Kwik that looks pretty itchy and sore. Have you got a good cream to put on? I find Eurax cream very good at soothing insect bites and other irritations.
Jem No I didn't have any bloods done. He said "Six months is only six attempts to get pregnant
, that's nothing. Come back in the new year if you're still trying then" and sent me on my way with a flea in my ear.
I don't want to go back and see anyone else really as I left feeling pretty embarrassed and I don't want to get a bad rep as a time waster.
I shall follow your journey very closely though and maybe do the tests privately in Jan if no news by then.
Winging I don't know much about temping but even I know that chart looks pretty promising. Fingers crossed for you!
Sk1pper I'm glad you're feeling more positive today but can completely understand why it threw you so much. And sorry to hear your periods are so awful; that must make things so much harder.
Hope you see some improvement and are feeling better soon.
Alexia Hope you find your way out of no man's land soon. Has spotted turned into proper AF yet to start your next cycle proper?
Mouse I am 36 next month - you are a youngster! You've only been off the pill 20 days, honestly that's nothing. Having cramps for a while after is very normal too. When I stopped taking it (after 18 years!) I felt crampy and nauseous for the best part of a month, if not longer.
My first cycle was 38 days, it eventually got down to 31, and now seems back up at around 35. Annoying as I was very reliably 28 days as a teenager and this means each cycle really drags....
Welcome Margo! I too am picturing Penelope Keith :)
Very sorry to hear about your MC, but I would definitely take getting a BFP in month 3 to be a good sign. I know that must sound like hollow reassurance when you've been through that though. Best of luck for the rest of your journey.
Not a lot to report from Inspector Towers. CD30 and somewhere between 7-9 DPO (assuming ovulation happened!). Have had my standard pre-AF mild cramps and spots appearing on my face.
I had the most epic night sweats on Monday which were pretty gross. Everything on the bed was soaked and I felt like I'd just had a shower in my own glandular excretions.
Anyway, a bit of research suggests it's very normal to sweat in the luteal phase as the BBT is higher, but severe sweating is linked to age-related hormone imbalances. Wonderful!
And on that note I'd better get on with some work. Hope you all have a good day!
