Positive opk after a miscarriage

Hi, hoping someone a bit more knowledgable than me can help me figure this out! I had a medically managed miscarriage 9 days ago and have had strong positives on opks for the last 2 days. I know that they pick up hcg so presumed that this was just picking up left over hormones from the pregnancy. Today I had a very faint positive on a pregnancy test so looks as though my hormone levels are nearly back to normal, but the opk is still coming up with a strong positive. The pregnancy test is 10 miu and the opk 20 - so my question is this still just left over hormones when the pregnancy tests are getting lighter and the opks aren't?

Yes we DTD on CD11, CD12, CD13 and probably one more for luck tonight if we can manage it!

I have managed to get cystitis from all this bonking! I have a tiny amount of blood in my urine but determined to fight it off without antibiotics. I've never had to take ABs for cystitis before so I'm hoping this will be the same.

Due to do a final dtd tonight but not sure I'll be able to.

Oh no! I hope it clears up quickly for you. We didn't manage to DTD last night, my DH looked a bit battle weary!

Oh no Allium, how annoying! I used to get recurrent cystitis so I feel your pain! Plenty of fluids and hopefully you will flush it out! I used to take D mannose which is a natural medicine to fight it off!

I potentially have some good news.. I woke up this morning with the intense urge to take one of my clear blues.. And low and behold i got a faint positive! Because it's quite faint I'm going to wait and take another one on Thursday and hopefully it will get darker and be a BFP! Excited and crapping it!

Oh no that's rubish Allium hope it clears up. Got a positive opk first thing this morning so despite my negativity will be furiously dtd the next couple of days.

Yay that's good to know Mel! It was actually a little more clear in real life than in the picture! But let's wait and see on thursday☺️ ... I'm either 10 or 11 dpo depending on when I ovulated after the positive OPK ( which was on the 1st of July )

Yes you're right Allium he was ill a couple of days before OV and I thought for sure I was out for the month! I think I managed 3 nights in a row but def skipped the last one and a couple before.

Once due date of AF passes and line gets darker il feel a bit more relaxed.

We can all do this ladies I'm sure of it! We will all have our time and I couldn't have gotten through this with my sanity intact without you all! So thank you!

Oh and yes with regards to feeling anything the tiredness is definitely getting worse.. Boobs getting more sore! been having crazy vivid dreams the last few nights as well!

FF has me has ovulating on Sat 9th which is what I thought, but it's put AF as being due on Fri 22nd. Now why would it do that? Isn't the luteal phase normally 14 days?

How long was your last leutal phase? I think it goes off your previous cycles.

I'm not familiar with FF, I'm using Ovia for the first time this month. Do you enter any data into FF? For example do you tell it that your cycle is usually 26 days or whatever? Ovia is telling me that AF is due on 25th.

Luteal phase isn't always 14 days, it could be slightly shorter or longer and still be considered normal.

No it hasn't really hit me yet! Perhaps when I see a darker test it will?!

I think the average luteal phase is 12-14 days.. Maybe FF is going off a previous cycle?

The same for this month really, I think I ov'd on Friday and FF says Sat. So AF date is correct.
