Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

I'm glad you'll stay with us- fingers crossed the bleeding ends soon and you're back on your ttc journey whenever you're ready

Mrs - I really am so sorry to read that. You sound like you have a really positive take on it all though, and I'm glad that there is some closure there for you.

I'm 7dpo today and need to get to the end of tomorrow in order for my LP to be longer... Again not overly fussed on bfp (would be nice) but just want a longer LP!

Thanks for asking everyone, I'm fine. Paid private to speed the initial consultant process up and now just waiting for a follow up appointment with him in the NHS system. He needs to sort out what tests we have and have already had but he thinks the bottom line will be clomid. Could be a couple of months until they are ready to start me on it though so just a waiting game now really!

So apparently today is my ovulation day, but I've been using OPKs since Saturday and they've all been various degrees of negative. The colour of the line has sometimes been darker but not dark enough to be classed as positive. I did have what I thought could be ovulation pain on Monday (CD10). I've never used OPKs before, is this normal? Does it mean I haven't actually ovulated yet? I promised my OH I wouldn't get obsessive about conceiving but that's gone out the window Confused

Purple, I'm just going on what the app I use has worked out for me to be honest, 26 day average cycle so it says today. I've always had regular cycles since having my DS who's 20months now. Even if it's no today this is my fw and the OPKs have all been negative. I've run out of them now so don't know whether to buy more or just dtd and wing it, that's what we did last time round

I would continue with the OPKs and see if you get a positive. Is this your first cycle ttc #2? The app is just calculating ovulation based on the 'average' woman. You might have a shorter LP than average. My LP last month was only 11 days.

No sign of AF...yet. I'm cd29 and 8dpo so nothing really to get excited about yet.
If AF just hangs off until the weekend then I will be happy!

I'm getting a little worried as I was having slight cramps since I got my bfp but everything seems to have settled down now so I'm not having any symptoms at all.... I'm 5 plus 3 today and nothing.

I had no symptoms until after 6 weeks when pregnant...beforehand, despite some cramps, I had nothing. Not even a sore boob or two! I think you'll be just fine

So no appearance of AF...we have avoided the 8 day LP! Hurrah! I'm sure AF will arrive tomorrow with avegeance though!
