We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Someone talk me down but I'm symptom spotting got weird tummy pains all day, not like period pain. I don't have lower back pain. I get this every month before my period comes. My boobs are also still really painful - that has usually subsided by now.

I'm not testing, but I'm a little bit

And terrified of getting my hopes up as AF coming will just floor me

So now on CD 46 and no symptoms of AF, did a test this morning and it was a BFN! What's going ooon!

London here's what I posted on another thread. As you can see, I'm a lost cause when it comes to symptoms...

I've been feeling really heavy in the tummy and boobs. Weird niggly gassy pops and fizzing in my tummy. A few little spots on my chin (and I NEVER get spots) DH commented quite sweetly there might be a baby in there (and as much as I wish that were true I know it's not)

Temps have been high, but I've put that down to me not feeling 100% and sorry TMI I've had non-urgent diarrhea and all the feelings with that also. Also another reason I think my gassy belly is just that. Gas.

But if I needed to be reminded that AF is on her way my temp crashed through the floor this morning. Ah well, I just wish she would turn up now so I can start the cycle again of doubt and hope.

Oh and then this morning I saw a single magpie, and a guy who smelt so bad of wacky backy and tobacco sat next to me on the tram to work. So I arrived with a massive headache.

Does anyone else want to top my poop day hahaha.

Mouse you were supposed to talk me down oh sod it we can compare notes instead. Heavy tummy and boobs - yes me too and boobs hurt more than usual. No difference in nipples though and I always see bfpers mention the nipple. I've got non-urgent diarrhoea too but I always get that before my period so not unusual. I've got funny tummy pains that are not period pain... and no backache is the weirdest.

My AF is kinda due Friday. If I guess that I'm gonna have a 28 day cycle. Of course. I'm just hoping I'm normal.

Today, no poops as yet and lots of uncomfortable feelings in my tummy. This is probably a weird thing to compare it to, but I feel like I need a morning wee. Haha!! But I don't need a wee... well I've been going more than usual.

I'm another one with AF due any day but feeling slightly different. Very bloated and I don't usually get much bloating but no boob soreness which everyone seems to mention so think I'm just clutching at straws! Fingers crossed we get some BFPs between us!

Oooh fingers crossed for all with symptoms coming up to testing time! I think we (I) could do with some BFPs to bring out the PMA again!

Been away from the thread for a few days as usual over AF - nice to have some headspace now and again! Back to feeling positive about it all now and relaxed that a BFP will happen at some point. In the meantime there's plenty of stuff to enjoy

Hoping the symptom spotters amongst you are going to be our next crop of good news - the sore boobs and lack of usual premenstrual aches and pains is especially exciting

For the spreadsheet records, my long cycles mean my next test date isn't until 14th November. Boring!

I'm just so uncomfortable today. The bloating is beyond silly now. I feel full yet heavy yet hungry right now it's bloody confusing. I know it's in my head unfortunately. Roll on Friday. (When I will probably be nipping to the loo every 5 mins and then freaking out when AF probably doesn't show up)

Hello hello I'm 10dpo today and I think AF is due Sunday or Monday. Obviously I decided to POAS tonight (not even first urine, just wanted to do it haha) and got a BFN.
I've had pains in my abdomen different to period cramps, very bloated & been pretty gassy and poppy feelings in my tummy.
Oh well it was a twin pack of tests so I promise myself I won't use the other one until I actually have a reason to!
Just wanted to come and vent because my DH would think I was crazy if I told him I'd tested today or had been symptom spotting!

Ooh ooh ooh!!!! Can I join in? Think AF is on her way!!!!!

OMG so I'm in the car on the way home from work with DH. I said to him maybe I should pop to the supermarket to pick up a test for tomorrow/Friday. His response you can't have got pregnant yet we didn't DTD enough, just leave it another month and if you still haven't had AF then test then.

Yes because I'm going to wait until I'm a whole four weeks late to consider doing a test!

Youoweme - sorry AF got you. I love how dedicated you are already, I didn't start using opks until cycle 7 or 8 but I think in hindsight I wish I'd started much earlier so good luck to you!

Kwick - hows your itchiness today? Are you 100% sure its stress? I'm wondering, if ingredients have changed in a product your using (shower gel, skin cream etc) it could all be due to allergies.

Margo - the cheap opks and the cheap pg tests are 100% accurate, if you've got the ones I buy from Amazon then they are the product that is supplied to the NHS - so they have to be! A lot of scare stories you hear of them not working are literally because people don't know how to use them correctly, as long as you thoroughly read the instructions and handle them in the correct way, you can be sure of the result you are getting.

Hi im back. I had to stay away the last couple of weeks as i havent been coping well with last months BFN which coincided with my friends pregnancy announcement. I had a really teary week and i was physically aching for a baby. This week the feeling is still there but im behaving like a normal human again at least some of the time.

Im now cd13. Im freaked out by no cervical mucus this month or last. Ive started taking my temperature this month & ive always used cheap opks every cycle but im terrible with them and always think they look positive

Good luck at the doctor skipper!! I can't believe how excited about the arrival of AF! Its been so long!!

Sorry about the pg bomb. Don't panic about lack of ewcm, mine wasn't always noticeable. It can easily vary.

I didnt realise there would come a time in my life when i would excitedly check my underwear. Half a month a check for ewcm & the other half im making sure af isnt arriving funny isnt it that you always assume you will defy the odds and be pregnant the minute you first jump in bed with hubby
