Ladies Hoping for BFP In May

Hi everyone...
Hope all your TTC days are nearly over and hopefully getting some positives in May Grin
Thought I would start a thread for is hoping to get their BFP in/around May time so we can share a journey like I did with other women when TTC my DD :)

Some stats....

Age: 25
TTC: #2
Had the mirena coil removed 5 days ago
Really hoping to concieve before my 1st cycle Hmm

Look forward to hearing some good news from you all x

Thanks ladies!! If she shows up then I've got a bottle of Prosecco here to help my sulk!! And it does also mean that I can have a short respite from hayfever/allergies as I can take my antihistamines again- the only ones that work on my ridiculous face are the ones that doctors won't advise for use during pregnancy so I now have to not take them "just in case"!! Yes, I'm aware that this makes me a full on sad act!!

Think I'm out for this month. Thanks to MC in Feb I am now spotting so think I'm having my second period in 2 weeks. Oh joy.

Funny enough I also had to avoid some prescribed cream, just in case, DH said! Well, got BFN in the past 2 days which makes me think it was too early to test! Since my OV shifted last month, I think AF must have shifted too although it's nothing yet at this moment. Hanging in there

I think it's definitely sad that I'm more pissed off about not being able to take my antihistamines than I am about not being able to drink though haha!! So desperate to test today but know there's probably no point until I'm late! Eating pancakes with chocolate on instead...

CD33 17dpo - sore/tended symptoms disappeared this morning. Usually indicates AF arriving in style immeninently but nothing so far. Brown-ish discharge inside, nothing on the panties. God, this is dragging! Still haven't used my cream just in case! Mad or what! Food shopping time....

Hi ladies. I'm new to here, I'm TTC which is tricky as I have PCOS and no periods since coming off pill year ago. However I ovulated according to CB 16 days ago and took test this morning. Can anyone see hint of a line here?! Any input would be welcome! X

I can't seem to make out another line but u may be able to see more clearly in person. If you think there is something then I'd just wait a few days and then test again.

Hi all have only just got a chance to come on and catch up on all the posts.

Welcome all the newbies :)
I've had a manic 24 hrs my rabbit gave birth very unexpected and I am now hand rearing 3 kits...feeding every hour for the next month....,yawn tired is a understatement .

unimamma so glad to see someone else in the same boat as me coming off the mirena! I caved and done a test this morn been really emotional and getting cramps but was a BFN of course. Going by a 28 day cycle AF should be due in 5 days I don't think this is going to be my month :( :( starting to feel devastated but in the back of my head in just hoping it's too early to test xx

So did a FRER this morning and I swear I see the squintiest of lines. Probably wishful thinking though- especially as I'm due on today!! Will wait a few days and see what happens! Still no antihistamines for me...

Age 30, ttc #1, started 2 days ago. Never taken any hormonal contraception and my cycles are regular as clockwork so i know i was ovulating this weekend Smile

Well, well, AF finally got me this morning! I'll trust my boobs next time as they never let me down pre-AF arrival. I'll never know why my OV day shifted last month and why I ended up with 34 CDs this time! Due to change of countries, from Iraq, permanently returning to the UK, due to unexpected redundancy which was done in a horrific way which prompted me to engage a solicitor to deal with it, it caused me a great deal of stress and upset, I won't lie.
Disappointed about this cycle but must be realistic about this journey and be aware of my age. Became 40 last month. Oh well, marching on, head high...

Well ladies it looks like I'm jumping on the AF bus too this morning :( :( started to feel cramps, went toilet, wee, wipe, witch ! Lol.
Absolutely devastated.

But,
At least I know my cycle now after my coil I'm going to think of this as my first period since it coming out so fingers crossed next month we can concieve xx

Aww no Mummy! At least you havnt had to have an agonising wait if AF was late. Great that your thinking of the positives now knowing your cycles. From what I've read it is so difficult in your first cycles after mirena so at least now uve had a proper AF your in with a much better chance. Fingers crossed for next O.
I have been in absolute agony these past few days. Think I ovulated on Tuesday just gone but since Wednesday the cramps in my stomach and back are crippling me to the point where I need to sit down.
I have no idea what is going on, maybe this is me getting AF too??!
Well if AF is due when I think it will be 26th so alls I can do is hang in there!
It doesn't help that I go away on 23rd so AF will probs arrive when I'm sunbathing!
Plus we are unable to even TTC next month as I go away again on 4th-19th!

wingingit I'm not exactly sure of my cycle as my coil came out on 21st April, had a 4 day bleed from 23rd-26th April. Ovulation happened first week in May ( I always feel ovulation) and AF came today....if I go by my first bleed to be AF then that would make me on a 18 day cycle....? If I've done my maths right haha, I could be wrong (counting from last day of 1st bleed to first day of 2nd bleed) is that right?
That seems like a VERY short cycle! Unless I assume that the first bleed was just a hormone change reaction from the coil coming out....but it was heavy for a good 2 days.
Before my coil I use to have normally a 30 day cycle so I am a bit confused...

I have been a pain in the ass today! My partner and I never argue about anything never have....but today we have had 3 arguments! I'm so snappy :( I feel absolutely gutted and having cramps is not helping in the slightest.

Had a conversation with my partners gf today it was so so hard (for those that haven't read all previous posts...she got her BFP last week) she was saying how she done 3 tests and got all positives and that she has a midwife appointment next week. It was so so so hard to try keep a happy face when inside I just wanted to cry.
My partner keeps reminding me that we said we won't let it get us down if it doesn't happen straight away and that ok it hasn't happened this month but who's to say it won't next month. But in my head all I hear is I DIDNT GET PREGNANT THIS MONTH .
TTC is so hard....so many emotions. The last 3 weeks have felt like months and now I haven't to wait another month :( xx

Aww I feel for you Mummy! I really hope that it all happends for you this cycle!

I'm going out of my mind..my stomach has really swollen over the past few days (I swear I look 20 weeks gone it is so bloated) and all night I've been suffering from acid reflux, pains on and off as though AF is going to arrive. The only time in my life that I have had acid reflux is during pregnancy but it's only been a week!
It's horrible reading into every sign and symptom. I really feel like this month isn't the month due to the pains I'm getting!
Still another 8 days until AF is due!!

I'm still hanging in there. One week today until I believe AF is due. I fly to Alcudia on Monday though so I think I'm going to test the day before just in case. Plus I'm going to take some tests with me. I hate waiting!

Hi Mummy, I'm not sure actually... Thought AF had come but it was very light and disappeared completely after 3 days. Now wondering if it was implantation bleeding. Trying not to get my hopes up but will test after the weekend.

I'm still waiting on a clear positive. Tested again this morning and got a slightly darker but still faint line. Hoping that maybe I ovulated later than I thought and I'm just very early to test. Still no signs of AF!! you watch her turn up this afternoon now

Thinking of you all. I'm going to start opking for the first time this month as AF nearly over. I bought some from amazon and they say the sample should be at room temperature before testing. ..that's a bit of a faff and not the quick 'pee and dip' i was expecting -is that essential do you think?

I bought mine from amazon (white and green packet). I stored them in the cupboard in the bathroom and literally used it as soon as I got it out of the cupboard.
Unless it's been in a hot or cold area surely it should already be at room temperature. Mine seemed to work fine anyway.
