Thought I would create a fresh thread as the original had been going since Feb. This is for anyone TTC #1, a bit of moral support as we all attempt to embark on the scary journey that is parenthood! Join us if you are a mix of terrified and excited, don't really know what you're doing yet and hadn't heard of CM before you started reading Mumsnet!!

Clear as can be Daisy! I'm on a night out that's been planned for a while tonight, specifically going somewhere because of its 241 rum cocktails! Think I'm going to say I think I have a uti coming on....

Good plan. I am going with accepting drinks and subtly ditching them. If I said I wasn't drinking, even with a believable excuse, no one would believe me. My friends are like bloodhounds on the scent of early pregnancies!

I'm still peeing on all the opks... That first one seems to have been faulty as they haven't come up with a cross since, just a single line on both control and test... Doing cheapies now as don't trust the superdrug ones... Just squinters/faint lines since... But only day 13 and first full cycle off pill!

Sounding good pie keep going it's your first month though so don't stress too much

I've just found out in addition to my cousin being pregnant and two of my closest friends my dh's cousin is now also pregnant.

Having a real low moment atm. Very jealous and feeling very low and pathetic.

Planning a trip to my GP in 3 weeks time, I have private medical insurance through work so may even use that if I don't get the answers I'm looking for from the NHS.

I'm a newbie on here - I have been driving myself mad in the 2ww!

It's my second month of ttc. I told myself this month that I would do any tests until AF was late but I have just ended up doing one this evening. AF is due on Wednesday and I think I am about 9/10 dpo. I have done a cheap sainsburys test. I think I can see a v faint line but think I may be making it up in my head.

What do you ladies think?

Ah busy - a quadruple baby bomb, that can't be easy so no wonder you feel low It will be your turn soon - have everything crossed for you.

Still no sign of AF for me, barely any symptoms today other than the odd twinge which I'm probably imagining. Went out and had my two half pints - everyone thought it was very strange behaviour! Then left early to have dinner with DH and a mocktail (let's face it, it's a damn smoothie - zzzzz).

Trying to prepare myself for a BFN tomorrow - it would just be too nuts to get it on first proper go

I just feel really low and I know that's ridiculous and most probably part of AF but doesn't make it any easier to ignore.

Pj I so recon you'll be in for a shock tomorrow lol! Why are you so sure it'll be a BFN? All looking positive to me! Will you do fmu? Plus don't you usually have a short lp so af would be here by now ;) not to worry you!

Busy sorry you're feeling so low, I know how you feel (I'm sure alot of us do). Everyone people even talk about pregnancies and babies I get jealous and a bit angry although I'd never tell anyone that!

And for anyone who is interested here are my temps. Been doing it for almost 2 weeks now. I thought they were really high but actually I think I was reading it wrong lol. They are still higher than everyone else's I've seen but seem to be stabilising a bit now compared to how crazy they were at first.

I don't know why it thinks I ovulated when it predicted, think it is going by my cycle length rather than temps as I had a bit of a dip but it didn't shoot up high after like it is meant to and still seems to be getting higher!

jj your temps are like mine were at the beginning. Really high and all over the place. Since my first period my temps have dropped considerably.

Also I agree pj it's looking good from here. Ill be keeping fingers crossed for you!

I'll be ok. It's different when it's random people or you lot when it's your close family and friends it feels a bit like a gut punch. Be fine tomorrow I'm sure! AF is due on Monday though and not sure if my mood is pms or what. These are my temps atm -

Ooooo you're making me nervous jj hahaha - have no idea as am only on third cycle and there was a 10 day difference in cycle length and ovulation day between the last two cycles! Yep - will be FMU tomorrow with a FRER and will be CD32 (which was length of first cycle).

I think I'm preparing for an BFN because I'm trying to limit the disappointment! And, I'm not sure whether I'm still out of the woods for a false negative (12dpo tomorrow, I think). And because I'm 35 (and nearly a half)! Aargh the nerves! How are you doing jj?

If it is a sign of AF busy, I know how that feels - no one and nothing can get me out of those funks

Yes - a night away will do you the world of good busy My real non birth controlled cycle has taught me so much about my mood!

Oh pj that sounds refreshing! Haha busy you so sound like you need a drink! Since my mc I've been drinking far too much... making the most of it before the abstinence again! Not getting drunk or anything but I usually once drink once or twice a month whereas the last 2 weeks ive been having a glass or two of wine nearly every night:/. I'll stop again after next af *sigh.

Busy yeah I'm hoping mine are starting to settle down a bit.
