Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

Shouldn't have beenEnvy stupid fingers!!

Penguin27 · 22/03/2017 17:27

I'm ok Smile I don't work close to the scene, but in a high-risk area so we were on lockdown in our office! Feel quite nervous on the way home though.

HeyJupiter · 22/03/2017 17:39

Are all our Londoners okay? So sad. Just got home to the news :( No wonder you are all feeling so wobbly on the tube etc. Sending lots of love Flowers

Thank you for the lovely new thread parnsips

Tigger DH and I got married in October and went to Crete on honeymoon. Was still really warm but end of tourist season so got amazing deal on beautiful villa with heated pool. Stayed there for a week for around £900 with flights included for both. We were by the beach too and away from big cities but hired a car so went on little trips. Perfect for us - isolated but good amenities.

Hi Nature and welcome! Have you got a testing date in mind? That all sounds very promising.

NaturWilde · 22/03/2017 17:44

Hope all Londoners ok.

Thanks @HeyJupiter (cool user name!).

Period due a week yesterday, so 6 days...I may use an IC Friday morning! And a proper test on Sunday - I bought a few Sainsbury's tests last time I was in the uk.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 22/03/2017 17:46

I am fine I work in the city so far enough away but SIL's friend works in the ITU at kings cross where the attacker has been flown for treatment .. apparently victims there too.. odd

Seven0fNine · 22/03/2017 18:26

Shit glad you're all OK xx
Welcome nature
busy day here. Had to drive an hour to pick dh up then stuck in traffic on way back. New car isn't going to work out I don't think as insurance will be too much and dh is pretty stressed out about it all. But it's so nice to have him home and he has the doctors in a bit so hopefully he can chat and work through some stress with her as she's lovely xxx getting a pizza and beer after and hopefully dtd tho no sign of ov yet (may have missed it).

Yay new thread!!

Wiggleyfingers · 22/03/2017 18:30

So glad to hear everyone is safe and sound. Horrible and frightening.

Buzz I love your hen do reveal! What a great idea Smile send us a picture when you get one!

Thanks to everyone for the ideas on my unwelcome friend. I will definitely be doing all I can. AB arrived today so feeling very angry at my vagina in general. (Although can't blame it for the AB, it has no reason not to so far!)

Tigger I think that sounds like a great plan! Baby Tigger will be a lovely age and hopefully not too much on the move! Maybe a bit of bum shuffling but not walking?! How about Italy? Me and DP went there a few years ago and it was wonderful for Air B&B. We stayed wth lots of lovely families but also got some beautiful hotels for parts too. I would recommend hiring a car and driving through Tuscany.

DancingUnicorn · 22/03/2017 18:37

Another Londoner fine! Had to find alternative route home, as normally go over WM bridge. Hope you are recovered after the tube buzz. It gets tough, have you ordered a badge yet? (Free from TfL)

Hi Wilde! Welcome to the madhouse! :D

Baby tigger sounds SO cute!! :)

orangefolly · 22/03/2017 19:16

Hi ladies, just jumping on new thread. Horrible day, I work in Westminster. So awful. I'm home safe now though.

Sorry for AB wiggley she does like to add insult to injury!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 22/03/2017 19:23

Evening ladies. Very silly fight this morning with DH on what time he's leaving the office tonight.. sigh.. he's being really helpful at home but I get very anal about specifics when I'm stressed and he is disorganised not like that.. so feeling a bit sad, and guilty about not seeing DD much and work / life balance etc.. anyway I just left my girlie drinks after a very brief hour because I feel I need to see DD and be at home tonight (friends were very understanding even though it's someone who is over from Canada and I hardly see!). I hope to go and visit her maybe next year.

Work travel is booked 😳 LA here I come.. pregnant or not!!!! 👙 🤞🏼😁

Exhausted and feeling a bit spaced out - desperately trying not to start symptom spotting at just 3dpo!! Good that there is plenty to distract me over the next week. I'm going blonde on Friday 🙈 and have a (boozy??) Mother's Day lunch booked for me and a friend and our mums this Sunday. DD is with her dad but I should see her in the evening. What's everyone else doing for Mother's Day?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 22/03/2017 19:26

Orange so sorry it looked really scary on the tv at work with all the police and helicopters.. hope you can have a restful eve x

Penguin27 · 22/03/2017 20:13

Oh orange, I can imagine it must have been horrible for you there today Flowers glad you're safe!

Grumpy, you can enjoy a few drinks on Sunday at least, don't feel guilty! I'm going to MILs for dinner, so I'll need plenty of vino to get me through Grin

buzzmoon · 22/03/2017 21:20

orange so glad you're okay! So scary :(

Ooh grumpy when are you going to LA?? So exciting! Your week sounds fab too! I'm just seeing my mum and grandma on Sunday probably for a roast hopefully :)

seven glad your DH is home! I bet you missed him! Pizza and beer sounds perfect!

Where are you in the world wilde?

DancingUnicorn · 22/03/2017 21:28

Orange so glad you are home safely!!

Grumpy I'm sorry, work life balance and ttc and hormones generally makes things tough. Your dh will be fine though. Hope you have some quality time with your dd.

I'm spending Mother's Day getting up an extra hour early and seeing the midwife for my booking in! :D (finally!) Currently filling in forms....

buzzmoon · 22/03/2017 21:50

YES DANCING!!! I'm so excited for you yay!!

Wiggleyfingers · 22/03/2017 21:50

Guess what I've only just realised...There is a possibility that this could be our last Mother's Day as not a mum! (Obviously not relevant to all those already blessed with DC) I really hope this time next year I am a mummy ❤️Star fingers crossed!

buzzmoon · 22/03/2017 21:51

I've told DP he has to get me a 'future Mother' mothers Day gift 😂

buzzmoon · 22/03/2017 21:51

Fingers crossed for everyone 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽❤️

Wiggleyfingers · 22/03/2017 21:52

Hahah love it Buzz.😂

TheGrumpySquirrel · 22/03/2017 22:01

Buzz the trip is at the end of April. If I get my BFP this cycle I will be just over 7 weeks by the time I fly 😳

Dancing congrats on the upcoming booking in appointment that's so exciting!

HbH04 · 22/03/2017 22:04

I'm seeing TTC related things everywhere! Even H&M!

Getting Ready For Baby Challenge - Part 6
DancingUnicorn · 22/03/2017 22:09

Grumpy, if you get your bfp, you can buy sick bags on amazon! ;)

Finished my forms. Now feeling sad after having to write about my depression, which was so long ago and so much in my past. Wah! :'(

Lighter note, relieved to be able to answer that me and oh are not blood related.... (I guess they have to ask...?!)

Buzz love it! Hope he obliges!!

Wiggley yay! Hopefully next year we will all have little ones to cuddle! :)

Jupiter how is your must be giant sister holding up?!

MrsC2017 · 22/03/2017 22:41

dancing delighted you have got booking and if you think that's bad when the community nurse came to me for my postnatal visit with DS she asked if me and DH were related because we looked very alike.... Which we don't and are obviously not related!

NaturWilde · 23/03/2017 05:11

I'm in Ireland, @buzzmoon

And think I'm out...BFN on an IC this morning at 9/10 dpo....

NaturWilde · 23/03/2017 05:22

Ok...just looked at it within the timeframe. Super faint line...?!? It's there!!
