I'm probably going to hold on till Thursday at least then. I'll be 2 days early testing. Tomorrow we have a viewing on the house we really need to impress with so we can move to the dream house. I'll wait and see what they say about putting an offer in. Bit crampy though and have no pg symptoms so I'm losing hope a bit😳

Fx @helly do you have any signs of baby?

MissMagpie · 28/03/2017 08:42

Morning everyone. Feeling very focused for getting pregnant this month after the usual AF wobble.

I went on a short run last night after work and it was light! Fresh air and exercise have to be good for you eh? Also started some visualisation. Very good for the PMA.

Have realised that we will be on holiday in Italy for my fertile week this month. That's got to help as I will be relaxed, it will be sunny and there will be lots of good food, wine and coffee (in moderation!).

MissMagpie · 28/03/2017 08:43

Thanks for the messages Hippy. The flower one is excellent.

Sorry for the BFN helly. There's still some hope.

olicat · 28/03/2017 08:56

Can I join? Enjoying the tales of Peggy and Doreen!

Age 28 (29 tomorrow!)
Ttc #1
Waiting for AF so I can start cycle 1, 2 days late but bfn so body is just playing tricks on me/clinging on to the last bit of freedom! I have started taking pregnacare and have heard that it can mess up some people's cycles?

Hippychic79 · 28/03/2017 08:59

Rose Hey – I’ve been wondering where you’d got to… the hycosy being rescheduled could be a sign you don’t need it. I would always roll with what the Universe deals. I love the idea of the hypnotherapy meditation, I will have a look for that in the app store. I personally think that in the western world we’re all conditioned to think a pill for an ill, but I genuinely do not believe it is always necessary to take pills. I am very excited that some of you are joining the visualisation / meditation band wagon and I really hope it nets our BFPs.

Rainbow Wow an hour of mindfulness, that’s dedication. I try and do 10-20 minutes of meditation a day but I don’t always find time.

Bella I’m confident that if your opk’ing from cd7 you won’t miss peggy again 😊

Moo yes, it was a perfect day. DP works a lot so it was lovely to spend all day and all night with him, even though he did sneak off for a quick gym session! Happy Tuesday to you and bean too 😊

Amanda Good luck in getting another love making session in.

Helly Sorry to hear you got a BFN this morning, fx your BFP is being elusive.

Rainbow I think 11 DPO is a reasonable test time. I try not to encourage either way on the testing front as I think the decision is a personal one, that said if you have an IC I would use that, no point in wasting the expensive ones till you’re sure. Says me who only uses the expensive ones!

Cakes Loving the PMA despite being faced with a challenging month... I completely understand, my DP works a lot so trying to time the tackle is really hard, especially as he's not fully on board yet. We only usually get one well timed session in anyway.... and it only takes one doreen. #whatwillbewillbe

Magpie I'm so pleased to hear you got your PMA back chic.... AF does knock it out of you, but like Bella says, she's a necessary evil so i guess we should remember this. Wow Italy.... yeah I'd go easy on the coffee around ovulation, according to my new book that is... clearly I'm no expert else I'd be upduffed by now :)

Morning/afternoon ladies!!!

So I was right!!! Came home DTD and when I woke up from my nightshift sleep so technically my FMU I had a solid smiley! Swear I have never ever been so in tune with my body ever lol!!! Strange my Ovia app stated that my fertile weeek was only going to start tomorrow - however when instered today's data with the peak fertility - it all changed and apparently today is the 2nd last day of fertile week? Has this ever happened to anyone?? I'm glad I think I may have caught Peggy!!!!

MissMagpie · 28/03/2017 14:00

Amanda my Ovia does that most months! It is not very reliable. I find tracking CM and then doing opks is much better for tracking fertility. Xx

AmandaP86x · 28/03/2017 14:20

@missmagpie yeh this is probably the first month iv really paid a really close bit of attention. Doing the SMEP so have been OPKing since CD8ish. Last night I just knew I must have been ovulating. Got the solid today so DTD and will for next 2 days. Fingers crossed. I feel annoyed it's change my fertile week but tbh I was tracking but imagine folk just relied on that lol

rainbowsockstoday · 28/03/2017 15:23

@hippy I've always had to do some sort of meditation. I have PNP and so usually do it during bf to keep me calm. But I did it before then too.

AmandaP86x · 28/03/2017 15:33

Also so proud of myself just managed a 4km run outside not ran since before my last pregnancy so chuffed. I really enjoy out door running good for the PMA ha ha x

Hippychic79 · 28/03/2017 16:33

rainbow what is pnp please? And do you mean af not bf? #confused.com xxx

Hippychic79 · 28/03/2017 16:34

amanda well done on the running front xxx

OP posts:
rainbowsockstoday · 28/03/2017 18:21

Ha ha! Sorry @hippy I do mean bf as in breastfeeding.

PNP is post natal psychosis. It's a severe form of postnatal depression that makes you see things, hear things and believe things that aren't there. A lot of it comes from pressure, sleep deprivation and hormones but mainly it's the result of other deep issues that arise at a vulnerable moment. I have enough sense to know what's real or not 80% of the time but a lot I have no idea. For example I sometimes think people are talking about me and I can hear them in the dark. Even when I shout at them they keep going. I also used to think the baby was hurting me on purpose and he was telling me he hated me. He wasn't obviously but I used to cry for hours about it. On the other hand when I saw bugs crawling into my sons skin one night my every instinct was to kill them but that would have hurt the baby and I obviously couldn't do that so had to talk myself down.

Doing meditation and mindfulness created a calm mind for me when I was poorly and really helped me find a centre that was safe. It's healing and meant I became a stronger person for myself and my babies. I'm a big believer in being able to self heal but I also need help with the starting direction sometimes too.

That was all a bit deep. It's not as scary as people think and we are very happy people too. I sat and talked to a boy at school today who told me he saw no hope in the world and that miracles never happen. I told him the story of how I was told at 28 I would never have children. Three years later I had turned my life around and fought to see the happiness in everything and then one day I found out I was pregnant and it's given me a little boy who is made of pure joy. He cried and asked if he could give me a hug. This is a 16yr old boy who is breaking his heart already because the world hasn't been fair. I have experience beyond teaching Shakespeare and he needed that today.

Sorry... that wasn't meant to bring anyone down. I'm all about the pma. I'm also all about the need to test and IT'S TOO SOON! 11dpo and I'm down to about 3% willpower 😂

CakesALot · 28/03/2017 18:43

Wow @rainbowsockstoday. That sounds really tough and challenging with a small one around. Good for you for finding some strengthening ways to manage it. I suffered pnd after having DD. I'm usually the most laid back and easy going person ever. But I wasn't at that point in my life. I won't go into any details but I will say that I too always see the good in every day now and focus on the many ways in which I'm blessed. Not just PMA for baby making but PMA for all of life.

But enough with the deep stuff!! I would so be testing if I were you,I'm pretty useless,I see getting to 12 dpo without testing as a mega achievement!!! Fx for you xx

rainbowsockstoday · 28/03/2017 18:57

@cakes I've recounted and tomorrow is actually 11dpo as Saturday is the deciding day.... I have no symptoms at all though. Problem is I don't remember with dc because it was seven weeks before I found out I was pg and that was because I was feeling a bit weird and not because I suspected anything. My boobs hurt a bit at some point but that was an af symptom before dc. Since I started bf two and a bit years ago my boobs are terrified to make themselves known in case the vampire baby starts biting again 😆 ohhhhhhh girls If you're ever been bitten by a feeding baby you'll jump a mile in shock! It's literally every last gram of mothers instinct that prevents you dropping them 😆

hellybellyjellybean · 28/03/2017 19:43

No real symptoms, was feeling sick most of the weekend and sore boobs but just felt a bit crampy today as if af is on her way, just keeping fingers crossed as I normally have a bit of spotting a couple days before af but not had any. Seriously clutching at straws here!!

rainbowsockstoday · 28/03/2017 19:46

@helly you might be the next! I literally have zero symptoms. Even the cramps from the weekend are gone now.

Hippychic79 · 28/03/2017 19:59

rainbow wow that was deep, thank you for sharing - it sounds like you've come a long way since those darker days .... fair play to your dedication zero mindfullness and PMA.

Fx for you and helly xxx

Sophsta · 28/03/2017 20:20

rainbow That sounds awful. Well done to you for dealing with it so pragmatically. I'm not sure I would be as strong.

Ladies waiting to test, I'm due on tomorrow and think I saw a little bit of spotting (blink and you'd miss it so I'm not sure). I have tests in the bathroom and am tempted to do one tomorrow morning if I see nothing else tonight. I know it would be better to wait but I really want to POAS.

I have convinced myself that this isn't my month and have kind of cheered myself up by remembering that I'm going to a really fancy spa in a few weeks and a nice holiday to Cornwall so it will allow me o have and do the thing I wouldn't be able to do if it was a BFP.

I know I should think positive thoughts but this is my way of processing information to avoid the biggest emotional fallout. I am a highly emotional person!

olicat · 28/03/2017 21:38

AF has arrived! Can get going now. Cd1, cycle 1...

rainbowsockstoday · 28/03/2017 22:23

So I've had a think... we have people viewing the house tomorrow with a view to us selling it. That means I'm busy tomorrow and won't test till Thursday. Thursday though I have to be out early to get dc ready for my mums and will be a stressful day because I worry all the time he's there. Won't test then in case it makes my day worse! Friday I am off and that's only one day early so if the dreaded af hasn't pitched up by then I might try and see if anything has happened... I'm too worried about the upset though and am talking myself out of it. Every time I test early it's a bfn and af starts so I'm getting superstitious!

😂 way too much talking to myself tonight! 😂

Sophsta · 29/03/2017 06:25

Just tested and BFN. Just waiting for AF now!

rainbowsockstoday · 29/03/2017 06:45

I was weak. Bfn so that's me out for this month. Saturday will be cd1 of cycle #23 😐
