Ladies Hoping for BFP In May

Hi everyone...
Hope all your TTC days are nearly over and hopefully getting some positives in May
Thought I would start a thread for is hoping to get their BFP in/around May time so we can share a journey like I did with other women when TTC my DD :)

Some stats....

Age: 25
TTC: #2
Had the mirena coil removed 5 days ago
Really hoping to concieve before my 1st cycle

Well...date night was so amazing! Lovely meal and a cheeky drink or 2 :)
We have decided to have a 3 week wait until test day seems like so long to wait! X

Sounds lovely Mummy!! We had a rare afternoon cuddle today so I feel like we've had date night too haha. Yeah I'm tempted by a 3 week wait too so then I don't (hopefully) have any of the squinting at lines stress- it's been bad enough looking at OPKs!! I agree about it seeking ages though- the two weeks since my coil came out has felt like ages so god only knows how 3 weeks will feel!!

On the up side tonight's OPK is definitely darker than yesterday's but will keep testing for a day or two to make doubly sure!!

Last two OPKs have been definite negatives which makes me think the dark one I wasn't sure about was my positive. Now on the 2 week wait...my period was 4 days late last month, I tested after 2 days and was gutted to get a negative. So will try and leave it for a few days more this time and not get my hopes up if AF is late.

CD 35 now.. Thought I'd be out today as had some brown discharge on my pants this morning but nothing when I wiped and absolutely nothing all day today. Still no symptoms either way though! Got some more tests coming in the post so can't test again until at least Tuesday..
When's everyone else testing?

Hi ladies! I hope it's ok for me to join in!

I'm 27 and TTC #1. This is my 4th cycle and AF is due tomorrow. I know I'm not pregnant, as I'm sure I've been ovulating a lot earlier than any of my apps (yes, I have several) predicted.

To be sure for the next cycle, I just went a bit overboard and ordered a bunch of OPKs and a thermometer to start tracking my BBT. I desperately want the next cycle to be it!

Welcome Thefuzz! I've done the same and you and ordered loads of OPKs for the next cycle- starting to get very impatient with this process!!!!

Kate- it sounds like I'm a bit like you this month-tested this morning and BFN... CD 36 for me so looks like I'm in for another long one so annoying how when I actually start to pay attention, my cycles go nuts!
On the plus side, have an appointment with the GP on Friday to go through some test results so at least he'll tell me it's all fine or give me a reason why it's not and we can start doing something about it! (I went a bit earlier than your meant to go to the GP but they've been great and just pushed me along! Mainly blamed my visit on irregular AF...)

Am I the only one that gets excited over the slightest twinge? if I get a sicky feeling I'm always getting my hopes up haha..really trying not to.
I can feel ovulation coming on this week wahoooo busy week for me :)

Cycle #1. I've got the dreaded two week wait and I'm so impatient, I can't stay off google, even thought the logical part of my brain is telling me chill my boots, I'm never going to see any symptoms...

I think it won't happen this month because we didn't get many chances to try when it counted, but I'm so hopeful. I'm really longing for this. Fingers crossed for everyone!

I'm about having a meltdown with OPKs. Had some dark ones (but not quite positive by my reckoning) then yesterday they were faint (but it could have just been v dilute pee) and now today they are darker again??!!??!! Losing the plot!! Considering hibernating at the moment!!

AF due 18th
was using OPKs a few months ago and seemed ok, tracking using "glow" app at present but going back to the OPKs if no joy this month. GP said inital bloods ok but having blood ovulation test next week. Starting to get a bit frustrated. Grr .

Hi just wanted to share a little positivity after 2 years - BFP yesterday and today - third conception in 18m - terrible mc Christmas 2014 - full year of nothing but trying - conceived again Jan 2016 with miscarriage on 7y old sons birthday in February - fingers crossed that this one sticks and good luck to everyone this month x

Stopped pill last month, before I was on it had 35 day cycle so going off that but aware I could be all over the pkace so planning on DTD regularly in the hope of catching the right moment. DH keeps telling me to relax and just let nature take its course and feels that testing and charting will be stressful rather than enjoyable so resisting at the moment.

I went off the pill for about 8 months prior to trying, then my skin inexplicably flared up before an extremely important event so I started taking the pill again for one cycle - just to calm my skin in the run up to the event (lots of photos). Went off it again, so not sure how fucked up my hormones will be. I wish I hadn't had to try the pill again, but no skincare/diet was working!

With multiple friends giving birth/announcing pregnancies in the last few days I am so broody! The darn two week wait is nearly killing me and I've still got 10 days to go...

KentCat - I use Ovia, Glow, FertilityFriend and Clue. So far I think Clue is the most accurate in predicting my period and fertile window, but going to use OPKs to be sure this month.

AF arrived yesterday but I'm not really gutted, I knew last month wasn't it, and I'm feeling really positive about this cycle. I mentioned to my GP that we're TTC and she ordered a ton of blood tests for me, which I had done last week. Now just waiting for the results. GP said this was routine, but in my paranoia I can't help but wonder if she thought something was wrong - my cycle is only about 24 days... We've been TTC for less than 6 months, but I hope everything will come out fine with the results!

So yesterday I had the shits a upset stomach along with being sick twice in the evening which is just my luck as its ovulation week!! OPK positive but was too sick to even attempt to go at it! Me being me impatient done a test as reliable Google told me it is a early sign....of course it was BFN but wishful thinking ay haha only 12 days post coil removal so didn't get my hopes up
Luckily my stomach is better tonight so tonight will (fingers crossed) be the night!

Congrats Pixie I have everything crossed for you!!!

Further to the OPK discussion I've decided that possibly I missed my peak and just got some "high" readings around it as today's test with good concentrated urine and at about 4pm has hardly showed a second line. Much lighter than with diluted urine from the weekend so I'm guessing I'm still on track for the CD14/15 ovulation that I suspected based on OPKs! Going to lay off the OPKs now that they've bottomed out a bit and just relax for a couple of weeks- see what happens!

Well today has been a horrid stressful day in the office and then came home to find the gearbox in the car has gone meaning we can't reverse! Normally take these things in my stride but tonight burst into tears on my lovely husband. I just find my emotions are all over the place these days.

I've been testing using the same brand of Internet cheapie FRER. 3 from one batch and 1 from a new batch... Should I try a different brand? Surely with my period about 10 days late I wouldn't even need a fr now.

Kate I'm on same CD as you! Last month I ended up getting AF tomorrow so I'm going to wait until Friday to test again as had BFN on Monday. So annoying! Pretty sure it's a BFN though as the last time we DTD was two weeks ago this Friday so pretty unlikely!!!!! Hopefully you have more luck than me

Thanks for all lovely message started light bleed - so early scan arranged for Monday 16th may - another 2 ww!
