Seaside, I do love my little booklet I said all along that I would get the TCOYF software if not successful after 6 months.

I am angry at myself for being such a dufus really!! Just told DH that we may have been slowing the pace too early, told him we had to do it every day for the next 3 days, he seemed pleased by the latter comment

Lottie, you are right, it had made me realise I was making the chart look like I thought it should, not how it actually did (if that makes sense?)... So the OPKs were not a total disaster, although, shouldn't I have got a +ve yesterday if OV today??

Oh go on Ready - it will be good practice for TCOYF - then you can join us on the chartspotters thread too!!

angelfire777 · 18/02/2007 15:33

Lottie, thanks for info on TCOYF and FF.
Seaside your dads a musician? cool! what does he play? I bet you do have healing hands. The only thing that stops people usually is that they have doubts in their ability!! i would also like your cranio-sacral therapists address please as mine moved abroad and I have been looking for one. Oh I so love the sychronicity of the whole cranial thing! . I am on Mac too, so it will have to be FF then. Just had a look and it looks so complicated!!!!!

I think Lotties is right Ready. Its a positive thing to learn as you can now take control and do something about it. Easier said then done the whole relax and it will just happen thing though and I dont think you are a control freak about it. I once heard a brilliant thing that I try and live my life by it was, " you need to try and knock on all the doors but dont kick them down". This means to me that you try everything possible but when you have done that you need to sit back and trust a little.Does that make any sense? I also add a little bit on of my own which is have a little peek through the letterbox - but that is because I am so nosey!!!!!

That month I had written OV as CD15 because of the temp dip on 14... what a tool I am.

Thanks for doing that for me Lottie. I think I am definitely going to have to get the TCOYF software. Maybe before the end of this current cycle.

So CD14 huh. CF was creamy on 12 and 13, and I had EW on 14 and 15 then nothing noticeable on 16. We had sex on 8, 10, 14,15,16,19,26. Clearly not enough

Ready · 18/02/2007 16:18

Does TCOYF allow you to put previous cycles in??

Hang on a minute Ready - I seem to remember some teasing yesterday about OVing on CD14 - payback me thinks!!!!

Ready · 18/02/2007 16:26

Seaside I deserve some teasing

Thanks Lottie, I am sorry if I don't get back to you straight away, I am busy with lots of things in the house, and popping on the pc as and when I get five minutes!

Ready · 18/02/2007 16:29

Lottie, at the eggs!! I thought I was cracking up (no pun intended)... I was thinking, I didn't tell them I had poached eggs, then I realised it was on another thread... phew, I am not mental (well, only a bit)

seaside72 · 18/02/2007 16:35

Lottie -well done on Ready's temps!! It make me LOL to think of us all on a sunday afternoon doing charts and analysing each others info!!

Ready - I soo need to do some housework - but MN is such a good distraction!!

angelfire - my Dad is a singer/songwriter and guitarist (he's brilliant - but I am his daughter !!!). Thought you might be a mac girl as well - being a musician!

This is the cranio-sacral therapist I recommend in London W1 - The rooms are on Harley Street (can never remember the number - sorry) and I think she is there only on Mondays and Tuesdays Hilary Phillips Tel: 020 7486 8687. She also practices in Kent - and I can recommend another good one in the Oxfordshire/ Henley on Thames area if that is any use to anyone!!

Thanks Lottie, you may have your chart back now ... Really interesting stuff. I have to say it is worse to hear that we did it on 2 of the best days last cycle, as nothing came of it. If you know what I mean. It's far easier to feel that I have miscalculated and that might be why we haven't conceived yet, but if we are doing it at the right time and it hasn't happened, there must be something wrong, mustn't there??

angelfire777 · 18/02/2007 17:48

Ready - I understand why you think that is worse but its just normal. Even if we hit the right days it doesnt guarantee anything, it just makes the odds better of getting PG it doesnt nescessarily mean that there is anything wrong. I know you know this in your heart but thought I would remind you! x

ammylovesolivia · 18/02/2007 17:53

Oh Ready, Of course it doesnt mean there is something wrong.

It simply means that with every odd stacked against you- which there is with ttc, nature just isnt kind- it hasnt happened YET. xxxx

(((((((((((((((((((((HUG))))))))))))))))))))

seaside72 · 18/02/2007 17:55

IKWYM Ready - but I honestly think that all our charting and temping serves to help us feel better rather than guarantee a BFP - It is what I have now decided to call the "greedy" factor - you can do it on all the right days for months but it seems like it happens when it bl**y well wants to.

After 11 months of trying to do it at the right time ( I would say we have managed maybe 6 cycles in the past year of technically doing it at the best times) I am moving towards some testing to see if anything is wrong - but you are so young and it does seem that many people just take longer - (Personally I think our bodies just don't know what to do yet!!) I remember exactly how I felt after the first month that I used the CB monitor and had BDed on all peak days and a few before and I just thought - this is it I am pregnant - I was so shocked when AF arrived!

Keep you chin up hon - it might be your month yet!

minxi · 18/02/2007 17:55

Ready - totally agree in the charting etc, I didn't think about the charting and temps when ttc the other 2, if I had maybe I would have conceived earlier...who knows... this time round feel like I am learning !

Lottie if I dont get bfp this month think I may have to get you to analysze my chart!! pplease....

ammylovesolivia · 18/02/2007 17:57

I cant believe that software tells you all that info. Amazing. Even when to have sex. bizarre.

Ready, I have the little Boots book to, and am very fond of it. Spend ages pondering over my temps.

BTW, GOOD NEWS!! Temp went up a bit today. I think I do ovulate!
