Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

I agree with you all re autumn babies. DP and I actually disagree on it as I suggested we hold off TTC in October to avoid an August baby - primarily for school and sport reasons.

He disagrees and said you can opt for younger children to join the next school intake to get around that issue but I'm not sure that's actually possible.
Either way, I'd just prefer an autumn baby. Maybe because all our family birthdays fall Oct Jan so it's what I'm used to?

I guess everyone has their preferences. A lot of people avoid December but I think a Christmas birthday is lovely!

InspectorPenguin · 07/10/2016 19:54

Hang on, it's November we'd need to avoid for an August baby, not October!

sk1pper · 07/10/2016 20:27

I'm an August baby and schooling can be tough but for me it was a confidence thing. Everyone putting it into your head that youre a year behind so it's okay if you fail. If I have an August kid, I won't even mention it.

LondonJem · 08/10/2016 00:01

I wouldn't mind a summer baby apart from being heavily pregnant when it's hot must be tough. To be honest I'd take anything now in reality. When we started I remember wondering if we should pause in March to avoid a Christmas baby. Little did I know I'd probably be still be plugging away at Christmas!

In any case, my birthday is 6 days before Christmas and I've always loved it!

InspectorPenguin I've been naughty and not even tracked my ovulation this "cycle" since I still haven't had my bleed coming off the pill. Today was only day 22 and I doubt it was anything but a niggly pain, we haven't really DTD much, last time was 8 days ago. Well... not including tonight Wink twice. WinkWink haha. I'm sure I'll get my AF pretty soon, I've been temping this week and my temp is quite low.

MouseLove · 08/10/2016 07:29

See.. go home thermometer, you're drunk!!!

Mouse - LOL that's funny, I think it's to do with the fact you only have four temps so far, and also today is a dodgy temp as its not filled in

SnarkyGorgon · 08/10/2016 08:02

I'm out. Onto cycle 11.

Musicgrrl · 08/10/2016 08:02

Mouse yes that jump looks too big even for ovulation!

Argh I'm still waiting for AF. I'm either 19 dpo or 14 dpo depending on how you interpret my chart (I had two temp rises and no +ve OPKs to go by although my darkest OPKs were on 16/17 Sept). But quite clearly I have BFNs! Any thoughts ladies? From my googling it does seem that some people do just have a late period every so often - as late as 20-24 dpo so I guess I just need to wait it out. It's tough though because I have been expecting AF since 10 dpo because that was how long my LP was last cycle!

Musicgrrl · 08/10/2016 08:03

Now with chart!

Oh no snarky, so sorry to hear that. Hope you have something nice to do this weekend to take your mind off it FlowersWineChocolate

HepKestrel · 08/10/2016 08:07

So sorry snarky I had my hopes for you. Treat yourself this weekend Flowers though maybe wait till this evening for the Wine

WantingBaby1 · 08/10/2016 08:23

Thanks for the welcome ladies :)

Mouse you asked about my experiences of coming off cerelle. I didn't have any periods on it so didn't know what to expect when I came off. I had nothing for weeks, about 5. By about week 3 I had a whole host of pregnancy type symptoms - tender boobs, nipples, stomach pain etc. This lasted a couple of weeks and was so bad i couldnt stand to have the shower or bed sheets on my boobs, never mind anything else! Then in the final 2 days before AF I had back and stomach pain, like what I remember period pain being. AF arrived on Monday and was pretty much gone by Thursday. Here's hoping I get a regular cycle back soon! Smile

LondonJem · 08/10/2016 08:29

Sorry snarky hope you're okay BrewFlowersChocolate

MouseLove · 08/10/2016 09:27

Haha yeah I'm either coming down with something or last nights DTD has given me a flush. Grin I think I'm pretty close to AF coming tbh.

Thanks WantingBaby that's good to know your cycles eventually came back!! And urgh for the symptoms that must have been horrible. Thankfully my boobs are as numb as they've always been hahahaha Blush and my back problems are long standing so there's no symptoms I can even imagine over here. (Damn it)

I'm off to pop some paracetamol for my old lady hips and staying in my pjs today until I have to leave the house. Grin

MouseLove · 08/10/2016 09:28

Oh NO snarky!!!!! CakeWineChocolateFlowers

MouseLove · 08/10/2016 09:29

Oh and music.... your chart to me says totally preggers. You should have some dips when af is coming?? No dips on that bad boy. Maybe try a different test? Something more sensitive?

MouseLove · 08/10/2016 09:36

Sorry... keep pressing post before I'm finished haha

Also.... f you fertility friend, jeeze this is harsh... you think they could word it or design it to be a bit less in your face. (See pic)

Thanks everyone. Really not coping very well. Good luck to everyone due to test this week, think I might have to disappear for a while. Sorry x

InspectorPenguin · 08/10/2016 10:41

Sorry Snarky. Hope you have some weekend treats planned to cheer you up?

Very odd about your temps, Music. Given you've tested quite a bit already I guess it's a case of waiting it out. Must be massively frustrating for you though. Fingers crossed you're one of the ones that doesn't show as a BFP until later than normal!

I'm pushing my test date back from tomorrow to Tues if AF not arrived by then. My positive OPK was two Mondays ago so I wouldn't be 14 DPO until Monday or Tuesday. Can't be bothered seeing more tauntingly snowy white tests unless I really have to.

sk1pper · 08/10/2016 11:12

snarky - please don't go! It's tough but you are better off here with people who understand. Lots of chocolate, cake, wine and cheese is in order.

music - what an interesting chart, I think you ovulated when FF has predicted though. You can get a post ovulation dip before it rises again. The end of your chart looks extremely promosing as your temps have risen again....oooooh fx

InspectorPenguin · 08/10/2016 11:41

Flowers Flowers Snarky.
Take time out if you need but also know you can vent as much as you like on here - there's a lot of understanding and support for you x

Starmist · 08/10/2016 12:09

Sorry Snarky FlowersChocolateCakeWine look after yourself xx

LondonJem · 08/10/2016 14:05

Take care snarky come back when you're ready BrewFlowersChocolate

AlexiaB · 08/10/2016 14:55

Lol Mouse that is a crazy temp rise! Did you temp at a later time? Drink loads of alcohol? What happened lol

Music your chart is so interesting! I still can't pinpoint Ov 100% since it's not proper BBT, but your temps are still sky high! Have you tested recently?

Sorry snarkyFlowers Take care and come back when you feel strongerFlowers
