Ladies Hoping for BFP In May

Hi everyone...
Hope all your TTC days are nearly over and hopefully getting some positives in May Grin
Thought I would start a thread for is hoping to get their BFP in/around May time so we can share a journey like I did with other women when TTC my DD :)

Some stats....

Age: 25
TTC: #2
Had the mirena coil removed 5 days ago
Really hoping to concieve before my 1st cycle Hmm

Look forward to hearing some good news from you all x

Ooh thanks for the tips! I am having a lap and dye so hopefully it has the same effect on me! I don't have a date yet but you've cheered me up. Anything which offers a chink of hope right?!

Apparently it can open up the passage in the tubes by whooshing fluid down.. Maybe massive coincidence but for us we conceived next month on after having tried for 18months..

Congratulations Indecisive that's great news.

I've had sharp pains in my breasts today and some sharp abdominal pains. I poas even though my miscarriage was only 3 weeks ago Blush Of course it was a bfn. Not even sure why I tested now. I expect the sharp pains are due to pregnancy hormones left over from the miscarriage.

Got some more tests in the post, trying to resist the urge to do one, period due on Saturday, do you think its still too early to do one in the morning? Don't want another bfn ...

rosey personally.....depends on how many I have in the draw I would do them the week building up to AF due :) because I am impatient like that! I have 40 ready to be tested haha I even done one today knowing it would be BFN but I just couldn't resist any longer haha.
Because I don't know if the bleed I had after my coil came out was my period I'm just assuming it was, so I should be due AF on the 18th so a week today. (I've estimated a 28 day cycle as I have no idea haven't had a period for 3 years) could be later could be sooner I really have no clue. My fertile days were from 1st-5th I definatly ovulated that week (posts OPK pic earlier on in this post) xx

Where do you all buy your tests from? I'd love to test more often but the tests are so expensive.

I always get a bulk buy on eBay of test strips pay about £4 for 50 early testing ones x

No such luck :( and I'm starting to feel period cramping so not feeling very positive about it, also a bit concerned as to what the bleeding I had could be? If it's not implantation bleeding then I should probably go to the docs. A few more days left so I suppose I shouldn't lose hope completely, it's not over till it's over!

Ladies....I think AF is going to be arriving next week for sure!
I'm having a break out on my face 3 huge spots!!! Ahh! I am so religious with my facial routine and haven't had spots for a very long time! This does not happen lol. Noooooo xx

So I caved ( lasted less than a cycle) and downloaded ovia and stocked up on opks and pg tests!
At least logging data each day will give me something to do in this endless waiting game.

A lot of us seem to be due AF in the next few days, sprinkling anti-AF dust at all of you xxx

Hi ladies!
I'm so glad to find this thread so I hope you don't mind me tagging on!
I'm in the dread 2ww and feeling so many symptoms but also very worried in fining myself a phantom pregnancy as its all I think about! I can be obsessive! (Is what the husband thinks anyway!)
So.. I'm currently on 14 DPO and all I've had so far is BFN but thinking I've been testing too early!!
I'm off some foods, smells are more apparent! The worst period pains! Though not sure on for 3 days yet! Terrible back pain especially in my lower sides! Has anyone else felt like this too?

Pretty sure my period has turned up today, brownish discharge after peeing. And it's two days early and I can normally predict my period to the hour, suppose it's better earmy than late in these circumstances

Rosey I don't want to give you false hope but I had brown dc in the few days before my Bfp. I think was the implantation bleed..

Thanks for your positivity indecisive but she is well and truly here in full flow :/ and with horrible cramps to boot! Was really hoping for some good news for my birthday next week, ah well at least I can have a few g & t s for my birthday

I've just had the same thing with the brown blood type thing after I peed and not due on until Sunday. So hoping its implantation bleed and not AF!! Confused

Hi there, here's my little story of TTC#1 for a baby#1
OV - on CD16 (usually CD13)
6dpo - vomiting and diarrhoea as soon as I woke up. Never experienced anything like it before! When reading on Internet, it might be a sign of implantation on 5dpo. Experienced no blood spotting.
Between 7dpo-13dpo - some days was feeling nauseous in the morning snd sometimes no symptoms at all. And no PMS or AF symptoms leading to AF week.
Was expecting AF on CD29 - nothing.
Cd30 - still no signs of AF or any other symptoms
CD31 (15dpo) - took first PG test - BFN. Did 3 times that morning and still negative. And yet no signs of AF. Boobs started hurting very late at night. And noticed some pink discharge inside. Nothing on the panties.
Today CD32 - (16dpo) - took another PG test this morning - another BFN. Boobs are very sore. But no discharge inside.
I've never been that late and just dont know what to think about it all. Apart from waiting, I guess.
Is anybody experiencing the same? And has anybody been in the same boat before? And could advise?

I hope you don't mind me tagging on this thread. I am new to this site.

So...

I am 25 and I had the mirena coil out on 27th April 2016. Although it seems like a life time ago! This is the first time I've 'tried' to conceive.
I bled on 28th for 4 days..progressing each day and very very strong cramps in my lower stomach and back. I never had a period whilst on the mirena...a few days random spotting here and there but never a full period. Oh my did I forget how horrid period pains are!!

Anyway last week I did 2 opk and both negative..I then did my next one on Wednesday AM and it was very strong positive. We DTD Sunday morning and night and Monday night but not Tuesday so I hope I havnt missed the chance for this month! I did another opk Thursday am and almost, although I think slightly less dark lines. Another opk Thursday pm and half as prominent lines. Another this am and nothing. So looks like the O has been and gone.

Today and yesterday I have strong PMS type pains in my lower abdomen and back...I've read that this can be due to conception but I know it's literally only been 3 days! My left breast is tingly and slightly tender, although they do go like this sometimes throughout the month...I'm just not sure when as I've never monitored anything before.

Anyway I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm going to test next Sunday 22nd. I am thinking that AF is due on 26th.
I am also worried as I have read that miscarriage is more common straight after mirena!

This has been such a stressful 2 weeks..it's all I ever think about and it's nice to see other people's stories!

MummyTo1TTC2 i have noticed that you have also recently had the mirena taken out. I never get spots and I am now starting to! I was told it could be to change in hormones after the coil...and also on my last pregnancy I broke out in spots just before I found out. So it may be totally irrelevant to you or you could be the same. Don't rule it out yet!Smile

I am in a very similar situation to you uni

I agree with you on the spot front- I look like a hormonal teenager at the moment which is delightful!! Spots everywhere and my hair is horrible at the moment- could be unrelated but very unusual for me!!

Anyway test day Sunday as AF is due but not holding out a lot of hope. No symptoms of any description- not even the backache that I would usually associate with AF/PMS so who knows?!?! Fingers crossed all!!

A lot of people have no symptoms until weeks into the pregnancy, apart from the bad skin, I didn't notice anything else before 4-5 weeks with my first.
I wish I could test on Sunday! Jealous!
