Thought I would create a fresh thread as the original had been going since Feb. This is for anyone TTC #1, a bit of moral support as we all attempt to embark on the scary journey that is parenthood! Join us if you are a mix of terrified and excited, don't really know what you're doing yet and hadn't heard of CM before you started reading Mumsnet!!

I had a bit of a crazy minute earlier and poas... bfn of course, I even took it outside for a squint don't know what else I was expecting lol. Sigh. Just want this cycle to hurry up. I was so chilled last cycle as well so now I'm a bit angry at myself for causing unnecessary disappointment.

Also, it was one I'd forgotten about that the hospital gave me to do so it came with a little pipette and I had to drop 3 drops of weeks on to the little spot. I felt like a frickin mad scientist.

I honestly felt crazy. Also.... dp told me last night not to test until after af is due (which I was planning on waiting for) but then I had that mad moment and thought a cheeky little test cant hurt I just wont tell him. He's just came in and said you've left your piss pot on the side. Oops 😂 gave the game away.

Busy I don't blame you, if I had cheapies I'd do a lot more but I think the cost of cb's stops me haha. Surely one of you has to get a BFP this month! Fx for you.

No he wasn't mad thankfully! Just gave me a look and I felt really sheepish. I think he's just worried how I will take a BFN after such an emotional month with the mc. I will defo wait a few more days now! AF should be due Sunday but who knows! Still feel mid cycle at the moment; creamy cm and no spots which usually crop up a few days before AF so feel like I might be in for a longer cycle this month.

I've not done fmu yet i might as well try that tomorrow. I've just done another test and I swear I'm going line blind. Nothing there but my brain is filling in the blanks. I don't want to order a frer or clear blue though im scared it'll jinx it or something equally stupid.

And AF has left the building already - another two day period. Which is great, and AF was always about 3 days long in the past, but 2 is seeming very short!

I'm still peeing on an opk a day... Still nothing anywhere near positive since that day 8 one that I think was a fluke? CD 19 and no changes in CM to super stretchy ewcm so far this month, in fact I've gone from watery to creamy already missing ew stage altogether?! just dtd 2-3 times a week, luckily my sex drive has come back having come off the pill! Figuring I may be in for a long cycle this month if I ov later.

busy how do you feel? Any symptoms except the cramps?

Af got me this morning... totally unexpected this early. Cd27 and had no symptoms yesterday at all so totally out the blue. On the plus side better to have a short cycle than a long one and at least I can get back to trying properly now and will know where I am with cycle again.
