Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

speak later

Rahrah, you are going to conceive the same month as me... cos we are going to go from Temp Buddies to Preggers Buddies!!!! Sorry you are feeling down today ((hugs))

I'm off for some retail therapy... always works this time of the month Have a great sunday ladies x

MrsMcJnr · 04/02/2007 16:32

Thanks for the info on the contact lenses Ready .

Rahrah ? get as busy as you can this cycle and you could have an October baby!

rahrah1 · 04/02/2007 17:12

I'll hold you to that Ready!

Also went shopping... Tried on some trousers... How to put myself in a big fat mood! my arse has got even bigger!

So brought a bath mat and some new underwear..

rahrah1 · 04/02/2007 17:17

Oh forgot to say... Husband had a fumble in the jungle today... so trying hard! Also going to Wales on Wednesday, so we will be nice and relaxed.. Hopefully will ovulate then. Lucky DH's mother is quite liberal about sex, last time we did it in her swimming pool we think that was were Bertie was conceived...... But its a bit cold at the moment, might have the opposite effect on the old man and his equipment!

fettle · 04/02/2007 19:47

Hi All

Hope you all had good weekends?

Mine was ok - it was lovely to see my sister, but unfortunately I had some red spotting which I noticed during lunch on Saturday. I'd had a small amount of brown spotting in the morning. Spoilt that day a little bit, as DH and I were supposed to be going out to the cinema in the evening and for a meal, while my sis babysat DD, but ended up all going home on the bus (amazing how you can entertain a 2 year old in London!!) and watched the rugby. So it was a lovely afternoon, but I could have done without the worry. Had no more spotting since then, but spent the whole weekend running to check, as I keep feeling like I'm gushing blood - very disconcerting! Not quite sure what to do - think I'll see how I am in the morning and ring the GP and find out how to get seen by the EPU. Been retching all afternoon and evening at the slightist thing, so hoping that a good sign, but still terrified. All I had before my 1st mc, was a small amount of spotting as I've just had.

Anyway, hopefully it will all be ok.

Ready, glad to hear you feeling a bit more positive, I'll back Greedy and MrsMC and say that this is your cycle. I also think that Wales will be lucky for you again Rahrah, but at the pool!!!! Sorry you are feeling low, Rah. How often I tell you how incredibly strong you sound, won't actually make you feel any better. I hope your DH gives good hugs?

Hope everyone else is doing well? Glad to hear the bleeding has slowed down Greedy and hope the scan tomorrow shows some good news.

MrsMc, I hope the test goes well tomorrow - I'm sure it will. Are you feeling any more pg at the moment?

BBW - did the chest freezer arrive? I hope you have some good news on Saturday!

Mum03 - hang in there. Most people don't actually ovulate on CD14, its a myth!! have you any other signs, which might make you think you have or are ovulating?

Honey - hope you and DH have had a good weekend !!

Lottie - how you doing? Nearing ov time?

Minxi - I am so sorry that AF arrived - I was feeling so positive for you. I hope you have managed to have an ok weekend. Take care.

Ok, have I missed anyone? I hope not and if I have it is not on purpose.

take care
x

wow rahrah! how liberal is she???? did you ask her permission first before you did it in the pool?
so what effect does chlorine have on the solubility of semen then?

greedyforbabies · 04/02/2007 19:53

fettle - the sooner you get scanned by your epu the better. hopefully it will put your mind at rest, so get down to your docs tomorrow and DEMAND a scan!

rahrah1 · 04/02/2007 19:56

Hi fettle, Sorry you have had some more bleeding.. but the morning sickness is a good sign, very positive. I know it is awful and your mind plays tricks on you as well. I would go to you EPU just to get some reassurance, at least ask for a scan for when you can see the heartbeat. The brown blood is ok, as that is just old blood....Have a relaxing evening and put your feet up. X

greedyforbabies · 04/02/2007 19:58

fettle - i am sure it is nothing to worry about anyway, but you need some reassurance dont you.
i have had more blood today, but i would call it spotting not bleeding. quite bright red though which is always more of a worry. hopefully tomorrow will ease my mind a bit.

greedyforbabies · 04/02/2007 20:00

yes! i forgot about your morning sickness fettle! that HAS to be a really good sign doesn't it? i am willing mine to kick in! i used to get it when i was hungry with my other pgs so i let myself get really hungry today so i would hopefully start wretching, but no luck!

rahrah1 · 04/02/2007 20:00

Hi greedyforbabies - cross posted...

Not sure on the chlorine, but it cant be much if we conceived...

Nope we did not ask her first....we told her after the event

I was really embarrassed when I first meet them, as her and her DH (DH stepdad) talk about sex quite a lot... In my family it something you do on the quiet...

rahrah1 · 04/02/2007 20:07

It still quite early for morning sickness, I'm sure it will come. But remember every pregnancy is different.
If the bleeding was due to a problem that would of ended the pregnancy in MC then it probably would of happened by now. They classed my episodes of bleeding as threatened M/C, they should then monitor you much more carefully. I have seen somewhere that if you have had a threatened M/C Brazil nuts are meant to help??

Like you said a scan will put your mind at rest, hopefully you will be able to see a heartbeat tomorrow and that everything is OK.. Trouble is sometimes they can't see a heartbeat this early...

greedyforbabies · 04/02/2007 20:27

thanks rahrah. i thought it would be too early to see a heartbeat too. the consultant told me they dont scan you unless your HCG levels are above 1500 and if all is ok mine should definately be above that now cos they wwre nearly 1000 last wed. not sure what to expect tomorrow really, guess i will just have to wait and see.

i am starting to feel bad coming on here and harping on about my pg, so i will give it a rest!

lets get back to you having sex in the pool! i have always found lubrication a problem when trying to do it in water!

rahrah1 · 04/02/2007 20:40

Honestly Greedy don't feel bad about anything... I wish I had know you guys when I was pregnant, probably would of calmed me down a lot..

LOL - Might take my costume just in case

fettle · 04/02/2007 20:49

Thanks Greedy & Rahrah!

Is it an indoor or outdoor pool, Rah? I'm still ed, but intriguied!!! Do you think MIL/FIL are going to expect you to do it this time???!

rahrah1 · 04/02/2007 20:55

They will probably shove us in there, if it means we will get pregnant again...

Its outdoor... so will probably shrivel vital bits up... lol

mum03 · 04/02/2007 21:45

Hi all

Had an ok weekend, finally got a bit higher temp and fertility friend has put me at 3dpo, which is more or less what I thought.

Fettle - hope you get a scan or at least bloods done this week to put you mind at rest, it is obviously worrying you at the moment. Thanks for the reassurance re-ing. I knew I had all the right signs of o-pain and ewcm, but nothing with temp until 2 days ago and then down again, but now it is looking just like last months temps and showing a slow rise in the temp. Hope tomorrow my temp will be a little higher or at least the same as today. I can now understand why people temp to another decimal point too!!!

Greedy - hope the scan goes well tomorrow, it is difficult to know how much you will get to see, at my 4.5 week scan with my ds, I saw a heartbeat, yet with my dd I did not get a heartbeat at 6 weeks and had to wait to 7.5 weeks before seeing the little blip on the screen. It all depends on the equipment and skill of the sonographer as well as the stage of pg. I hope that all is well and at the very least that you see the little sac snuggled in the right place.

rah - make use of the swimming pool to exercise and find somewhere more comfortable for the procreation is my advice!

BBW - I am only a day behind you in dpo, how long is your lut. phase?

wow, I am verbouse tonight, so I will bid goodnight all and go get some sleep.

fettle · 04/02/2007 22:36

Good news, you've ov-d Mum03. Something I only found out recently, is that some people do have a temp dip 1-2 days after ov. Due to a sudden release in one of the hormones, can't remember which. I read it in the infamous TCOYF book, we all go by!!! It is also quite normal to have small step increases in temp, so might not see a big leap, as long as it goes up and then stays above your coverline.

sleep well everyone.

BBWBabeLisa · 04/02/2007 22:51

Fettle, sorry to hear about the bleeding! Hope the EPU can put your mind at rest.
No the feckin chest freezer didn't arrive. Phoned Dixons lunchtime to be told the delivery had been cancelled and they've no idea why. Couldn't deliver for another week. Already been waiting 3. I got in a strop and cancelled the order, went for a browse at local retail park today and found an upright I preferred and have ordered it from somewhere chearper online (bet u all really wanted to know all that didn't you?!).

Greedy - I was only 5 and a bit weeks when we saw a heartbeat, so hoping all goes well for you.

MUM03 - I generally get my period on the 10th DPO, so I guess that makes a 9 day LP, been taking vit b6 when I remember to try to increase it. How long is yours?

Temping as religiously as I have this month (haven't been great at remembering in previous cycles) I'm really noticing how much hotter I feel when I first wake up. Since my temp spike on Thursday I have woken up sweating like a hog, never usually feel like that, and only sleep with a very lightweight quilted throw on the bed. I reckon a few months of this and I could tell without bothering to temp when I've ov'd!

(Sorry to the PG ones, I didnt paste you on...do you mind?)

Morning.
Been away this weekend with SIL, BIL, FIL and GGM (Great grandma).
Definitely Oved sometime this weekend CD15?- cramps and lots of EWCM. Which is great because last month i didnt notice much at all. Couldnt get DP to perform though cos he was up boozing and playing cards...and then subsequently too knackered... but he did make up last night, although perhaps that was a bit late?
Not much temp rise...just up 1 degree this morning. Hopefully it will go up some more...
lots of love to all
xx

honeyapple · 05/02/2007 09:41

We did shag on CD13 though...
