Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

music down to 36.6 when has been at 36.8 and higher

Si1ver · 05/10/2016 11:25

15 dpo Music so I suspect that the stress of waiting has delayed my period rather than anything else.

Musicgrrl · 05/10/2016 11:29

winging 0.2deg isn't too much of a drop but I guess it depends on where your cover line is. I had a small drop today too so wondering whether AF will be with me tomorrow.

silver I wonder the same thing about my cycles - whether me stressing about them being weird makes them more weird! I guess that's why some people seem to have the most luck on the month that they aren't too worried about it and aren't actively trying. Wish we could trick our bodies!

AlexiaB · 05/10/2016 11:44

Pug baby bombs are the worst. Hope you're having a better day today Flowers

Kwick hope you found some relief for your itchy feet, ouch!

Skipper don't worry about having a little moan or rant. We all have our down moments (I certainly have on here recently) but we're here to listen and support you the best we can. I'm interested to know what your sister's friend told you too. Oh and AF temps can be up and down for some people I've noticed, as long as they even themselves out after/before O it's fine.

Welcome Margo and sorry to hear about your mcFlowers

Hep could you put me down for 5th November please. Thanks for doing our listGrin

Inspector definitely don't be embarrassed about being a time waster, you pay your taxes! Push for it if you want to.

And yes... the spotting has turned into a light AF flow/break through bleed. I was actually relieved to wake up and see blood in my pants! Is this really what it's come to?Confused Can't quite believe it. It feels like a massive waste of 46 days, when I never even had a chance at a baby. I've been trying to rationalise with DH this morning that not EVERY month (when I wasn't temping) was annovulatory. I do usually get heavy periods for 2 days, then medium flow the 3rd&4th day and then it's always light/gone on the 5th day. I'm anxious to see if this 'AF' looks any different. This time last year we were in Toronto and New York having the time of our lives. Never could have imagined a year later this is where we'd be. I even remember saying "this time next year we won't be on holiday because I'll be pregnant". Idiot!

AlexiaB · 05/10/2016 11:47

Wing I second what Music said, one temp can't tell you much but you'll know tomorrow whether it bounces back up or not. I also second what Skipper said about charting with Fertility Friend, Ovia doesn't give you a coverline etc.

Music how are you?

Silver hope you get out of limbo-land soon. It's a horrible place to be.

geeup · 05/10/2016 12:40

Hi all hep pls can you put me down for the 28th October please? Seems soooooo long away!!

SnarkyGorgon · 05/10/2016 16:23

AF due today or tomorrow. Have been poking myself in the boobs almost continually for the past 48hours. Gargh!

AlexiaB · 05/10/2016 16:35

DH's sperm analysis is all booked in for Monday at 12.30 eeek! I booked it myself and just told him when and whereGrin his reply... "thank you for booking it" aww

geeup · 05/10/2016 16:46

Well done alexia. Hope it's good news and you can tick that box off the list.

Musicgrrl · 05/10/2016 16:49

Alexia glad you're starting another cycle now. Definitely put the last one behind you and chalk it up to experience! And know that you're that much more prepared for this one now that you're temping. And great that you have a SA booked!

I am okay. Been working from home today and it has given me too much time to dwell. Feel like I am wishing away time to my next temp reading to find out what is going on. That's now way to live! Fortunately I have plans tomorrow night and am very busy this weekend so I have things to keep me occupied after today.

Snarky FX for you and keep us posted!!

SnarkyGorgon · 05/10/2016 16:59

Thanks Music! You too! I hate this part of the tww, I never learn either. Do not trust the boobs!

Well done Alexia, hope it goes well and you get some answers

sk1pper · 05/10/2016 17:13

winging - it's all about the cover line, has it gone below it? I'm like an age old sage now...I've only done a months worth of temps ffs. Anyway, mine was a complete plummet, your drop seems just a fraction?

alexia - I'm glad AF has made an appearance, at least you know where you stand now and can roll on the next (and hopefully shorter) cycle. I know what you mean about "this time last year" chats, I really didn't think I'd have to be thinking about 2017 campaigns at work. Stupid stupid.

I will try and get on my computer tonight for those of you who were interested. I can remember some of what she said but it's easier to type from my computer than mobile.

My mums coming over tonight, I am going to grill her with questions. I'm amazed she never linked he condition to infertility, I guess times have changed massively and were a lot more informed now. Also Google helps Grin. I hope I don't get upset in front of her though, feel quite grounded today and non-hormonal so fx.

kwick · 05/10/2016 17:49

Welcome margo!

Thanks for all the foot suggestions Grin

Alexia sorry about AF Flowers now comes joy of a new cycle

Had an absolutely exhausting day and still have 2 more work calls to make... best go and do those.

sk1pper · 05/10/2016 17:56

I thought mine was particularly helpful kwick.

Also bee propolis smells and tastes like death. I don't know whether to throw up or cry. Or both. Capsule split before I could swallow it.

LondonJem · 05/10/2016 18:05

Skipper that's totally bizarre about that GP not being able to discuss periods and sex. Kind of goes against the job description?!

Equally inspector it's awful your GP made you feel like that. Are you thinking you might try and see someone else? You seemed quite philosophical and happy to carry on trying to conceive naturally, I don't think there harm in seeing how that goes for another couple of months.

Hello margo sorry to hear about your mc Flowers hope it's not until your next BFP

Fx snarky!

Great news on SA alexia fx for nice normal results. Better luck for this cycle

Good luck with Mum chats tonight skipper

LondonJem · 05/10/2016 18:06

Not long until your next BFP - that should have read, sorry margo

AlexiaB · 05/10/2016 19:17

Thanks everyone! I'm not even religious but I'm praying for good results so that at least one of us is normal.

Skipper hope the chat with your mum goes smoothly and you get all the info you need.

Music glad you have some nice plans to keep you busy and take your mind off all this ttc malarkey.

Kwick hope you've made the calls and are now chillingSmile

LSFX snarky!

Musicgrrl · 05/10/2016 19:53

I've just realised that my temp tomorrow will probably not tell me anything useful because I had a flu jab today. Reckon it'll be higher than it would normal. This is like doing a science experiment!!

kwick · 05/10/2016 19:57

Yes sk1pper yours was particularly helpful Hmm
Don't throw up - you will have to take again!!!
Good luck with your mummy.

Alexia calls all done, I am chilling in front of TV - praise the Lord the hotel has BBC1 - so I can watch GBBO live!!!! What a treat!

Tomorrow is another yuckfest - first meeting is at 7.30am...

Chat with mum was good, no tears - we really didn't go into too much depth. All I know is that she was diagnosed with it at the age of 33 but she chose to have her hysterectomy because it was causing intensely heavy periods and she'd had two kids by that point. She said they never told her she couldn't have any more kids, it was just a method to stop the symptoms.

Also, she had difficulty conceiving me and my sister but she didn't temp, OPK or do any of the stuff I'm doing - I'm hoping I stand a much better chance. Also she said my nan was diagnosed with it but she had no trouble conceiving her three kids, and the third was such a shock she hit my grandfather repeatedly with a saucepan. Hmm

She says I should go to the docs though because like you girls were saying, times have changed and there's better treatment now. I can't put up with this 3/27 days of my cycle.

I've also done so much research, I can now make some additional lifestyle changes to help it. Even if I don't have it, the changes will be positive anyway. Still not sure about the bee spit though, I've had to hide it in my cupboard - can't stand the sight of the bottle right now.

kwick - are all your expenses paid? See if you can pilfer some shower gels, soap etc. Lol - or is that just me?

music - that's a good possibility, make sure you make a note of it so you remember later down the line

hep - thanks for the list update, lots of people for the 9th!

HepKestrel · 05/10/2016 22:40

Sounds like it was a good talk skipper

Last day of my trip tomorrow. Should get home about midnight, at which point I will be giving GrumpyOldCat a cuddle and then straight to bed.

sk1pper · 05/10/2016 22:56

Good trip overall? Nothing beats your own bed though. Your cat sounds like a character - even if he is old and grumpy. Mines currently accessorising my head like a hat whilst I lie in bed.

kwick · 06/10/2016 06:18

That is the spirit sk1pper!!!
I think you will find that the hotels expect you to use/take the shampoos and so on and it is not considered stealing Grin

Slept so badly last night... I am so stressed about a work issue right now but one which now is out of my hands... I have another jam packed day but at least I am home tonight.

Best if luck for those coming up to POAS!!!!

HepKestrel · 06/10/2016 06:27

skipper yes he certainly is a character! Used to be a big hunter cat.... Rabbits, pigeons... He also likes stealing my pillow. I wake up in the name the night to find him curled behind my head. If I dare move he gets grumpy..... He is deaf and can't miaow so of he is desperate to get my attentions he swipes at me! He is old now.... He has his own weekly pill organiser for all his drugs!!!

Am looking forward to own bed.
