Thought I would create a fresh thread as the original had been going since Feb. This is for anyone TTC #1, a bit of moral support as we all attempt to embark on the scary journey that is parenthood! Join us if you are a mix of terrified and excited, don't really know what you're doing yet and hadn't heard of CM before you started reading Mumsnet!!

Haha you ladies do make me laugh! Have fun on Friday pj! My bestie found out she was preggers on the mother of all hangovers. Her little pudding is the cutest so I wouldn't worry.

As for boobs I have pancakes so nothing to moan about apart from the lack of haha!

Welcome difficult, blissful and london. I'm on holiday atm so had a lot of catching up to do! pyjamas did AF stay away? And a temp rise? It's sounding good!!
So if I got my static smiley on Sunday morning, would I take it that I ov on Sunday or Monday? I didn't have any ov pain this cycle like I did last cycle so I really don't know? FF isn't pinpointing ov yet, I think it waits until you've had 3 raised temperatures?

Oh and my stats, 29yo, ttc#1, cycle 4

No sign of AF yet! Slight temp dip this morning, but still above average - this is torture! Still not in a foul mood, just generally tired (probably through thinking about it so damn much)!

Going to have a glass or two of wine tonight at dinner with friends - need to chill out!

I counted my ov day as the day after static smiley Eva. Who knows whether that's actually right or not ha ha

Unfortunately not blissful, we decided to do a staycation in the UK and it's rained the whole time, typical!! Have enjoyed relaxing and a few glasses of wine though

Morning ladies! Felt much more chilled out after a couple of glasses of wine last night Still no AF today, the suspense is killing me! I'm getting mild occasional sharp pains in left side which could mean anything. Temp is up again today - so confusing.

Busy - how are the opks going?

Shame about the weather on your holiday Eva - glad you've managed to relax though! How many days dpo are you?

My symptoms the past few days are still strong-

Headaches
Nausea
Heartburn / reflux
Waking up needing to wee and going lots through the day (I'm actually cutting down on drinking so I don't get caught out)
Strong sense of smell
Weird taste to everything (couldn't finish my favourite dinner / drink last night and my tea today taste yuck)

Dp has even commented on how ill I am so maybe I am just ill.

Weird though.

I had 3 days of pink spotting but no more.

Ad due in 10 days

Last time I came off the pill I had none of this feeling ill business and got straight on with things

difficult I felt horrible for weeks after coming off the pill, properly ill, took about 5 pregnancy tests, ha! I think we underestimate how a big change in hormones can affect you, the smell/taste thing was crazy, I threw good chicken out TWICE because it smelt weird to me but no one else and i could smell my house constantly... It settled down after my period and I feel fine now, just still very aware of how different I feel with just my very own hormones! Hope you start to feel better soon

Maybe it's just different this time around. Although all symptoms are exactly the same as when I was pregnant last time, which I unfortunate miscarried , so it's certainly throwing me off a bit

difficult sounds like you are having a bad time of it but I'm the same as pie I had all that for well over a month before AF came back. You can see it on this thread lol I was driving everyone nuts and did a million tests. Try not to worry too much because that just makes it worse (although not easy). It could be that your a bit run down anyway and it's making all the symptoms worse this time?

What's your temp at pj? Glad you had a nice night and feeling a bit calmer!

eva sucks about the weather but glad you had a few glasses of wine and enjoyed yourself.

I'm still doing opks but had absolutely zero. Zilch. Nada. Resigned myself to just waiting for AF now and when I find out when it is an my cycle length then I'll order a digi OPK for next month. (And by resigned I mean still doing opks every day lol)

Ha ha busy - resigned along with daily POAS, love it. But you should def keep testing, who knows when it could strike!

Looks good that it's going up instead of down for your AF! Keeping fingers crossed for you. At least with your opks you still have a line I don't lol mine are completely blank! Not even a hint of a line.

Boo to the opks busy - once you get the digi ones you can just do it with FMU and not worry about missing the surge!

I've just invested in a sleep bra to help with the evilness which is my "tender breasts" as ovia so politely puts it. Not bloody cheap! I can't decide whether to not bother with OPKs for the rest of this month

So far I've had - very mild sporadic cramping over the last week and today, kind of sharpish pains on left side, the 'school glue' Ovia CM description (ew), weird temps but elevated, vivid dreams, spotty chest (gross but at least it's not on my face), boobs feel slightly fuller (hooray - but still not much more than a handful so nothing to get hysterical about), still no foul AF mood other than almost terminal impatience but I think it's the waiting for AF to show up. Really wish Mother Nature made pregnancy and AF symptoms different!!

Good work on the bra - hopefully you'll be more comfortable!

I know I was having the same conversation with dh last night. He's concluded that women's bodies are desirable but stupid lol. Simple minds.

pj I like the look of those temps alot!!! I don't know much about them to be fair but definately looking positive! I so hope you'll get your BFP. And you've held out without testing yet! Bet you're going mad lol.

busy sorry for the negatives but like pj said it's worth still doing. Remind me where you are in your cycle? I only look on here on my phone so it's far too tricky going back through the pages sorry! Also are you one of the bigger buster girls or no? I'm a dd cup and have recently discovered primark are doing really comfortable crop tops and vest tops with "hidden support" and they are great for sleeping in. They only come in clothes sizes so ive gone for a size down than I should to hold me in which is just right. Defo not enough support to actually wear out but enough to stop my boobs travelling round to my side when led down haha. And for about £3/ £4 can't go wrong!

I'm on cd24 and had complete blanks with no line for three days now. Also having all the same symptoms I had last month before period. My temps are also a bit odd but low so don't think it's anything. I'd pretty much counted out this month anyway due to it being my first month! I'll look into the primark ones but I haven't been a DD since I was about 16 lol so I'm definitely busty! Sadly.

Ah that's a shame as proper bras are so expensive but I doubt they'd be any good for much bigger! Don't give up yet but glad you're feeling so positive and like you said it's early days yet for you.

Ha ha jj - trust me it's The Fear stopping me from testing rather than patience! Just did an OPK, you know, just for something to pee on (when did this become normal behaviour). This is quite a strong line for CD29, no?! Deep down I know it means nothing ha ha.

Haha pyjamas, I'm loving your POAS addiction, it's about on a par with mine! They say opks can be used as early pg detector but who knows. Your temperatures are looking really good.
