Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

dancing good to hear you're alive. How did it go? Hope you have a nice, relaxing evening ahead. Do take care of yourself.

penguin we are in a similar boat except I didn't have any spotting. I'm really hoping I've ovulated again later in the month but not knowing is driving me insane. Wish I'd asked for another progesterone test later in the cycle but it's too late now. I don't have many sticks left so don't want to keep POAS. Perhaps I'll order more online tonight. Remind me what CD are you now?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 18:18

Dancing big hugs, take care of yourself xxx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 18:23

I'm not feeling nauseous at all, can anyone else who is further along advise as I'll be flying to LA at 7+2 (and back at 8+5) and I'm worried! I hate feeling sick on a plane more than anything! With my DD I did not get any nausea but I was 18 then.. now almost 31!
So my question is if you are feeling sick now or did at 7-8wks, when did it start? I'm desperately hoping I won't get it.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 18:24

In other news I found a Pilates class at work so I'm going in about an hour Smile decided to try and do at least 30 mins exercise every day even just a brisk walk, to take control of my weight gain as I am banned from hot yoga till end of May!

buzzmoon · 03/04/2017 18:30

dancing glad to hear you're alive! Hope you've got lots of nice things like magazines and yummy snacks. I got some Daim mini eggs earlier 🤤

grumpy 7+3 here and zero nausea so you'll probably be fine!!

buzzmoon · 03/04/2017 18:32

Amazing seven! I'm panicking a little because I've been so distracted and suddenly it's April and I hadn't done anything in the garden!! Beds all prepped now so look forward to the weekend when I can plant! I bought a lovely trellis arch too which I need to figure out how to put that up 🤔

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 18:32

Buzz thanks you are giving me hope... you are quite young though aren't you? Sorry if that sounds rude Grin

buzzmoon · 03/04/2017 18:35

Haha grumpy not rude at all! I didn't think that that could have an effect? jupiter hasn't had much either but not sure how young she is :)

NaturWilde · 03/04/2017 19:03

No sickness yet either for me! Though I'm not that young!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 19:04

Thanks buzz just thinking that I should try to be prepared one way or the other..

Just self referred online to the local maternity unit how exciting! I'm seeing GP Wednesday anyway but it said online that you still have to do the online form even if GP refers you, so thought I'd get it done! I had to fill in details about my last pregnancy etc. They send a booking in appointment letter in the next 7-10days how exciting!

confusedat23 · 03/04/2017 19:23

Dancing!!! ❤❤❤ so glad you are alive!

Seven I just got a really excited feeling when you said you are going to test... plus you are really not expecting it this month!... sorry about DH being grumpy! Mine is just agging me at the moment! Lol

Anyone worrying about sickness i havn't had much... the only time i feel sick is after eating tbh and a doctor told me it either starts early or it wont start until after the placenta takes over at approx 9 weeks... also only 50% of women even get sickness so please don't stress!!

Penguin27 · 03/04/2017 19:25

That is very exciting grumpy! I hope the nausea stays away for you... maybe it's a sign that you're having another DD??

Hi dancing, I'm glad today went as well as it could have. Take lots of time to do nice things for yourself and DH.

Otters can you get progesterone tests at home? Is that what an OPK test for? I'm a bit clueless in all of this! I'm CD33 now, you? I don't have any more tests so I'm going to buy those ICs that someone mentioned before.

NaturWilde · 03/04/2017 19:36

Thanks for that @confusedat23! All true.

Glad you're ok after today Dancing Flowers

Hope you get some answers soon Penguin.

That's exciting Grumpy! You self refer here too. Wonder if there are any differences between the systems here and in UK (where I'm actually from!).

HeyJupiter · 03/04/2017 19:41

Dancing It’s done! You’ve done it! You can heal now. I’m so glad you’re surrounded by lovely people. Sending lots of love. I did indeed have more gorgeous niece cuddles and having even more tomorrow. We’re all feeling very lucky.

Penguin I would test again just so you have a clearer picture of what’s going on. You could always test with seven on wednesday?

buzz and seven I love the sound of your seed sewing and gardening. How gorgeous. Wish we had the space - we have a tiny garden but I’ve snuck some tulips and daffodils around the edges to make it prettier. I’m also a massive fan of lavender as it’s hardy and seems to grow well with little input.

grumpy and buzz I’m 32 so somewhere in the middle age-wise on this thread I think. No nausea although I have developed an aversion to sweet potato.. exciting about the booking in appointment grumpy, hope they send you a date soon.

DancingUnicorn · 03/04/2017 20:02

I'm jealous of any kind of garden. Our housemate bought a daffodil for the windowsill. That's the extent. I've been tempted to sneakily plant crap loads of daffodils in the car park edges!! ;)

Dunno how/why I'm feeling so calm and positive. Today if officially CD1, though I have to wait for real AF before we can actually try again.

HeyJupiter · 03/04/2017 20:05

I'm so glad you're feeling calm Dancing - physically are you feeling alright too?

Parastars · 03/04/2017 20:06

Dancing been thinking of you today.
I'm almost two weeks post-erpc so we can hand hold together. Although DH and I are still so sad, I'm feeling a bit better about it all and will be ready to try again after af.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 20:14

For anyone needing some light relief.. I just walked past some builders on a construction site near my work (after Pilates) and involuntarily did the LOUDEST FART EVER. I literally had to hang my head in shame!

Pilates was so boring as well.. like old lady stretches 😴

MrsC2017 · 03/04/2017 20:20

dancing glad you are feeling calm, sending you lots of love!
nature you don't self refer where I am it's done by gp so think it depends on your hospital!
grumpy haha you probably made their day! Better out than in!

I'm also garden jealous, I have a huge garden but it's a big old lawn.... I Could plant but no idea what I'm doing and I struggle to keep my basil plant alive in my kitchen!

Parastars · 03/04/2017 20:33

Grumpy haha, that's brilliant! You will have made their day Grin

Tigger83 · 03/04/2017 20:35

I've planted loads of bits this week! All my peas and sweet peas in guttering, French beans etc potted up and loads of flowers and plug plants. My oh is doing an amazing job getting the garden ready. He's putting in 4 raised beds for my veggies and we're designing a raised seating area with BBQ and pizza oven at the back of the garden. Although it's causing some ahm 'debate' on the best layout.

Grumpy been nauseous since week 6 went away for a few days then hit me like a brick again yesterday week 9+5 it's liveable with don't get me wrong can do everything I did before just feel crappy. To the outside world (other than looking pasty and eating way more than normal) no one would know anything was up!

Dancing you've been in my thoughts today, glad things went ok and you're feeling calmFlowers

DancingUnicorn · 03/04/2017 20:49

Thanks para. Yes, lots of hand holding. I think it will be tough, but we can do it!

Thanks Jupiter, I feel ok physically. Kinda like mild period pain. I am expecting it to be worse tomorrow.

Grumpy brilliant! Hope you gave them a laugh!!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 22:08

V annoyed about how pathetic Pilates was. I think it's something you are meant to do after another workout, not on its own?

Anyway I've got home and eaten cheese on toast, half a packet of chocolate hob nobs and a Belgian waffle! Aaaaaargh!

Right. Got to take control and and least eat some broccoli or something. And find some bette exercise classes until I'm allowed back at hot yoga. Trying one of my studios cool classes tomorrow.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 03/04/2017 22:13

Dancing I hope you are snuggled up with a hot water bottle and treats Brew

penguinsandotters · 03/04/2017 22:37

grumpy ha ha bet you made their day! Hope you find a better exercise class. I do a lot of classes at the moment - body combat, body pump and high intensity interval training. Hoping I can continue if I get my BFP. Is there any cautions about exercise and pregnancy?

penguin I don't think you can test progesterone at home - I had a blood test to check the levels. The OPKs are to see if you ovulate or not. Just hang in there, really hope we both get our BFPs soon!

Feeling knackered and it's only Monday. It's going to be a long week! Good night x
