Hugh enjoys ISW and his love affair with Doreen. He watches out for skittle tits and weepyitis. Mrs Arseholey Fucknut (Af) shows up when you least want her but brings wine and soft cheese as a consolation prize.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind and well meaning but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly don't convince yourself you're pregnant in the tww That is paramount! It messes with your head and makes you crazy crazier

We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts. We want a fanny full of determined Doreen, not unicorn farts and gnome tears with extra sparkle. We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area.

Post your stats and add your dates. A more lovely, supportive group of ladies you couldn't wish to meet. We like it when the grads stick around. No question is too daft. We have opk experts, cervical mucus management teams and symptom spotters extraudinaire!

Morning Music first morning was a bit of a laugh. I woke up at 3am and though AH SHIIIIIT. So I tempted at 3am and 7am when my alarm went off and just took an average lol. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get it bang on at 5am and won't wake up early.
First temp 36.11

WingingIt83 · 04/10/2016 08:27

I also woke up early so did two temps this morning! My second is always lower than my second. 36.99 at 4.30 and 36.83 at 6.30

MouseLove · 04/10/2016 08:35

Oooo winging it. You're hawt. WinkGrin
It's going to be interesting seeing the line grow. Last night I was getting around the 36.81/36.36 mark so I'm guessing it will go up during the day. Interesting!!

WingingIt83 · 04/10/2016 09:06

mouse this is the highest I've ever been, my pre ov temp was about 36.2. Feeling a bit sicky today so I'm a bit concerned I've got a cold coming on

1 day until AF due....

LondonJem · 04/10/2016 09:57

Wow you girls can chat! Wink trying to catch up...

Great work on the list hep getting us ducks in a row. I can't wait for the next BFP Grin

Hello moose glad to hear all is going well and baby moose is settling in well

Sorry AF got you geeup and about the rubbish clinic Sad are the scans booked in now?

Acupuncture chat - I've just finished a 5 week course, it cost me £50 a session too. I found it deeply relaxing, I drifted off and dreamed crazy dreams with the needles in and when it finished I felt like I floated down the road. He put needles in my feet, lower legs, lower tummy and one between my eyes. I don't know if or how it helps but it was totally worth it to bring my stress levels down.

Kwick good news on your left tube, that procedure sounds tough. Hope you're feeling better now. Yes no starky for a while, is she having her baby soon? Also Kat hasn't been around for aaaaages, and I've also thought of snow

Amazing temping advice alexia if I ever try it I will revisit this

Alice I always get EWCM a day or two before positive OPK. This month it was 2 days before. Hope you are enjoying fertile week Wink

Hello inspector, agree on talking about TTC more! It might not be such a shock to discover it can take such a long time. I'm 5 DPO today so yes our cycles are now very close. Hope the TWW is treating you well Smile

Hurrah on Rome mouse! I'm 33 in December - high five on turning 33

Hugs skipper, that's a lot to take in. Try not to jump to conclusions if you can - I know it's hard not to. What's the next steps with your GP?

LSFX winging!

Sorry everything has posted twice Blush if this thread isn't moving quickly enough Grin

Errrrrrrm DH appointment yesterday - he saw the 'fertility specialist' GP at our practice. She wasn't overly concerned by his results at all. Said 4% morphology is considered normal so 2% is not that far off. She has ordered a repeat test and she wants to see me to start investigations. The soonest appointment I could get was 20 October. The waiting starts...

InspectorPenguin · 04/10/2016 10:19

Jem how did your DH's appointment go?

InspectorPenguin · 04/10/2016 10:21

Oops, cross post :)

Glad they weren't too concerned about it and glad you are going to get seen too; at least if this cycle doesn't get your BFP you know things are being done. So much better than the brush off I got! Angry

LondonJem · 04/10/2016 10:23

Have you got bloods done or anything inspector? I'd be tempted to see someone else.

Yes definitely a feeling of if when AF arrives I'll have the upcoming GP appointment to fall back on. Will be nice and emotional too, to give her the full weight of our plight!

Binkybunny13 · 04/10/2016 10:26

Skipper, how are you doing today? So sorry, must have been an awful shock- but please try to remember that it's only information about your mums experience- you are a different person, plus healthcare is very different now to 30 years ago. Hold on in there, and vent to us whenever you need to
Flowers

Kwick- how are you feeling? Glad you treated yourself Smile

Positive news Londonjem that things are moving forwards for you

Binkybunny13 · 04/10/2016 10:29

Sorry for duplicate post! Also, kwick great thinking about doing OPKs in parallel! I have one IC left so will do that today

(Great to have you guys to help think things through when I get daft!)

AlexiaB · 04/10/2016 12:53

Music you'd get a more accurate chart with a BBT thermometer. I think there's a big difference between 36.31 and 36.39 for example, so I like to see exactly what the temp is! Obviously what you have is much better than nothing so don't stress, just see if you can get your hands on one.

Jem that's reassuring about your DH's results. You must be pleased they're doing a repeat analysis. Great news about your GP appointment too!

I've noticed some spotting today. It's barely noticeable, but at this point (cd45) I'll take AF and move on. It is worrying that I haven't ovulated but hopefully it's just a one off and I'll ovulate again next month Hmm I'd honestly be going mad if I hadn't temped this cycle. It's kept me calm and informed about what's actually going on in there!

Flashinthepan · 04/10/2016 16:56

Afternoon ladies. How's everyone getting on? I would like to start trying again but i think my ectopic messed everything up. I'm currently having one week of no bleeding for every three weeks of bleeding every month. And the dr did a standard blood test which came back normal, so that's it! Feeling frustrated that I still cannot move on 5 months later!

kwick · 04/10/2016 17:27

I agree Inspector and in the words if BT (from the 80s/90s) "Its good to talk"

Mouse Rome sounds lovely - I am sure you will have a fab time.

jelly sorry you were baby bombed... luckily for me most of my friends have had their kids already or are not planning to have any.

Mouse you post about getting it on made me laugh - the Dr yesterday told me no sex for a few days - I laughed hysterically and said the reason I was at the clinic was because I was not having ANY!!!!

sk1pper sorry that you are feeling low. My cousin was diagnosed with endometriosis after TTC for sometime - in the end she did IVF and now has two lovely little girls. I would recommend you see a Dr asap - but I strongly believe you still have a chance you just may need some help. Science/medicine is advancing every day.

Lovely words mouse

I have decided to invoke Murphy's Law by booking a holiday for next Easter Grin

jem glad you liked the acupuncture. I am trying to get booked in with the therapist my cousin used but so far have not been able to ring at the right time as either being rummaged with, in a meeting, or on a train/plane...

We defo need updates from starky snow and kat!!!!

kwick · 04/10/2016 17:31

Ok lets have NO more talk of being too old!!! Anyone else on this thread over 41? Did not think so!!

TBH I feel like shit. I feel tired and sore and I would do anything to sleep in my own bed tonight but I am on my way to Brussels for 2 days of meetings... Envy

flash maybe you need a second opinion? My friend had an eptopic that was managed "naturally" and she bled for ages too - but perhaps you can take hormones to help resolve. Non-MN hugs for you.

Going to see if I can book acupuncture before I hit the tunnel!!!

MouseLove · 04/10/2016 17:33

Kwick.... seeeeee I told you getting it on solves something. With yourself is totally acceptable too. WinkGrinGrinGrin

OP can be your own hand/insert item here.

LondonJem · 04/10/2016 18:51

Kwick I feel tired even thinking about your schedule. Defo book yourself some acupuncture. I've had mine at the Helix clinic on Warren St - recommend it.

Starmist · 04/10/2016 18:55

Skipper I'm sorry you're feeling so down Flowers I hope you're okay today. Hopefully you can find out soon what your situation is xx

sk1pper · 04/10/2016 19:55

I just want to say, so sorry for my completely uncool rant last night - I know that's not what this thread is about.

My only defence is that I have had the brood mother of all periods this month and its been draining me mentally and physically. In the last 48 hours I have passed what I can only describe as the Red Sea from between my legs. At one point I was convinced I was giving birth to a Satanic porcupine - the most chronically painful cramps I've had for years! I remember asking my OH on several occasions to put my out of my misery, instead he got me a multiple glasses of water.

Thanks to everyone for your messages, I've just read them and now I feel positive and ready to tackle the problem head on now. I have ordered some Bee Propolis and Vitamin E tablets, also I'm making significant changes to my diet which should hopefully help and then I've got the Doctor's appointment in a weeks time so will have to see what they say.

I've also had a quick look through everything I've missed - the thread is so active so sorry if I've missed something important:

Mouse - I remember you saying that your mother had an early menopause. Was it you who had the tests run for it? Sorry can't quite remember. Also, I hope you are enjoying temping, Alexia is literally the queen of temping so I'm sure you will find lots of help here if you need it.

London - Your appointment sounds positive, if they are not overly concerned it normally means they are not concerned at all (they are just covering themselves just incase). Sorry you have to wait so long though but at least you are on the right track.

Alexia - Sorry youre still waiting for AF, that is a long old cylce you've got going on there. Is there any correlation between non-ovulating cycles and the length?

kwick - Fair enough Kwick Grin - I wont freak out about nearly being 30 again. FYI - I don't think you're old. Old is bus-passes, stair lifts and pureed food.

Pugmummy87 · 04/10/2016 19:57

Wow, so much to try and catch up on. Thinking of those going through a crappy time right now.

I've just been baby bombed by an old school friend. I think nearly everyone in my school year now either has a child/ren or is pregnant (I went to school in an area that at the time had one of the highest teen pregnancy rates in the Uk at the time, a lot of people in my year had babies young!). I'm feeling increasingly sad about it all.

Re telling people about ttc. My mum and 2 friends and my work team know. None of DH'S family know. My work team know as we are all midwives and I knew I could confide in them. I've only told them recently.

MouseLove · 04/10/2016 20:14

Evening Sk1pper yes my mum started menopause at 40, but since she dropped that bombshell I quizzed her again and she said it was because she had a difficult time after having my sister at age 38 and had to have an ovary removed!!!! That triggered early menopause but it lasted till she was 52!!

No I haven't had any tests, for all I know it could all be dust down there! But since I'm 33 next month I'm suddenly thinking oh crap oh crap oh crap. BlushConfused
