Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

sk1pper how are you doing?

jem please forgive my ignorance but why is DH exposed to radiation as a pilot? Confused are the passengers on the plane also exposed? I sooooo need a new job!

I need to get some PMA - itchiness and work and foot/leg pain is getting me down... hope this means AF is on its way Grin

I love swimming too but find it so hard to factor in to schedule - especially as I am not supposed to swim on 2ww due to infection risk.

LondonJem · 19/10/2016 08:44

Kwick I think it's the thinner atmosphere, you are more exposed to radiation from space. Flying from London to New York gives you the equivalent radiation as a chest X-ray. http://www.traveller.com.au/flight-risk-how-much-radiation-do-planes-expose-you-to-1a54m

I'd prefer to stay together too. Really like the chatty community vibe on this thread Brew

sk1pper · 19/10/2016 10:11

Kwick - the mornings seem to be worse for me, I don't know if it's because I've be lying flat for 8 hours or so and the "debris" doesn't move. OH and I are doing another 10 mile walk today, it sounds insane but it's our last day and we've hardly done anything. I refuse to let this ruin my time away.

Also, I'd like to stay together if possible. Some people coming off the pill and coil have problems with their cycles and between us we can normally offer some advise. I think a BFP from time to time lifts our spirits too.

AlexiaB · 19/10/2016 13:19

Geeup the doctor didn't mention it but I'll ask about it. I do know a lot of people who take it unmonitored and it's all been fine. I figure if womb lining isn't good there's not a lot that can be done especially as I won't be triggering? Not sure. Also, sorry yesterday I misread your post as cd3 instead of 3dpo! idiot Glad to hear you didn't have any major side effects. Will be keeping my fx for you!

I also like it here Smile I like to give and take advice, and I like you all!

DH is on the e-cigs today Grin the pressure worked haha. He seems pleased with himself, I just hope he sticks with it now!

I've got a lovely roast in the oven for a nice late lunch (www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/roast-chicken-roots). I'm in a good place atm. We're taking some time out this month and probably next - NTNP. Still temping but not too bothered what happens. Will still be cheering you all on!

Binkybunny13 · 19/10/2016 13:40

Hello all, sorry have been absent- had a job interview so had been swotting, which was probably good actually as I'm coming to the end of TWW and has kept me busy!

Due AF tomorrow and as we barely DTD this cycle (DH had awful shifts and got a cold for FW) not holding out much hope. Although did randomly have EWCM couple of days ago plus have really tender nipples which Ovia helpfully told me could be an early sign of pregnancy Hmm

I'm so sorry for those having a hard time- I'm really far behind the thread so apologies for not mentioning individuals but thinking of you all. Having this forum is so helpful, makes me know I'm not alone, and not everyone just looks at their OH and falls pregnant. Keep swimming ladies Chocolate

LondonJem · 19/10/2016 17:53

Good work on the ecigs mralexia. What's NTNP?

Hi binky fx for your symptoms and the job interview!

Skipper hope you enjoyed your long walk

I've got my GP appointment tomorrow morning. I'm going to ask about low morphology and next steps for him. I'm going to ask what's next for me - what scans or possible medication or investigations are recommended. Is there anything else I should be asking or expecting?

Pugmummy87 · 19/10/2016 18:23

AF most defintely here.

GP appt went really well, had bloods today for LH, FSH, TSH, Oestrodial, prolactin, testosterone and rubella.
DH is going to have a semen analysis done.
Got to go back in 2 weeks to review results and also have swabs taken and arrange progesterone test. Once we have results back from everything, she will then refer us to hospital.

FX for your appt tomorrow Jem.

Im so miserable. Had a huge arguement with dh as i came home from work upset that ive had a whole day of hearing about my colleagues pregnancy. Im at breaking point with how much it hurts to not have a child and he cant bear me going on and feeling so down. He doesnt get it.He wants relaxed trying and i want to do everytjing to increase my chances. I was ready 5 years ago to try for this baby with him. I hate that ive upset him and i hate that the whole baby thing hurts so much.

AlexiaB · 19/10/2016 19:07

Jem it's "not trying, not protecting". Your GP list looks good. Also skipper thanks for the shout on decaf yesterday. DH actually really liked decaf tea today so that's a win! Hope you had a nice walk without any pain.

Pug glad the GP went well, all sounds very positive!

Starmist · 19/10/2016 20:05

Hope everyone is ok. There's so much to catch up on, I love how active this thread is.

EJ I'm sorry you're having a hard time. It's such a difficult process. There are 2 heavily pregnant women in my office & seeing it each day is tough, although I've learnt they've had their own difficult journeys & challenges. I read that you should try to keep in the moment & focus on the day you're currently on & find the positives in it. I know that's such a simple obvious thing but I've really been trying it & I'm feeling more positive & calm than I have done. Hope you can find something that will help you cope. Definitely vent here, it helps.

Babybeesmama · 19/10/2016 20:17

Hello .. been lurking so thought I'd say hello

TTC: no 3
Cycle: 3
Age 33

About to hit the 2ww Grin & attempt not to turn into a psycho! On some pretty serious medication for severe eczema.. tried to come off to TTC but sadly failed miserably & am now back on it, so worrying a bit about that!

HepKestrel · 19/10/2016 20:45

EJ Flowers

its not easy, but there is some relaxing needed Smile

have something to take your mind off it.

skipper, alexia so back on my post-ERPC-day-trip-to-york i got some lovely betty's decaf loose tea..... am having that in the evening now (so i can still have my coffee at work!!) in fact...... i'm gonna put the kettle on now.

MouseLove · 19/10/2016 21:00

Beesmama hi, did you typo? Are you TTC#1? Cycle #3. Welcome!!

Belly is bubbly tonight, and I had a mini meltdown earlier.

Pug you sound like me, only my DH is thankfully a voice of reason. He reassures me that it might take a little while but that's perfectly normal. We have been together for 13 years so kiddiwinks have been on our mind for a very long time. We've always been hit with bad luck with timing so I almost still feel like something will stop us again. It evokes the weirdest feelings doesn't it. An almost desperate need.

LondonJem · 19/10/2016 22:44

Pug love sorry about AF but sounds so positive with your GP and next steps / referral

EJ they just don't get it. I totally get the colleagues thing. Today went for a chat with my mate Gem in production who is expecting her third baby. They got pregnant first with first baby, second attempt with second and first attempt with baby. They basically have to be really careful to not fall pregnant. I held it together for the whole convo as she said to me I know how lucky we are. I can't believe how easy it is for some people.

Hello bees

harrietm87 · 19/10/2016 23:26

Thanks for the thermometer tips geeup and mouse - will give it a try! Had another friend announce pregnancy today. I've only got 2 friends with babies (3yr old and 1yr old) but now 7 pregnant friends! Everyone is getting in on it! All
Due feb-April. Really wish I was joining them but still holding out till jan to even start ttc again. Argh.

EJ2009 · 20/10/2016 06:52

So after a 3 dat post ovulation rise in temperature, i have now jad 3 days of low temperatures - before ovulation sort of low. I read this can be a progesterone problem. Its my first month on the temperatures so i guess i will have to carry on with them a few more months to see if this is a pattern?

crombanna · 20/10/2016 07:42

Right, I've been lurking long enough...it's time. Finally got the weirdly not-explicit go-ahead from my husband to start TTC.

Crombanna
28
TTC no 1
Cycle 1
CD 15
28-29 day cycles

I've been tracking my periods using an app for 2 years (!) and am still not sure when I actually ovulate! I think day 15-17...I need to start temping. OPKs are a step too far at this stage I think.

Like a lot of people I guess I have a "feeling" that it's going to take forever.

Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next few months of boob squeezing and knicker-checking.

AliceScarlett · 20/10/2016 07:44

lurking My 21 day bloods that ended up being cd1 bloods, came back "All fine no concerns"? What? Joke. I've just been spotting for 9 days now.

Someone make a new thread!

AlexiaB · 20/10/2016 10:18

Thought I'd post this here quickly..

Welcome Crombana :) Hope this journey is a quick one for you. There's lots of girls temping here if you need any help.

Alice Can you get them redone? Hope the spotting stops soon.

EJ sounds weird can you post your chart?

Notyetthere · 20/10/2016 12:50

Crobanna - Welcome! I don't think opk is a step too far. If anything, I prefer opk as it tells you when the LH surge is happening and that ovulation will be taking place imminently so you can dtd at that time to have a 'fresh batch' waiting for the egg. Temping for the first time will tell you when ovulation happened(FF confirmed after 3 days of temp rises). Basically, opk is best right before ovulation and temping is normally more useful after ovulation. However, temping comes into its own after a few cycles when it establishes a pattern in your cycles. Try using the internet cheapies to see if your ovulation dates match your suspected dates of cd15-17

Babybeesmama · 20/10/2016 18:20

Sorry... I'd not noticed it was about TTC no 1 Blush... Confusedxx
