Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

It isn't common for me to be that hot... I've reached that temp and higher about 6/7 times throughout charting (not including these ones)... do you think that is a good sign?

I have to admit I have been staring at my charts for the last couple of months trying to see any similarities or differences... but there doesn't seem to be a pattern emerging.

fettle · 27/01/2007 17:14

Hi All

temp was still up this am, but had some very light spotting this afternoon - so so hoping it is not going to end the same way as last cycle.

What a poey thing to happen on my birthday? 1st miscarriage around Valentine's day, 2nd around Christmas and 3rd around my birthday, all things that you can't help but be reminded about! I know I shouldn't think negative yet, but it's hard.

I hope you are all ok.

take care

Oh Fettle... I hope that everything is ok. Try to rest and relax and get in to see your GP as soon as you can. Thinking of you flower!! fingers crossed xx

Hi all

Honeyapple - TBC CD8 (6th cycle ttc)
LondonLottie - 36.8 CD28 / 10DPO 3rd cycle ttc)
Mum03 - TBC CD7 (2nd cycle ttc)
Rah - 36.1 CD6 (3rd cycle ttc)
Ready - 36.57 CD22 / 7 DPO (5th cycle ttc)
greedy - 16dpo 36.6 (yes you are being daft!)

I agree, once you get that BFP you should not add in the pressure of taking temps.. If they drop for any reason you will cause yourself stress... which you don't need!

rahrah1 · 27/01/2007 18:58

Hi fettle - really hope everything is ok... I'm sure it will be.. Are you going to pop to the doc's to get checked out?
I read the other day that if you have been on the pill for a long time, it can cause cervical erosion, which causes spotting.
Sending you lots of Love.. Hugs and Kisses XX

Ready · 27/01/2007 19:01

cervical erosion sounds bloody awful doesn't it... the words I mean. Although i am sure the condition isn't nice.

rahrah1 · 27/01/2007 19:12

When I had all the bleeding in my pregnancy I prayed for it to be something like that... It does not cause any problems in pregnancy, just a bit of spotting.. I was losing loads..so it ruled that one out..we knew later on though it was coming from the placenta, as my consultant saw clots over the placenta...Nice! So bring on some good old fashioned erosion...

fettle · 27/01/2007 19:27

Thanks Rahrah and Ready,

I was on the pill for quite a few years, but haven't been for at least 8 now. I did have quite a bit of spotting with DD's pg before I found out - why I was so positive for MrsMc! I then had some heavier, bright red bleeding around 5-6 weeks, which thankfully was a false alarm.

With my 1st mc, I didn't actually bleed, just had one incidence of brown spotting, before they scanned and found no heartbeat at 9 weeks. the last mc, I obviously bled a fair amount.

Anyway, going to GP on Monday, hopefully she'll send for a scan, but not much point having one until next week, as they won't see a heartbeat until at least 6 weeks. Just hope it doesn't get worse before then.

Take care
x

Londonlottie sorry to hear that, my temp was 36.66 yesterday and back to 36.84 today (could have been the excess wine I had last night) so slightly confused! does your temp have to stay above the coverline (think mine is approx 36.3) to look as if it is a good sign ?

Not entirely sure but think I must be at least 10 or 11 dpo but then when i filled in the fertility friend yesterday it said I ovulated on CD20 ? I thought it was cd 16/17 will see tomorrow - don't feel anything apart from sharp small lower pains but you get that either way (from memory) who knows! Will post temps tomorrow... quite excited but at the same time know I will be dreadfully disappointed if af does arrive..oh well what will be will be

Lottie... looked at your chart, and the last 2 cycles your temp shot up before AF, this cycle hasn't done that, so fingers crossed all those AF symptoms are PG symptoms. I will be thinking about you all day now

My temp has stayed the same again... but I started to get the early AF warning aches this morning ... this charting and observation really makes you aware of every little niggle But I should really heed my own preaching and it could be PG aches

Mum03... alphabetical order you say? Think I might change my name to AKA.Ready I don't really mind being last, so long as someone guarantees it's going to happen!!!

minxi · 28/01/2007 12:48

Lottie - haven't used opk's but will this month...think I have just had a sign of af now so only a matter of time, based my ov on temps going high then dipping for two days alot on cd 14/15/16 but day 20 also went low after a higher dip - so v confused, only first month of charting so will check what happens next month!

fettle · 28/01/2007 14:21

Juat checking in so see how you all are today - sorry to hear that some of you think that AF is on the way. can only say that I was convinced I had AF pains for a week before my BFP, so you never know until .... as they say.

Hadn't noticed the alphabetical orderness to this thread! Spooky!

My temp was still up this morning and so far no more spotting, so hopefully everything is ok.

Thanks for letting me still post on here, your support is invaluable in these first few weeks.

Questions: I have just started taking my temp and in the first 7 days in new cycle... Does your temp normally fluctuate. Mine has gone really low.. and has bounced between 36.1 and 36.3...and my hand are cold!

Thanks londonlottie... Another question:

Just filling out my chart on Fertility friend and it keeps jumping a day. So I out my first day in as when my AF arrived, but it puts my 1st day of my new cycle at day 2 of AF.. is this correct?

Thanks
