Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Music mouse to be honest the BJ thing is probably rubbish and you always hear how people get pregnant when they were out partying / eating sushi / bungy jumping etc so following the rules doesn't seem to hold the answers! I sometimes wonder if just getting really drunk might do the trick Hmm

Hello kav good to see you well done on the marathon that's amazing!

Skipper this is my first cycle on pressed and I'm loving it. Much more pleasurable all round

LondonJem · 30/09/2016 22:02

Hurrah! 👏🏼

sk1pper · 30/09/2016 22:02

London - I'm glad you can recommend it. I've been trying to work out what's going wrong for me and i don't think my CM is the best at the crucial times of the month. I've heard lots of people have success with it so thought I'd give it a go.

WingingIt83 · 30/09/2016 22:26

We also use preseed and have done for a few cycles. We mainly use it as lube, although I've managed to use as intended a couple of times.

music I hear that no symptoms is the biggest symptom of a bpf :-)

Musicgrrl · 01/10/2016 07:06

Whoops - I tested already and got a BFN with the most sensitive test you can get. I didn't have the will power to not test! I know you're not out until AF arrives but I really have the feeling that despite my longer LP it's not my month for a BFP. If AF hasn't arrived by Monday (would be 14 dpo) I'll test again. FX for the other testers this weekend!

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 07:12

I'm a definite out, AF hasn't arrived yet but I had red spotting last night then my temp plummeted this morning. I should be happy with this chart though right? It doesn't really hint at any luteal phase problems like I was panicking about before.

Sorry you got a BFN music was hoping one of us could celebrate.

Musicgrrl · 01/10/2016 07:27

So sorry to hear about your spotting and temp drop skipper. It's so frustrating when your temp goes higher and then drops off isn't it?! I have only been temping for two cycles but I think your chart looks good. What were you worried about re your LP in particular? 11 days should be long enough for implantation so I don't think you've got any worries there.

We need to do something nice to cheer ourselves up this weekend. I think mine will feature Cake

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 07:34

I was just freaking out about those dips but it never got any lower.

I'm on the October bus thread managing the list, there have already been 3 BFPs on there. I'm thinking I shouldn't be on that kind of thread anymore, people come and go too quickly.

My OH was also completely meh about it this morning, I wish he talked to me more about it. I just said "well I'm not pregnant" and he said "neither am I". I know he's trying to be funny but with my PMS I was just like graaaaah.

Cake sounds like a fab idea, at least I can have that drink tomorrow and my wedding deposit is safe.

What are your plans for the weekend?

Musicgrrl · 01/10/2016 07:55

Yes, I think the temp dips are nothing to worry about and you'll probably find that the profile looks quite different for your next cycle anyway - mine don't look the same. At least you've got a cycle of data now Smile

The October bus thread sounds tough. I have read a few threads like that and you see people who seem to get pregnant just by thinking about babies! There's no justice in this world! (I'm just jealous...)

I am totally with you re OH as mine is the same. I didn't even tell him I was testing. I wonder whether it's because mine don't understand how a cycle works and so he can't engage with it very well. Imagine if men were the ones with the eggs!! Hope your OH realises that he needs to be super nice to you this weekend.

We don't have many plans. Cleaning, DIY, a nice walk if the weather holds out and takeaway today!

Wedding deposit is definite silver lining!! And guilt free drinking Smile

Musicgrrl · 01/10/2016 07:56

Sorry, that was long!!

kwick · 01/10/2016 07:59

Just place holding for now....FTLOG ( for the love of God) there are already 9 pages of this thread!!!!

Thank you wing and hep it is nice to know you care Grin

As I am footloose and fancy free I am using donor magic potion. 💥
I had my first IUI in September 2015, following that I have done another 3 "natural" IUIs, one with drugs, and IVF with drugs that resulted in a BFP - which I later miscarried at 8 weeks. I just did a "natural" IVF which resulted in a BFN so have decided to do a Hycosy (where they put dye through your tubes to make sure they are clear) if that goes well I will try another "natural" IUI before I go back to "natural" IVF.
I take a cocktail of supplements daily to assist with egg quality, I also have a pre-ovulation protocol (which involves milk) and a TWW "action plan" - happy to share.
I believe in PMA... Although have many low points too, and then am picked up by all you lovely ladies 💕

Starmist · 01/10/2016 08:17

I'm having lots of cake today as I'm off for chocolate afternoon tea with my friend.

It doesn't seem to matter how many times I explain how things work to DH he doesn't get it (or doesn't want to get it). Maybe it's the pressure of it all. Last night my technique was to be super nice but seem totally uninterested in sex. Worked a charm.

Hope you ladies all have a nice weekend. I'm sure some good luck will come our way soon xx

MouseLove · 01/10/2016 08:27

I have a massive slab of cake in the fridge from yesterday's bake sale at work. Sk1pper I'll send you some. And yes... that October bus is a bus full of BFP. I'm glad you're over here too, because you seem to understand my crazy beautifully.

I'm lay in bed, a rare event, currently breathing through back ache pain. I think I'm going to have to finally go see a doctor about this, only been a few years of me trying to ignore it. Losing 2 stone has actually made it worse. FFS Sad

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 08:35

Yeah I think everyone who was in my period of testing/AF has had a BFP so far and the others have good symptoms or AF is late. I just thought why am I doing this to myself? I'm happy for them but I find this thread much more supportive, especially as I'm going down the fertility test route now. Also as BFPs on here are rarer they don't loose their magic when one is announced.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend too xx

geeup · 01/10/2016 08:42

Skip magic - don't know what's happened to me but I caved and tested too when I saw you girls had. Massive ginormous bfn for me also. Defo not bloody preggo again. Clomid, here I come.

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 09:12

geeup - sorry to hear that geeup, it's good to be hopeful though. I'm just going to try and be a bit more realistic going forward and only test if AF is late.

mouse - how did you hurt your back? I'm surprised that loosing weight has made it was worse but it's incredible you've lost two stone, well done :) have you taken some strong pain killers?

geeup · 01/10/2016 09:13

Thanks skip.
Mouse - sorry you've got a bad back. Flowers

MouseLove · 01/10/2016 09:18

I'm gonna go take some pain killers now. Only got ibuprofen in. Ah well. I think it's just an ongoing problem I've had for a while. I'm like a little old lady with bad back, knees and clicking joints. I'm sure I must have done something at some point but it flares up now and again. It's been slowly getting worse over the week. Today it's really bad. I'm bad if I have to stand for a while but I've not been standing anywhere lol

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 09:54

So annoying its happened at the weekend though, get someone to wheel you to the fridge so you can at least eat your cake! Grin

I'm glad you're over here too Mouse - I'm still going to buy a gorilla if it happens this year. I hope I haven't made a PMS fueled rash decision leaving the bus but I can't deny, have been finding that thread really really tough for a while now.

Musicgrrl · 01/10/2016 10:52

Sorry to hear about your back mouse - sounds horrid. Hope you've popped some pills!

geeup sorry for influencing your poas plan and that it was a BFN for now. I will try and agree to a pact where only test after 14dpo if AF hasn't shown up before then! I got a bit trigger happy this cycle.

sk1pper · 01/10/2016 11:05

I will join that pact Grin

HepKestrel · 01/10/2016 11:20

tee hee ...... my MN secret is out......
OH has just admitted using MN to get advice on the new kitchen Grin

LSFX everyone !

harrietm87 · 01/10/2016 12:58

Hi everyone! I'm back! I was actually one of the originals - first joined this thread about a year ago. Have had a quick skim through this one and think I only remember fxskip and kwick?? We started trying in Jan, got engaged in Feb then had a chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage at 5 weeks, and decided to wait until after our wedding, which was a month ago. Husband is travelling for work for all of April and all of August next year, so now decided to wait to TTC until Dec or Jan. it's also my 30th in Jan so thinking of having big party for that and then trying, but given we've already postponed for a whole year I might give in. Also worried that we might have issues because of the CP, though that's probably irrational. Hello anyway!

MouseLove · 01/10/2016 13:00

Hahaha hep!!! My DH said it was "super cute" when he asked what I was posting on. And I just had to stare at him for a little while haha.

Well, did he get good advice?? Hahaha
