Hi girls, can anyone help? my af was all finished by yesterday after just two days of bleeding. Is this normal? It usually lasts at least 4 days.

Hi nomoremagnolia. Were the two days as heavy/light as other periods or was the length the only thing different? Sometimes periods are just erratic.

..as for the White Diamond well, we have tried everything else haven't we?? My friend actually craved cider when she was pregnant with DS2; maybe there is something in it?

Same as usual - first day heavy (green tampax), second average (yellow tampax) 3rd expected to be normal (yellow again) but very light (pantyliner, not even worthy of the purple tampax!)
Normally green, green, yellow, purple, purple/pantyliner.

nomoremagnolia, that is funny about your period only last 2 days. Has it ever happened before? Or do you normally follow the same pattern month on month?? It's just (DISCLAIMERand I don't want to get your hopes up) that I have read that some women still have a monthly bleed during pregnancy but it is different to their normal period.

Scorpio, I did my first OPK today at 4.50. So long as you haven't had lots of water directly before hand, that time is ok I think. Mine was -ve too, but then I didn't think it wouldn't be.

Hi Ready - I don't think I am pg as got neg hpt on sat am (4hrs before af arrived) but af is usually very same-y from cycle to cycle. Also had usual stomach cramps etc associated with AF. Thanks for trying to be optimistic for me though!

UGH Diamond White is disgusting. Used to drink it at Uni and get pissed after 2 bottles. Mind you, that was a distinct advantage . Now it takes a whole bottle of wine Now what's everyone doing for V Day? We're going out next friday instead so tomorrow we're just going to get a takeaway washed down with some wine. I bought dh some heart shaped marshmallows as he's not into chocolates.

valentines day.we got each other a card and a couple of little gifts (chocs and teddy for me )

tonight we are going to our friends house because its their daughters 2nd birthday, so we are having birthday there. we are quite close to her, but we are going out for chinese new yr on friday so thats a sorta compromise for us

god, the af this time is horrible. i've managed to stain the bed as well as my nicest jeans. it's day 6 today, would normally be finished by day 3 or 4, and now the blood's black but still mucus-y iyswim. bleugh.

it's an even nicer day here! For the second time this week school has been closed because of electricity supply problems so an afternoon off for all again! (not so great for all the parents).

Well, had a lovely meal and some Cava and Chablis (very un-Peckham - my birthplace!)and now on the after dinner chocs. How are you lot?

happy valentine's day to all!! On my own as DH is in Crawley (how romantic), but nice surprise that he is coming home tomorrow instead on Friday as expected.

OPKs still ongoing and still very faint when testing. I must learn to throw them away though, I keep going back to it 1/2 hr after testing and see they have turned darker and think its a +ve. I guess I have not ovulated yet...cm today though but I am really bad at deciding if it is like egg white, whipped cream or whipped into a soft meringue . I really hope that if the OPKs are telling the truth I can hold out until DH gets back. Severe lack of BD this cycle!!

god morning ladies! CD12 for me today.i did an opk yesterday that had a faint +,but i asked a couple of the others (thanks londonlottie) and i think the line had to be a bit darker than it was.i'll keep you all up to date when i do one later!
