Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

My LO is 6 months so again, not too devastated if bfn- she's still so young!

I just used OPKs last month loz and tried to DTD as often as possible. Unfortunately DH was unwell for the few days around my positive OPK so we didn't get the timing right at all. Hoping for more success this month!

What CD are you on purple? I'm on cd26 and boobs are feeling a tad tender...that could mean a million things- most probable is impending AF which would be a bit too soon as I really wanted the LP to be longer this time!

Not yet as I am only 5dpo. I think I'll test on Saturday or Sunday. I think it's a bit early for any preg symptoms so I'm leaning more towards AF...

Sonnet, implantation takes place any day between 6-12 dpo generally speaking. Apparantly average is 9dpo but this has never been the case for me. I must implant 8dpo at the latest.

Anyway what I'm trying to say is sore boobs might be a symptom of AF arriving but that's because any potential egg hasn't even implanted yet so your body is still running on its normal cycle. All it needs is implantation to take place and disrupt the cycle.

Yep, I know about implantation. That's that's why I'm saying it's not preg symptoms and probably AF arriving.

Thanks for your support, feeling quite down as have had some more bleeding today so am preparing for bad news. have a scan at the EPU tomorrow which feels like it's ages away.

Not really any symptoms as such. I keep thinking my boobs are tingling but might be imagining it Hmm

When did your sickness kick in with your first pregnancy?

I think I was about 6 weeks when my sickness kicked in last time. Although I can't be sure. It all feels a long time ago!

I think I must have been about 7 weeks when my sickness kicked in as I remember not having any symptoms at all when I got my bfp at almost 6 weeks and then was a good week or so after that I reckon.

Thanks for your thoughts ladies but scan today confirmed it wasn't meant to be. I'd had a feeling that it wasn't quite right from the start as I thought I'd had my period before I even tested so it actually feels a bit of a relief and closure to have a firm answer rather than the in limbo feeling I've had due to the on off bleeding and spotting. Now just hoping the bleeding stops soon.

Think we will most probably start ttcing again pretty much straight away so may see some of you on the thread in a few weeks or so as I've found you all so supportive Smile
