Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Flowers silver

HepKestrel · 06/10/2016 21:12

kwick I hope your travels are OK. My flight is still late. Still waiting. Won't get home till 1am I think..... Zzzzz

sk1pper · 06/10/2016 21:20

Sorry silver Flowers

This is really random but isn't the transformation of Pete Burns an absolute fucking tragedy:

MouseLove · 06/10/2016 21:43

Wowzers Sk1pper that's a lot you take!!! How on earth do you keep up!? I'd say cut down on everything. Take the minimum, and take whatever you plan on taking everyday. I wouldn't think switching is doing your body any good. Of course I could be completely and utterly wrong on this. It just looks like too much.

Si1ver sorry about AF. Sending CakeWineChocolate

Musicgrrl · 06/10/2016 22:07

Sorry silver Flowers stupid AF!

MrsG280516 · 06/10/2016 22:17

Sorry si1ver fx for next cycle Flowers

geeup · 06/10/2016 23:21

Sk1p - I was a bit similar. Did pregnacare (or another multivitamin for ttc) and fish oil every day, plus epo period to ovulation, then vit b complex and iron ovulation till period. Did that for a year and nothing so dropped to just folic acid and vit d every day since July. Sometimes I think we have to stop blaming ourselves - we're not "not pregnant" because we have bad diets or we're deficient. It just hasn't happened yet for some reason. It's not our fault. That's my latest mantra theory anyway.

sk1pper · 06/10/2016 23:58

geeup - you are of course bang on the money, I just feel like I'm doing something this way and it makes me feel fractionally better. Tonight I took all of it, including vitamin b6 which I didn't need, all in one go. Why the fuck I did that I don't know but I've been wired since 6pm. It's not all bad though, been listening to some 90s club anthems. Hmm

I was hoping s1lver would have a sneaky BFP today, I feel like it's about time we had another on here to lift everyone's spirits.

geeup · 07/10/2016 00:11

I totally understand sk1p. I will literally try anything for 3-6 months at a time! Definitely no judgement from me. I always feel more positive when I'm trying something new.

Starmist · 07/10/2016 06:07

Sorry Silver WineChocolate

I took quite a few tablets but have dropped it all this month, just taking seven seas trying for a baby. It made me feel good to take them before, like I was doing something to help but they're all quite expensive & haven't done anything so far so I thought sod it why bother.

I've still got these stabbing/stretching feelings low on my left side. I think I had these feelings in the 2ww in an earlier cycle tho so trying not to think it means anything.

sk1pper · 07/10/2016 07:50

Fx for you, it can be a pg sign but we're all in the dark as we don't know what our key pg symptoms are yet.

Happy Friday everyone!

Musicgrrl · 07/10/2016 08:20

Hi wanting - know I'm a bit late to the party on this but re alcohol, in my first cycle I was really good and also didn't drink in the tww but since that I have progressively returned to normal drinking which for me is 4/5 small glasses of wine a week. I figured if it was going to take a year to conceive I didn't want to be sober all the way through it!

kwick · 07/10/2016 08:24

Hep I give them all to my SIL who uses them at the gym... although I di have a mahoosive stock pile of Bulgari soap...

Inspector remember: don't trust the boobs!!!

Margo itchiness on feet has lessened but on palms back with a vengenance... I think it might be stress related Hmm
I am back in Blighty!!! Have a jam packed day ahead in the office but its Friday!!!!!

Welcome wanting!!

London sorry to hear your Granny is unwell Flowers

Sorry si1ver Flowers

Hep hope you made it back ok. I got home at 8pm. So nice to sleep in my own bed.

sk1pper you should see my supplement list!!! However you may want to read "it starts with the egg" because there you get very precise advice including times of day to take stuff.

Margo5 · 07/10/2016 08:36

Sorry about AF Si1ver
London I hope your grandma feels better soon
Wanting I use cheap OPKs and they work for me, I agree with HepKestrel use them each day on your first cycle so you definitely catch ovulation!
Inspector and Starmist let's hope our vivid dreams are a good sign! Starmist I'd have been upset if Justin had chosen the girl next to me too, how cruel!
Kwick shame you now have itchy palms, but doesn't that mean you are going to come into money? Hope so!
Not much to report at 7dpo, had some twinges in my tummy yesterday but could have been trapped wind!!! Vitamin wise, I am keeping it simple with folic acid, but used to take the seven seas conception ones. Sk1pper your list is epic, maybe I should re-evaluate...

MouseLove · 07/10/2016 08:42

I don't know what it is about the weekend approaching that my body doesn't like. My back is still really bad but it's so stiff today. I'm at a conference all day sat on a pokey chair. MEH!!! It's CD22 for me today and I've had belly ache this whole damn time. Temp was really low so I'm hoping AF really does turn up soon. Preferably not today though lol

Everyone have a great Friday!! Cake

LondonJem · 07/10/2016 08:56

Morning all BrewBrewThanks for your thoughts girls Flowers at 92 my gran is not long for this world, but for the time being she seems to be rallying so we've got to enjoy the time we still have with her. She's an amazing woman Smile

Skipper I would cut back to just the pregnacare - that's got everything you need. Ten months in and all I take is the seven seas trying for a baby.

Sorry silver better luck next cycle

Kwick I hope you have some down time coming up Confused

I've got funny tummy pains today too, got a bit of a lie in as I'm working from home, and I'm lying here wondering what this discomfort is praying it's implantation. Most likely some dodgy digestion going on Hmm

MrsG280516 · 07/10/2016 09:39

Sounds promising LondonJem how many dpo are you?

sk1pper · 07/10/2016 09:56

So many of you with good strong symptoms, I feel like we may get a BFP soon. There's that buzz in the air :)

margo - well you could add a few more things but I've just cut all mine back now, it's probably detrimental and tbh it was all getting a bit silly. Just having my pregnacare today as per londons advice and maybe the bee propolis as it helps with inflammation and severe cramping.

london - 92 is an amazing age, what's her secret?

LondonJem · 07/10/2016 10:01

I'm 8 DPO. Not at all hopeful! Expecting AF will be along next week. Just can't see it happening.

But yes we are due one I'm sure one will be along soon!

Gran - I have no idea how she does it! She's from a generation that drank less alcohol and ate lots of vegetables? She's also very stoical and resilient Smile

HepKestrel · 07/10/2016 10:12

got home past midnight.
GrumpyOldCat fast asleep on my pillow. Unfortunately he woke up, so after sorting out food and drink for him, cleaning litter tray, didn't get to bed till 1am. Of course the bugger didn't agree that i could have a lie in, and demanded 1st, 2nd and third breakfasts this morning.

recovering from a cold too...

This friday is sponsored by COFFFFFFEEEEEEEE Brew

SnarkyGorgon · 07/10/2016 10:42

Still no news from me Inspector boobs still making their presence known, but other than that, nada. Wondering if last month's CP might be messing with my cycle- I am usually really consistent. My self control faltered last night and I used a frer- BFN. No idea what is going on.

Really sorry about AF Si1ver

Can't believe how many supplements you're taking Sk1p, I'm just taking folic acid these days, but have sort of cycled through lots of the conception concoctions. Just trying to eat lots of good veggies and pineapple and walnuts etc now, it's cheaper!!

LondonJem · 07/10/2016 11:03

Ooh snarky glad no AF still, do you feel like she's coming? Hope she stays well away!

Musicgrrl · 07/10/2016 11:07

Jem FX for you! Hopefully you've got a bean developing.

Snarky don't lose hope yet! If AF doesn't show it might be worth doing a test with FMU in a day or so.

InspectorPenguin · 07/10/2016 11:11

Happy Friday ladies!

Glad your grandma is improving Jem, I agree it's all about enjoying the time we have with our elderly/ill relatives - time together is a very precious gift indeed.

I'm working from home today too and trying desperately to focus on all the spreadsheets I need to do instead of analysing my body and worrying about infertility Hmm.

Sorry about AF Silver. Onwards, upwards and try and do something lovely and indulgent over the weekend Flowers.

Mouse hope your back eases up during the day. I had a 2 month spell with the worst back pain last year after straining something in a very intense gym class. It's a nightmare to cope with so you have my sympathy.

Fingers crossed your stretching sensation is implantation related Star. I've read lots of posts where people mention them but have no idea what it would feel like.

Hep you must be knackered! Are you in the office today? It's impossible to actually be cross with the furballs though isn't it? The manipulative buggers.

Kwik I take my hat off to you and your work routine. In my job I work very closely with HR and have had a number of trips to Europe to deal with 'situations' in the past. The HR leads always had the most stressful roles and I was in awe with how they kept their energy and concentration up. I hope you get a chance to chill and recover over the weekend.

Sorry you're in the dreaded no man's land Snarky. Do you temp? Could there be a chance you've ovulated a bit later than you thought? Hope you find out soon as I know you've had a tough couple of months with it all. Have you got anything nice planned for the weekend to cheer you up a bit?

On a separate note, did I imagine it or was someone on this thread going to try pippetting this cycle or last? Am I going crazy?! DP and I were talking about it in the pub last night and he's really keen to give it a go after speaking to some lesbian friends who had it work first time on two occasions.
I don't know whether to agree or not - mostly because of how weird it would be for any future children to find out that's how they were conceived. I'd be bound to let it spill accidentally at some point Grin

He's totally up for getting a SA done though, so I'm going to get him booked in next week. Looking forward to having that question mark dealt with at least.

Right, back to these spreadsheets....

LondonJem · 07/10/2016 11:29

Oh god! A friend just text me to tell me about the pink tutu dress she's got for her one year olds birthday party and I just totally lost it. Like heaving sobs crying! Shock I haven't cried like that in years!

I thought I was coping with all this okay but it must be getting to me and I'm just getting better at bottling it up Sad

Very glad I'm working from home and can sob unadulterated!

Penguin I think alexia was trying pippetes?
