Bloody hell, poor Lissie, just saw another thread from her husband that they also cut her bladder during the surgery so she is now recovering from that as well. Defies belief, I hope they can get through this.

I think it could be time to move hut soon. This party is losing momentum. Or maybe we're all so gloomy we can't be bothered any more...

Perhaps we should have a stick hut next time, like Eeyore.

Ah Janus, I thought I read that they had to rearrange her bladder after it was hastily shoved back in the wrong place after her C Section two years ago. You'd think that would be Anatomy 101- Where Everything Goes.

I'm all for duchesse's idea of a new, quite possibly Eeyore inspired, hut.

And please remember our founding principle - we are all allowed to moan in here. Lissie is having a terrible time at the moment, and we all really wish her well, but that doesn't mean that everyone has to pretend to be fine.

No matter if you are trying for your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc etc, if you are one month or 3 years down the road. If you have nothing to share but your misery.... come on down!!!

Well I'm full of moan. Having a terrible time at work, stress, aggro and what not. Doesn't seem to be enough hours in the say, desparately need more people, not enough of us to go around.

OK everyone - if you do move huts - remember to leave a forwarding address - I have been worryingly ungloomy the past week so haven't had much to contribute but I am sure normal gloominess will be resumed next week along with the 2ww - so will definitely be needing this place.

Oh - and of course the dreaded valentines day is nearly upon us - will need somewhere to moan about that sickening forced love event. I am old and jaded - when I think February I am more excited about pancake day!!

Feedme- Pancake Day is Shrove Tuesday, which is the last day before Lent begins- hence the jettisoning of eggs, butter, milk etc and general pigging out (carnaval- goodbye to meat) before starving for 40 something days.

God, I'm a shit mother! I thought that when you had children all these things automatically came to you, like knowing when pancake day is, knowing how to make costumes for school plays, knowing how to help with homework, etc, etc, etc.....how come I STILL don't know!!!!! Blinkin good thing my mum is always at end to help me out
Anyway, can I have a quick moan please? SIL due any day now and I am really excited but still really envious and sad. I know I've had exactly this same moan before but I'm going to have it again anyway. Any vodka going spare tonight or is it off the menu cos its a Sunday?

It depends when Easter is - so if Easter is late shrove tues can fall in March - This year it is Feb 20th - hurrah! - might start practising pancake batter next week. [greedy face emotion]!

Feedmenow, here are four really large vodkas: One for each of us to down, and then another each to be getting on with.

I am thoroughly p'ed off: Got my period AGAIN. Just really grumpy this month. Somehow thought all superstitiously that because last month was annovulatory this month would be a superfertile one. Plus insem'd at a good time, and had been having funny nipple pain. But OF COURSE I wasn't pregnant. What a stupid cow to have even imagined I might have been.

I think that if I ever do get a bfp I will use the sceptical emoticon, as I won't believe it anyway.
