Have you got friends that you can talk to about your baby? Did you name him/her?Please only answer these questions if you want to, i wont be offended if you dont.xxx

greedyforbabies · 18/02/2007 19:45

wow you lot have been chatty today!

sorry to hear you are so down today rahrah. you are entitled to your down days, lets hope tomorrow is better for you.
ready - i bet you have recovered already knowing you! probably back to your normal optimistic self already........am i right? and i dont want to hear that you are feeling negative about this month, i am feeling highly positive for you still.

mum03 - i am still waiting for some definate news from you, not sure if i believe you are really on cd4. if your temp drops tomorrow and you have managed to take it properly, then i MIGHT believe you!

i do a limited amount of paediatric cranio scaral work, but not on grown ups! it seems to work really well on little ones, but i do combine it with massage and other paediatric chiropractic adjustments so it could be the whole combination that works so well...............i love treating babies! its the best bit of my job!

i have just frozen my dh's verrucca off at his request! we are so romantic dont you think!?

ok ladies, i must go and soak in the bath and try and take my mind off my scan tomorrow! i am STILL spotting! one minute i feel pg and the next minute i dont, so i am a bit nervous ( actually .........i am shitting myself!)

mum03 · 18/02/2007 19:45

Rah - sorry you are feeling so low, I don't know how we can help, you clearly miss Bertie very much and that is only natural, perhaps getting some berevement councelling would help, is there anyone at the hospital that could help? Did the hospital give you any contacts? I hope that me trying to cheer you did not make things worse. I would not want to hurt you. Please know that we do care and can empathise even though we have never been in your shoes. {{{hug}}}

Ready - I have put your details into fertility friend...!!!! I know you did not ask me, but if you email me at fertiltyfriend at yahoo . co . uk then I will send you the details. PS it said you did not o until day 16 on cycle 5!

Greedy - good luck with the scan tomorrow - have got fingers crossed fro you - It will be fine I'm sure

How amazing that you do some cranio-sacral work too and on little ones - If I do get lucky enough to have a baby I am DEF going to take it for therapy as have heard so many positive stories about its effects on newborns.

You are obviously way more qualified to recommend treatment than me - but I really think it could help many of us - rahrah included.

mum03 - maybe we can have our own little experiment on FF and TCOYF - which one is right! Even more confusion - but interesting nonetheless!

Ready - are you starting to feel like a lab rat yet !!

Greedy - good luck with your scan tomorrow. Please let us all know how it went. What a cool job!!!!!
Seaside - I am in agreement with you about having cranial sacral work done when i have a baby, totally believe it gives them a good start to life.
I have just noticed my cervix is very high and soft - good sign me thinks!! Didnt think I would ever be able to tell but after doing last cycle it is beginning to make sense as is the CM. I thought there would be loads of it but now I have put that behind me I have now seen the lotion and the sticky, waiting for the EW - very excited!x

weepootleflump · 18/02/2007 21:05

rahrah, so sorry you're having a bad time. It just clicked with me who you are, as I spoke to you on the thread about Bertie (I lost my boy in Sept 06 at 32 wks) and you don't live too far from me as I remember. How nice that we've ended up on this thread together. Let's hope we don't have to stay too long .

ammylovesolivia, I see you're getting married in Nuneaton - do you live there?

lottie, can't believe you're only on your 4th cycle - you're such an expert! ps, I love your name - you sound v. glam!

For everyone else on the topic of whether over-obsessing is not helpful: I tried for 7 months with dd and the first month we decided to 'stop trying' it happened.

With ds, I was not ttc but only using my awareness of when I ov as contraception. It worked for a few months until one night I had a bit too much red wine...

However, this time I'm really desperate to get pg as quickly as poss as I don't want too large a gap between my dd and the next one. Plus I'm really enjoying obsessing about it, just not sure yet about the charting - worried that it'll take too long and give me even less time on here. Dh is getting a bit anti about always coming second to mnet .

Only 2 full days to go till MIL goes home .

weepootleflump · 18/02/2007 21:06

Sorry, forgot to say good luck with scan tomorrow greedy - hope all goes well.

ammylovesolivia · 18/02/2007 21:31

I do live in Nuneaton- Do you?

Another novice question for the wise temp ones : woke up this am at 7am to go to loo - tried to forget about it but had to go - took temp before - 36.84. Then went back to sleep till normal temp time 8am - thought I would take temp again out of curiosity 36.94 - I am right to go with the first one aren't I? If I adjust for the hour I think it is 36.89 - so splitting the diff? Sorry for dumb questions!!

seaside72 · 19/02/2007 09:27

Just put temps into FF temp adjustor and it says temp should be 36.95?? curiouser and curiouser!

Thanks lottie - Ok I get it, I think - actually I just looked at my scribbled post it note (written in dark at 7am and actually first temp was 36.86 not .84 (doh) so guess the FF has rounded down by .01.

Anyhoo - will go with adjusted in FF as it has done the calculation - I guess it is still up which is the main thing

Thank you oh wise one!!

Morning Ladies, Hope everyone is well?? I am not a happy bunny again this morning My temp actually went down

Greedy, I would have recovered, for sure, if my temp hadn't gone down today and completely baffled me. Confused. Good luck today, try not to worry

Mum03, Of course I am not upset with you for adding my details, I skimmed the posts this morning before adding my temp, and saw Seaside had called me a lab rat and wondered what had happened in my absence Interesting that it said CD16, which is what I had ended up on myself purely from the temps and nothing else. Funny how TCOYF and FF differ Another high temp for you though, what's that all about?? Have you tested?? (What on earth has happened? I am asking about testing )

Seaside, My friends baby was born with a slight tilt in her head to one side, and she had cranial massage, is that the same thing? Really sorted her out, and apparently it works wonders for getting babies started out with everything where it should be. I think we would consider it too.

Weepootleflump, only 2 days, I hope they fly by for you

Minxi, Enjoy Dorset!! V jealous of your high temp
