Morning - definitely in too good a mood this morning for the hut - not sure why the good mood, but not going to question it while it lasts!!

Anyway, 37.83 this morning, so up a little from yesterday. 11 DPO (well 11 days high temps - when do you count ov from, the day before temp rise or the day of temp rise?)

speak later

Greedy - that's great news!! I'm so pleased. I wish I could get some reassurance like that - but you've given me some hope if your temp was down to 36.7, as mine was 36.8[3] (I'm with you Ready, that 2nd decimal point is important!!!). But now I have to check my temp tomorrow morning, so i'm not making promises I can't keep!! i've also bought some more tests, just in case I feel really negative about it all.

Rahrah - I would find it impossible not to be on MN all the time if i worked from home. Unfortunately we have to enter a password to enter the internet and so every site you visit is logged. I'm sure someone will have noticed somewhere that I've been constantly on MN for the last week or so. But today, it kept saying the site was busy, so I just took it as a sign not to risk it anymore!!

I work for a pharmaceutical company, if I dare admit that.

What do you do?

Not heard much from you recently Ready - are you ok? I'm worried about you.

anyway, have some work I need to do now, so I'll hopefully keep popping for the rest of the evening!

take care all
x

ps mum03, enjoy your evening

Found you Greedy! That sounds really positive, and I hope Monday provides some clearer proof of mini-Greedy!

rahrah1 · 31/01/2007 20:41

I'm currently working for a bank - I manage the Team managers and all of their crisis and drama's.... most of the staff are quite young..but have so many issues (well they think there issues!) - It was quite a big department...until they decided to move it to a different country. I'm currently on gardening leave and will leave there at the end of March and then set up own business with a partner in IFA sector. So I'm currently just concentrating on that, so it is ready for when I'm officially unemployed and can start working again.
I have not actually been at work since about August...lol... I had really bad morning sickness and then you know the rest... so been off sick for ages, then maternity leave and now 3 months gardening leave.

honeyapple · 31/01/2007 21:07

Hi greedy- Well that's great news! (TBH I wasnt very hopeful for you) ... did the doctors suggest any reason for the bleeding? The body is a weird and wonderful thing.
Sleep well tonight!

greedyforbabies · 31/01/2007 23:24

neither was i honeyapple! still dont want to get too excited, but if everything turns out ok i would hate to have spent my whole pregnancy worrying instead of enjoying, so i might as well enjoy it now!

Morning all, temp has dropped again today and slightly more colour (tmi) when wiping after loo so am almost certain that af will be in full flow by tomorrow

Feel better that actually will have had a chance to see what I really need to do based on the charting with temps etc....bought some opk's after ov last month so at least will get to use them too...

Just so frustrating after coming off the depe November2004 over 2 years ago, I only put 7 cycles of ttc because that is when periods got back to normal!!

May go back to the doctors this month to see what they think, they checked ovulation back in Nov and said to come back if nothing had happened - I just assumed as the bloods were okay it would happen quite quickly - oh well back to the drawing board as it were!!

Mum03, Honeyapple and rahrah good luck with the ovulating...
Greedy - glad to hear all is going well, hang in there
Fettle, I'm sure everything will be fine this time, stay positive!
Lottie - I shall be joining you again now
Ready - Fingers crossed

Hi minxi - maybe it's just taking your body a while to adjust..hopefully there is nothing wrong, but I would go to the doctors just in case. We got referred to the local Infertility clinic prior to conceiving Bertie and the waiting list are quite busy... And at mine they did investigations about 3 months apart each time... so you can imagine it takes a while! Plus has you partner been tested? How old are you? as they have different time frames for referrals for different ages. Obviously the older you are the shorter the time frame, for example if you are over 35 they may say you only need to of been trying to conceive for 9 months, where someone who is 21 they may say you need to of been trying for 18 months before getting a referral to the clinic.

Better go, Ive got an appointment at 10 and not even dressed... See you all later X

minxi - sorry that you feel af is about to arrive. that depo is a great contraceptive isn't it................even long after you stop taking it hey? it made me leak milk when i was on it! so i stopped having it! my body always seems to do weird things!

ready - how are you doing? you always go a bit quiet at this time of your cycle dont you? you can chat to us you know, we are hear to listen to ANYTHING you have to say (however daft!)

fettle - how you doing? temp up like mine? i bet it was......our bodies do seem to be stangely linked in some way!

mum03, rahrah and honeyapple...........what are you doing reading this? you should be BDing..........you too lottie...what harm can it do!?

greedy - you wont see much on the scan yet will you? They will only be looking for where the sac is and the thickness of your uterus lining. But having said that I did get an early view of h/b with ds, so maybe you will be lucky? I just knew all was ok.

fettle - what was your temp this morning?

Greedy - Excellent news!! Wonderful Now, take it easy will you!! Sorry if everyone thinks I am rude if I go "missing"... honestly, it's not really anything to it, just coincidence I think?? Although, I distinctly remember one flounce at AF a few cycles back

Fettle - Aaw, thanks for worrying about me, but I am ok. Just very busy yesterday, is all

Minxi - Sorry about your drop in temp, fingers are firmly crossed that AF doesn't arrive for you!!

Lottie, Rah, Mum, Honeyapple - Fingers and toes crossed for you all this cycle!!!!

Well.. as you can see my temp dropped from 36.56 to 36.48 And the AF cramps/twinges are impossible to confuse with anything else. I reckon the month I actually get pregnant (if I do!) I won't have any cramps at all, and that's how I will know.
I keep feeling like AF will arrive today, that's how strong the cramps are... but that would only be a 26 day cycle, and I've never had one that short before??!!
Every cloud has a silver lining (says the eternal optimist!) at least I never have to spend money on pg tests

Hugs x

i remember you having a strop a few cycles ago too ready!!!!!! i dont know how you normally manage to stay so chirpy all the time!
it will be a sad day when i see you in the hut of doom!

Ready · 01/02/2007 11:36

Just reading in the Hut of Gloom, they are outlawing the use of AF... and I think I agree... I type it purely out of laziness, but when you strip it back to Auntie Flo, it does sound kinda twee... So period it is.

fettle · 01/02/2007 11:42

Morning all

Temp back up again this am, Greedy so you are right.. 37.05.
But have really bad AF-like cramps at the mo and what could be very mild spotting again. I?ve been to check about 5 times in the past hour ? not sure what my colleagues are going to think and my hands are red raw from washing them so often!

Want to ring and ask for a scan now, but there is no point as they won?t see anything until next week at the earliest (6wks) and besides I really have to be at work tomorrow as I?m helping run a training course. Although I did tell my boss yesterday that I was pg again (we used to be peers, got promoted when I went to another job and then I came back, so she is more of a friend than true boss, which is great!), so she?ll understand if I suddenly disappear ? part of the reason I told her, so that I wouldn?t? have to explain if it goes wrong again, she would just know.

Anyway, I feel awful going on about my worries here on the TTC as at least I am pg, so please forgive me and thanks for all your support.

Ready, glad to heat that you are ok, sorry to hear you think AF is coming ? don?t give up hope yet, I was convinced I was getting AF, as my pains were really bad and have been on and off since then, so it?s not necessarily a definite sign of AF.
Don?t listen to Greedy about your strop, she disappeared for a break at around the same time if you remember!! Although she only managed a couple of days ? why is MN so addictive? See I?m back on while I?m at work!!

Minzi, sorry to hear about your drop in temp, but mine have always fluctuated a bit, either when pg or not, so it might be ok. As long as it stays above the coverline you are doing ok!

Hey, ovulators, how you doing? Lots of duvet time I hope!

Speak later

Fettle, don't apologise about sharing your worries with us... that's what MN is for!! And we all care a great deal about you flower!! So say what you like, when you like!!!

Lottie, I read on the chart spotters thread that you are feeling down. I'm really sorry that you are going through so much emotional stress. Never nice. I think you are completely right to feel aggrieved at your mother's decision to announce her marriage plans so soon after what happened. It isn't very sensitive!! Hang in there flower. You know we are all here for you!!

Evening...just about to start priming DP for some shagging...

greedyforbabies · 01/02/2007 20:02

how do you 'prime' your DP honeyapple? do tell!
i thought i would be a VERY nice wife tonight and give DH some action. obviously it will have to be a bit one sided as i dont want his bits coming anywhere near my bits at the moment and causing more bleeding. so he is in for a real treat!.............................................................................................IF i can be arsed later!!!!

honeyapple · 01/02/2007 21:58

Well Greedy,

  1. Make nice supper
  2. Empathise about his work and sore back
  3. Cuddle him randomly (which has potential to irritate- so be careful)
  4. Suggest a quickie before ER
  5. DP have a bath (not too hot)
  6. I will go and pounce on him soon

Morning girlies.. Glad all is well...

I don't have any signs of ovulation yet.. last month it was around CD20, so could be the same again. However before Bertie I was a 28-30 cycle girl... so CD20 is a bit late for me. The doctor reckons its the stress my body has been under... I'm having reflexology again tomorrow.. Yay

Greedy - Your so naughty but hope you hubbie enjoyed it... I suppose his Rambo sperm might of needed a release!

Fettle - Stomach cramps are pretty normal, I think the problem with trying to get pregnant in the way we are doing it, we know as soon as... where in many circumstances people don't know until 5-6 weeks. So we get to look into every single twinge and cramp. It must be a massive change to the body during this period and it is adapting all the time..I do think it will be a good idea though for you to have a scan as soon as possible to put your mind at rest.. But personally I would not have one until 6 1/2 - 7 weeks so I could ensure I could see a heartbeat. Otherwise it might worry you even more.

minxi - Looking forward to your test tomorrow, hopefully it was just too early last time.

Mum03 - Your temp shift is indicating that you have ovulated, did you get any other symptoms? Have you been having lots of BD?

Ready - Fingers crossed for you..

honeyapple - Are you close to the big O?

londonlottie - I tell you what mothers seem to have the sensitivity of a sledge hammer! My mothers not far behind yours! I know it is so hurtful that people, especially though so close can just carry on with their plans.. I just reinforces to me how little people really understand. I really hope things get a little easier... I'm always here if you want to talk.. I have lots of stories about my mum that will make you laugh..

I don't think I've missed anyone.. but if I have,, sorry!
