By the way. Does anyone else get sore boobs from mid cycle onwards? Every month i get "dont you date touch me" sore nipples from cd13/14 until about 3 days before af (which comes about cd31)

EJ I typically get sore boobs 6-5days before AF, which goes 1-2 days before AF. This is typical hormones

Well bloody hell if that wasn't a sure sign for me NOT to buy the OPKS!!! Just looked on eBay, signed in, noticed the price changed to $ and my delivery address was somewhere in New Jersey USA. My eBay had been hacked!! All sorted now but I've backed away from buying

I'd get from Amazon but we share the account with my sister and mum. I'm pretty sure my sister has already seen my thermometer on the order list. I'm not ready to have 'that' conversation yet with them.

Ej- sorry about the baby bomb. That would have been difficult for you. I too use the cheap Internet opks and I sometimes think they are positive but then the next day it gets darker. The last 2 cycles I got a positive for just half a day so it was easier to pinpoint the surge as it was very brief. However, since the mc, this cycle has been a very long surge with very strong positives over 3 days so it was very confusing. DH reckons multiple eggs are being released everyday and that we might end up with quads with the never ending surge. I will continue to use the ics because if I am not sure, I can use several a day and not worry about the expense. I find that it helped me to put them in a line and mark them with cds in the hope that I will understand my cycles better.

Hep - please update my details. Going by my opks, I think I ovulated on Monday (cd18) so today is 3dpo. AF expected around 23rd Oct.

Sk1pper - Good luck with the doctors. Hopefully they listen to you this time.

I am temping this time round. I started on cd11 so not many meaningful figures to establish a pattern as such and also not doing it at the same time in the morning but always before I crawl out of bed but hoping to have it more uniform next week when I go back to work. It is forming a pretty pattern though and I find myself staring at the wiggly line for a long time trying to understand what it all means.

kwick I actually ordered coq10 for DH. Do you take it for egg quality? Should I be taking it at 25?

Jem good to hear your DH is taking positive steps too. Impressed he ordered the Proxeed on his own! Mine doesn't drink coffee or alcohol very often so it's just the smoking we need to work on. Your symptoms sound really promising! I'm a very bad influence but I'd have caved and tested by now. LSFX! really hope it's your month

Can I join the crazy symptom spotting no sign of AF & I usually getting spotting a few days beforehand. Still getting strange tummy feelings. Also had some unusual poo activity the past few days... although I'm still feeling full of cold so that could be affecting things. But I read having a cold is also a sign... argh.

Good call on lining the opk's up. Is it weird to root through the bin for the last 3 days ones haha. how often does everyone dtd in fertile week? Some things ive read say every other day is actually better for quality sperm but every day seems psychologically like a better chance.

EJ we now try to DTD every 2-3 days throughout the whole cycle as it's good to keep their balls working I read lol. We didn't always though; I learned this while watching The Big Sperm Race. If I get a positive OPK then we try to do it 3 days in a row (google SMEP).

Starmist join us, its full unadulterated symptom spotting in full flow. I've been very farty tonight (mind you so has DH ) my boobs are so sore! I'm hungry and tired and emotional.

Alexia I'm seriously not testing I absolutely loathe it with a passion. I swear I would open the packet and my period would come on the spot. It's like a curse or something. No I need to be actually late now!

EJ jury's out. I've tried every other day, every day, every two to three - and nada. We are currently in an every day in fw approach. With preseed!

I've found SMEP is too much for my OH, the pressure gets to him. This cycle I haven't mentioned it's my fertile week and so far we've managed every other day which is decent.

I'm sure I've read online that more sex doesn't impact sperm count/quality - it's a myth. So if you can do every day - go for it ;)

And finally. I don't think I'll ever get preggers if we have to do it every other day!!!! Last did it Friday, and before that the Thursday before. It's lucky if it's once a week. Before I came off the pill maybe once a month. I have such a low libido getting going it's silly. (Once the microwave is turned on I heat up quick and ping in a minute!!!!) but DH is usually really tired during the week with his early morning starts (5am) but I know if I French kissed his face he would be in my pants in 10 seconds flat. Maybe that will be my approach and hope he doesn't get too suspicious. Lol

I caught up on today's activity just now and it has cheered me up no end. Loving the symptom chat and TMI - keep it up! I'm living vicariously through you guys while I'm still on AF. Weirdly I am now feeling a lot more at peace than I was at the end of the last cycle. Ready to start again on cycle 5! (Or 4 if you consider that we were totally clueless on timing for cycle 1!)

Sk1pper thanks for putting my mind at ease regarding opks, will stick with the ones I have they are the same as the link you posted - it is science after all and as long as I have been using them correctly, which I have then it should be fine Think I'm just looking for any reason why I have not conceived yet!

On that note, I am out for this cycle, AF has come spot on when FF said she would! My next test date is 15 November...

margo - no problem, I'd stick with the cheapies too otherwise you could spend a fortune. If I ever get a BFP on a pg test, I'll probably buy an expensive one just to back it up.

Was nice to have a bit of a lie in before my appointment. In true me fashion I'm literally over thinking it at the moment. OH is as casual as ever, making jokes which I can't find funny right now. I hope he isn't casual if the shit hits the fan during the appointment.

Good luck today Sk1pper making jokes is your OH's way of dealing with it I guess! Try to keep calm and ignore him!

They've put us forward to have tests - bloods, swabs, sperm etc - then we'll be referred.

Finally! She says endo will be picked up during the referral if I have it but she says it's extremely common and not to worry too much right now.

That's good news skip that's our next port of call. Dh bought himself with no prompt from me a sperm test off amazon. I did warn him home tests aren't generally accurate but he said it had good reviews. It only does count which he came out fine with.

My OH was horrified with regards to the sperm sample. My GP gave him a pot and said "and this is for your sample" and he said "urine yeah". The GP and I were just looking at him like wtf. I'm not sure why he said it, he knew full well what it entailed because he was joking but about it before the appointment. I think he's just having a bit of a wobble, particularly when she said e needs to get it to the lab within 30 mins and it needs to be warm.
