Thought I would create a fresh thread as the original had been going since Feb. This is for anyone TTC #1, a bit of moral support as we all attempt to embark on the scary journey that is parenthood! Join us if you are a mix of terrified and excited, don't really know what you're doing yet and hadn't heard of CM before you started reading Mumsnet!!

Flake? Lol autocorrect from idiot. Odd!

BusyNothings · 09/08/2016 23:17

Argh! Fake. Stupid phone. Angry

Eva30 · 10/08/2016 05:50

AF is due Monday, I'm 9dpo today, cd26.
busy we all do it and we're all completely normal hereWink test on Saturday with me?
I've spent a lot of time checking 'charts like mine' on fertility friend for answers, and of course there aren't any! I keep craving cake (pretty good craving but not for the waistline) another sign AF may be on the way. Thankfully there's a good cake shop at my work, they're going to know me by name soon

Pyjamas81 · 10/08/2016 07:40

Definitely not being an idiot! I turned into a total crazy woman and it was really stressing me out - the constant googling of symptoms, analysing temps, POAS etc. It's actually given me insomnia where I wake up at silly early times every day! I really need to chill out more next time and continue living my life until I get that BFP!

Ooooo nearly testing time for you and Eva! Excitement!

AF bad mood has well and truly landed Angry

BusyNothings · 10/08/2016 09:56

Thanks eva and pj Grin
Also I'm very jealous of that cake shop! I have to go miles for a decent cake shop. Mmmm cake. See I don't get the charts like mine on ff. I think as soon as I don't understand something that looks sciency my brain just goes nope nope and runs away.

Ugh I hope you sleep pattern gets back to normal pj insomnia sucks. Got any cardboard boxes you can take that bad mood out on? I used to love working in a warehouse at that time because I could smash some boxes and take out my anger.

BusyNothings · 10/08/2016 09:58

Also I'm kind of scared to test on Saturday now! My temp is still above my baseline today and expected it to drop for my period. I get the fear you had now pj I'm scared if it is and almost wishing for AF.

Pyjamas81 · 10/08/2016 10:34

Yep - I definitely had The Fear busy! That's why I'm actually glad I got the BFN now - it was a good test to see how I really felt and the disappointment confirmed I'm doing the right thing!

Pyjamas81 · 10/08/2016 10:35

Eva30 · 10/08/2016 10:45

busy the button should be just above your chart, or maybe that's a "VIP" feature when you subscribe, photo of my screen attached. The chart gallery is addictive, you can set which charts you want to view so if you select pregnancy chart at you can see charts of people who got their BFP, I waste so much time looking at these. And overlay you can put this months chart on top of previous months and see if it's similar/different
pjs yeah I know, I can't wait to test just to get an answer. I'm 99% sure it'll be another bfn the way I'm feeling.

Eva30 · 10/08/2016 10:45

Oops forgot to attach again.

That's looking good eva! Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Yeah the buttons there I just don't understand how to fill in the filter options.

Jjspoon · 10/08/2016 12:37

I'm testing Saturday too 😀 going to be a busy thread next few days haha.

I've given up on temping already lol only did it for 2 weeks then forgot to put it next to my bed for 3 days in a row and didn't think there was much point doing it after getting up and moving to find it. I'll start again next cd1.

BusyNothings · 10/08/2016 12:51

Lol jj I did that for a few days. Then I set an alarm every morning about 40minutes before I have to wake up and it's worked perfectly. Slightly wake up, shove it in my mouth, let it beep. Put it away. Check the temp readout when j wake up properly!

Jjspoon · 10/08/2016 18:26

Mine is broken as it doesn't store the last temp so unfortunately I have to actually look and record before I forget :(. Crap really when I only got it 2 weeks ago but don't think I can't be bothered with the hassle of sending it back as it seems to work fine at actually reading temp just doesn't save.

Pyjamas81 · 10/08/2016 18:37

My issue is once I'm awake, I'm awake, so no going back to sleep for me!

Temps are looking good Eva!

BusyNothings · 10/08/2016 18:43

Yeah I am usually too pj but got myself into a zombie routine lol so it seems to be working. Still no sign of AF and I caved. I did a test earlier and spent a good 5 minutes staring at an imaginary line even though it was completely blank!

Ah jj that sucks if mine did that I'd be screwed no way in hell I'd remember to do it every morning!

How you ladies getting on otherwise?

Eva30 · 10/08/2016 19:28

Do you think? I don't feel like they're high enough. I'd fall over if I got a BFP, really bloated and sure AF is coming. I might save my tests and not test Saturday and wait for AF, will see what temps do tomorrow and Fri.

Pyjamas81 · 10/08/2016 19:53

As far as I know, it's the trend rather than the actual temp that matters and yours are staying elevated! Temps are cruel though - mine were up up up then boom! Through the floor!

Am doing alright today - cramps have gone, although I was CRANKY at work. Had to take myself into a booth away from everyone else to work as I was being so foul! I am enjoying the prospect of a boozy guilt free weekend and I'm appreciating peeing in the loo instead of pots!

Eva30 · 10/08/2016 20:00

Yeah, but they're not as high as previous months (when bfn - maybe it's a good sign after all). I'm just reading too much in to everything.
Has AF gone now pyjamas? What cd will you start with the CB monitor?

BusyNothings · 10/08/2016 20:03

Haha pj sounds like you definitively deserve a boozy weekend! You doing anything special?

Is your AF due on Saturday eva? How many dpo will you be?

I keep getting this heavy almost cramp but not cramp feeling low in my stomach where I imagine my uterus to be lol. It's not cramps it just feels heavy and weird and twingy. Wtf? I keep thinking AF has turned up and going to the bathroom to check. My dh thinks I'm a lunatic.

Pyjamas81 · 10/08/2016 20:14

The AF cramps have definitely gone - will know whether AF has gone later when I remove my mooncup. I know what you're thinking - oh god a crusty old mooncup hippy lol. But, not one dreadlock in sight - it's just sanitary towels make me feel like I'm wearing a nappy and even the lightest flow tampon turns my hoo-ha into the Sahara desert! Which isn't fun for anyone.

I'll start with the CB digi opks on CD7, want to make sure I don't miss anything as my cycles are so unpredictable! Can't wait for flashing smiley face hell again ha ha

Pyjamas81 · 10/08/2016 20:15

And the only thing I've planned for the weekend busy is the pub!!

BusyNothings · 10/08/2016 20:30

No judgement here pj moon cups intrigue me but don't think I'd ever have the guts to use one. Me and my best mate often talk about them as we are a bit hippyish lol and feel we should but just never actually try them!

Pub. I'm jealous. After how much I drank at the weekend I'm now crapping myself that if I do somehow magically get a bfp I'm going to feel guilty for 9 months!

Eva30 · 10/08/2016 20:32

So far I've had 29 & 30 day cycles so that'd be AF due on Sat or Sun (cd26 today) but I ov later than usual (cd17 v cd15) so AF might be later than usual? Pregnacare messed me up this cycle Sad I've been off it a week now, how long do you reckon it takes to get out of the system?

Eva30 · 10/08/2016 20:34

pyjamas I reckon I'll be joining you having some wine this weekend Grin
busy the cramps sound good, fx for Saturday
