Ladies Hoping for BFP In May

Hi everyone...
Hope all your TTC days are nearly over and hopefully getting some positives in May
Thought I would start a thread for is hoping to get their BFP in/around May time so we can share a journey like I did with other women when TTC my DD :)

Some stats....

Age: 25
TTC: #2
Had the mirena coil removed 5 days ago
Really hoping to concieve before my 1st cycle

unimamma Not the test sticks the urine! Ie. pee in cup, wait 20 mins for it to reach room temperature, then test.

I always tested straight away :-/ they definatly still picked up obulation.

So AF disappeared yesterday! So was only 3 days!! Which is amazing as I use to have 5/6 day periods!

Is anyone using apps? I have 2 and are. Oh showing ovulation at 2 different times :-/ confused.
I'm not very good at logging DTD or symptoms if I'm honest lol but still.....can't understand why it's showing 2 different fertile times when I have logged the same AF on both xx

Oops! Wingingit...Thought it was a strange thing to have to do!haha. So dumb at times!
But anyway...I tested straight after and didn't wait at all and mine has still shown clearly when I am and when I'm not ovulating

whhhhy am I having cramps like ovulation just 2 days after AF!! What is going on with my body lol xx

Mummy I know exactly how you feel. My app has been spot on with ovulation the last 2 pregnancies but, if I'm pregnant this time, that puts ovulation around the 4th to 9th not the 13/14th it should have been. I'm in total limbo. Just keep testing and best of luck X

Hi everyone,
I am new on here and hope I will be welcome on your thread and can seek some advice from you all. First of all, good luck to each and every one of you.
I am going slightly mad here I think and wonder if anyone can advise me. I have a lot of vague symptoms that could be pregnancy or not, AF should have come two days ago (though my cycle length varies so I can't be sure). I have had weird spotting, which I never have. I also have an unmistakably off feeling that really reminds me of early pregnancy (I have one other DC). I went out to Tesco and got a two pack of digital tests (they didn't have the other ones). Its one where it comes with two sticks you pee on that are inserted into the digital reader that says pregnant or not pregnant. The result from the digital reader was not pregnant but when I took the stick out to throw it away, there was a definite but very faint second line. Now I am really freaking out and don't know what to think. I plan on testing again in the morning but don't think I'm going to get much sleep tonight with this uncertainty. Has anyone else had this with this type of test? The suspense is killing me!

Novino I got a BFP on day 23 of my cycle but my cycle is often as short as 23 days with ovulation as early as day 9, I would not test so early if you have a normal length cycle.

Novinosincebambino I am due AF on 27th I believe and I caved in this morning and tested...of course BFN!
Your hormones which are picked up on a test slowly start to increase 10-12 days after ovulation, rising to 5mlu around this time (usually) and this amount would be spotted on a blood test. Although early home pregnancy tests are usually 10mlu hence it wouldn't show so soon as this amount is usually visible from 13-14 dpo (and sometimes even longer).
I'd hang in there if I was u as there is little chance it would show although if your like me and I'm just so impatient that either way it just helps me to test (& I have bought a whole load of tests so not expensive) then it won't do any harm.

You are not supposed to break digital tests open as they have the same number of lines whatever the outcome.

I'm pretty sure i missed FW unless i OV'd really late but still holding out hope BFN today but AF not due til Thu and wasnt an early test (don't know why i do it to myself!)

Pretty sure AF is on the way though. Had the typical sore bbs for 4 days which now arent sore anymore.

So the top test is day 8 of cycle and the bottom test is today (day 9 of cycle taken half hour ago) it's definitely lighter! Have I missed my window!!?....surely not this soon into my cycle. I've got really bad ovulation cramps today. I'm so confused x

I got a few like that, lighter, darker, always fluctuating etc but never fully positive, at the beginning of my cycle, but by day 13 there was a massive difference. There was a clear positive, and then each day the test line gradually faded. That's how I knew I was ovulating on that day as the difference was huge. So I wouldn't say that you have ovulated yet. No.
Still no AF for me yet. Tested this morning though and BFN. Due on Thursday!

Just had my first fertility acupuncture, £85 and 3 hours later and lighter I've finally emerged, smelling of roses 😉 This price includes a consultation and first treatment. We talked a lot about fertility, ovulation, fertility window, foods, body chemicals, pregnancy etc really enjoyed the chat! She'll send me a list of food to incorporate into my diet. Will let you know. My 2nd appointment is in 2 weeks.
I'm currently on CD10, DTD on CD5, 7 and 9. She advised to DTD every other day from end of your period all the way through to CD21. Providing I'm usually 28-29 CDs. Which I am. Already changes in CM. "Science" continues till CD21 😉

Well ladies I'm out for this month..Finally arrived today. Even after having no periods for 3 years due to the mirena my cycle is spot on. Atleast I havnt gone over and still wondering I suppose

unimamma we are in the exact same boat with this!! My cycle is running a bit before yours though I'm on day 11 of cycle now so now crossing my fingers for us both to get a BFP in June!
I thought my first period would be hellish after not having one for 3 years but it only lasted 3 days!!

I've had that mummy too with my first on cd6 darker than cd7 but then they've got a bit darker again. This is my first month opking so I'm hoping it will be really obvious when positive! I'm on first day of FW today according to ovia (cd12)
