Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

Hahaha lovely! Aw I'm so pleased for you and that the thread has got its first bfp!! My heart stopped a bit when I read the start of Squirrels post because I didn't check the username!!

Has it sunk in now then?

PurpleHaze1 · 18/08/2016 07:42

Brilliant tuna! Soooo happy for you! Grin

I think the fact that the digi is showing positive is enough to let yourself get excited & try to stop worrying Smile You're pregnant!!

Sorry about the BFN squirrel

Anyone else testing soon? AF is due Saturday for me so will see what the weekend brings. Still only 8dpo so I'm not planning on testing unless AF is late. I've started to reduce my B6 dose now...

MmmMalbec · 18/08/2016 07:43

Why are you reducing your dose Purple? I'm planning on keeping mind until cd1! I'm 2dpo so a while to wait for me! Really hoping to stay calm this TWW!

PurpleHaze1 · 18/08/2016 07:45

How much are you taking malbec? I'm just worried about taking such a high dose for too long Confused Also, I really don't think I'm pregnant so don't want to delay AF. Gah! Why is ttc so annoying!?

MmmMalbec · 18/08/2016 08:02

I'm only taking 25mg to start. 1.4mg in the conception vits was enough to delay my ovulation so I think that should have an affect on me! A girl on another thread I'm on is taking 100mg all month and she's a GP. She says its water soluble so anything you don't use will get wee'd out anyway. Tuna didn't think she was pregnant and she was so I wouldn't be too fast to rule yourself out.

But yeah TTC is horrific!!! I'm paranoid that even taking b6 for 2 weeks is going to delay my ovulation next month Angry But I felt like I really needed to give it my all this TWW. I'll be so mad if I have another crappy cycle next month though. Bleurgh!!!!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 18/08/2016 08:06

Thank you all so much. I really thought I was out this cycle, so I think I'm still a bit shocked. So happy though.

I await all your TWWs with anticipation and excitement! Smile

Sonnet18 · 18/08/2016 08:09

Congrats again! Our first BFP on this thread! Woohoo!

Right, so I got some b6 because of short LP. I am on cd14, still no ovulation (not uncommon- tend to O around day 18-19) so should I stop taking it in a few days or keep going?! It's confusing. Knowing me, whatever I do will be wrong!

MmmMalbec · 18/08/2016 08:20

You're really meant to take it all cycle Sonnet, I'm only taking it post o because it seems to delay my ovulation from an already late average of day 21/22 so can't have that!

Yeah tuna, really hoping to see some more BFPs very soon!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 18/08/2016 08:27

Congrats tuna how exciting! What did DH say?

I'm totally fine about my BFN. It would have been very bad timing! Will review how I feel after wedding!

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 18/08/2016 08:28

I have round ligament pain already - I suppose the muscles have been stretched before so it kicks in quicker second time around?
I had it quite badly with DS.

I hope the vitamins work as hoped for you all

loztredders · 18/08/2016 08:46

Hey everyone. Aw it's lovely that your other half knows not too Tuna - can share the excitement!!

So I actually may think I'm only 9dpo today.

I got my positive opk Monday so should I be counting tues as ov day?? If so I'm 9dpo.

Took a test this morn and i'm sure I can see the faintest of faint lines but not enough to convince me... it was my last test too! Guess who's going to be spending more money on tests.

I've attached the pic but doubt anyone can see cuz I need to hold it up to light to see really

Can't get another good luck at the mo as my 1 year old ran off with it!!! - luckily the cap was back on!

Oh and the ring is to help the camera focus

Ttc number 2!
wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 18/08/2016 08:53

Ooh! I might be able to see the faintest line! Exciting!

Do you have an Asda near you? First response are only £6 for two at the moment.

loztredders · 18/08/2016 09:05

It's 20 mins drive away!

All we have in our tiny town that sells tests is boots which are expensive and rubbish tests.

Might have to take the plunge and go asda. Can buy nappies while I'm there so it doesn't seem as sad haha

loztredders · 18/08/2016 09:06

I cracked the case and there is a definite line and the other 9 have had nothing so it's be pretty cruel if it's just an evap or indent!

MmmMalbec · 18/08/2016 09:09

There's either a really faint line or I've got line eye!! Either way I'm optimistic for you! Off to asda please Grin

Ps laughed about pee stick stealing child!!

MmmMalbec · 18/08/2016 09:10

Oh and yeah I'd say Tuesday would be most likely OV day!

loztredders · 18/08/2016 09:13

We're going to have to remortgage the house with all these tests lol

wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 18/08/2016 09:13

Picture of the cracked open test?!

loztredders · 18/08/2016 09:25

I might be losing it. . Can hardly see it on photo :-(

Ttc number 2!
wherethefuckisthefuckingtuna · 18/08/2016 09:35

I think I might be able to see it.

Off to Asda with you! Pronto! :)

loztredders · 18/08/2016 09:36

I won't be able to test for a while cuz I've just had a coffee which always makes my pee super diluted so guess it'll be tonight while OH is out at footy... I never tell him until it's a very clear positive!

MmmMalbec · 18/08/2016 09:37

I think I maybe can too! FRERs are on offer so it's not too bad Grin

Sonnet18 · 18/08/2016 10:53

Sorry but I can't see anything! It's probably the photo quality. Off to Asda for a FRER! how exciting!

OP posts:
loztredders · 18/08/2016 12:35

Well bloody asda had no FRER after travelling there what a bloody joke they also had none of their own brand tests which are apparantly good too.

So the only one that wasn't a clearblue is a £1 freedom something brand with a 25ml sensitivity so had to get that grrrrr. :-(

MmmMalbec · 18/08/2016 12:40

Oh no that's so annoying. I bet people were buying them up with them being on offer Angry 25 sensitive probably won't show for a few days. Any where else close to you that you can get FRERs from?!
