Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

How's everyone doing today??

I couldn't sleep last night so knackered today :-(

MmmMalbec · 25/08/2016 08:04

My progesterone results came back low so I'm going to need to go to the doctors to see about a specialist referral etc. Not sure what are going to do going forward but I'm going to drop off this group because I don't think we can actively TTC in the same way. I wish everyone the best of luck with their pregnancies and I hope the rest of you get your BFPs soon. I might catch up on the thread in a few weeks if I'm feeling in a better place!xx

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 25/08/2016 08:10

Ahh Malbec I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope your GP is able to offer you a swift referral. I think in some cases they can give you progesterone pessaries.

We'll miss you, but totally understand why you may want to leave for the time being Flowers Flowers

Sonnet18 · 25/08/2016 08:13

Aw, sorry to hear that malbec and best of luck with everything.

Oh Malbec I'm so sorry to hear that, hopefully now that you have your results your GP will listen and get you referred to the right person quickly. We'll miss you Flowers

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 25/08/2016 08:20

Loz and Mrs - what are your EDDs? Are we all fairly close? Mine's 30/04/2017

loztredders · 25/08/2016 08:25

I'm sorry to hear that Malbec. I hope it's something simple that can easily be fixed.
I understand also why you'd want to drop from the group for now. Good luck with everything and hope you get seen asap.

My EDD should be 1st may :-)

Do you get any mild cramps at all Tuna? I get intermittent period type cramps that are very light. I go into a panic every time I get them thinking that they're going to get worse and be another loss :-(

MrsY87 · 25/08/2016 08:40

Mine's 22/04/17 so we are all fairly close! Smile

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 25/08/2016 08:43

I've been getting some cramps Loz. And round ligament pain. But not a lot.

I've been trying to remember when the nausea kicks in...

Boobs not really sore anymore either. I'm trying to remember if it's normal. But I was last pregnant two years ago so I don't really remember!

loztredders · 25/08/2016 09:05

I'm trying to resist the urge to buy a clearblue with indicator. Even though I know they're pretty crap I really loved seeing the 3+ the first time I did one with my DD. I didn't test until I was 6 weeks with her so got a 3+ straight away haha

MrsY87 · 25/08/2016 09:13

I've got a CB indicator at home tempting me every morning!

My nausea has kicked in, has woken me up at 5am the past couple of mornings Sad I hardly had any sickness or nausea with DD but maybe I've just blocked it out!

loztredders · 25/08/2016 09:21

Nausea is a good sign MRS!!

PurpleHaze1 · 25/08/2016 16:26

malbec I'm so sorry, we'll really miss you but I understand you wanting to take a step back FlowersSad

PurpleHaze1 · 25/08/2016 18:47

Are you now in the 2ww sonnet?

Any updates from the pg ladies? I'm so jealous of your end of April/start of May EDDs, I think that's a lovely time to have a baby!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 25/08/2016 19:29

Not much of an update from me. Bloated and irrational. Standard!

And my face is SO greasy :( I already have the complexion of a teenager Hmm

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 25/08/2016 19:30

It's the rough Due date I was hoping for, so I'm really really lucky xx

loztredders · 25/08/2016 19:33

Not much update here either.
Everything seems to be going well so far, fingers very tightly crossed :-)

Are you going to carry on with the vitamins this cycle purple?

Sonnet18 · 25/08/2016 20:28

I guess I am in the 2ww...anyone else? I'm not too obsessive about it as I'm very skeptical that my cycle will last another 12-14 days so I'm just going to get on, keep busy and see what happens!
Glad to hear our pregnant ladies are clocking up some fun symptoms- greasy face and nausea...I remember those well!

PurpleHaze1 · 25/08/2016 20:35

That's a good attitude to have sonnet It's definitely best to try to keep busy in the 2ww...and you never know!

I'm still taking the B6 but just a normal dose now. Should get my BBT thermometer in the next couple of days so I can start temping!

Sonnet18 · 25/08/2016 20:54

I'm still taking b6 and think I'll temp next cycle as well. It's a bit of a hassle and I'm fairly certain I'll forget most mornings but I'll do my best!

loztredders · 25/08/2016 20:58

That's good that you're not being to obsessive sonnet. I'm pretty sure I tested every day from about 5dpo... sometimes twice a day. I'm sooo bad at this ttc lark.

loztredders · 26/08/2016 10:17

I tested again.. oops!

Test line came up same time and same darkness as the control line though so I'm glad I did as feeling pretty positive now. My line didn't get this dark with my last miscarriage so gives me a bit of hope

Ttc number 2!
MrsY87 · 26/08/2016 14:52

Good line there loz!

Is anyone testing this weekend?

We are off for a weekend away with our best friends...didn't know I was pregnant when we booked it! Not sure I'll be able to cover up not drinking for the whole weekend without them guessing! My own fault for enjoying wine too much I guess! Hope everyone else has fun bank holiday weekend plans!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 26/08/2016 15:41

Good line Loz!

Enjoy your weekend Mrs! Are you going anywhere exciting?

I should be able to keep the pregnancy quiet for a while longer. My best friend is pregnant. So no raucous nights out for the two of us.

Can't wait to tell her we'll be on maternity leave together!! I'll definitely crack before 12 weeks!!

Sonnet18 · 26/08/2016 17:23

Aw, it's so hard not to say isn't is! Well, I won't be testing for at least 10 days or so...it's sort of looking like I am the only one in the 2ww at the moment!
