SMEP plan this month ?

Hi all,
Me and dh have decided to do the famous SMEP plan this month ! Anyone else attempting it ?
We were supposed to do it last month but life got in the way :)
A few stats age 27 ttc#1 cycle 2
Currently on cd3 starting the smep is plan on cd8

Morning all ,
11dpo here and still no symptoms to report have only clearblue dogital tests at home and dont wont to waist them so i will test satirday or subday if af does not show up (which i highly doubt it )

Don't get yourself down too much Nicky (I know that's easier said than done). We will both be better next month!

I had a heart to heart with DH last night after he questioned why I wasn't more pushy with enforcing dtd (errr duh because then you can't finish!) so we agreed that next month we will be absolutely dedicated to dtd every other day. Wish me luck

Fiddle as if the stress of ttc is not big enough we are also actively looking to buy a house so i think i will drive myself mad soon enough !

I will also start temping as soon as af arrives !
Hope to dtd on the 14th this month(so fully commit to smep)

I admit is hard work :)

Well SMEP went out the window at the weekend. DH got drunk at the wedding we were at and didn't want to leave early (I drove because I'm not drinking) so was too tired when we got home. Then point blank refused last night and we had an argument about it.
So this means now that we only DTD 3 times - and only twice over my fertile period. Absolutely gutted. He'd promised me that we'd try harder this month after he saw how upset I got last AF.
It's bloody hard, isn't it?

baby don't beat yourself up, I know how hard it is, life just gets in the way. My DH and I had a similar him getting drunk/tired situation last weekend and then I thought what a cheeky bugger he was for suggesting we hadn't made enough effort! I've come to realise there's always a reason not to but dtd is necessary so no excuses next month for us.

I've had some lower tummy pangs today but deep down I know it's just my body getting ready for AF on Friday.

Sorry haven't posted for a while. My DD got chickenpox which made for an exciting week. Didn't quite manage SMEP this month and I can feel my body gearing up for AF at the end of the week. Feel PMS-y today and a bit crampy too. Oh well. Fingers crossed for the rest of you though

Hi bindi aww your poor DD, hope she's feeling better now? Seriously, don't worry, I'm 90% certain this isn't our month either so I'll most likely be joining you then too!! Seems like most of us are due AF this Easter weekend, I expect to start spitting on Thurs and AF on Friday so only have one more day of false hope to deal with.

How's everyone getting on today? I'm due spotting today and full blown AF tomorrow, my body definitely has felt like it's been preparing for AF the last couple of days so now it's just a waiting game!

Me too!! Did you say your AF is usually punctual? Mine is and there's at least some solace in that!

Well I have had my first post mc af now. That's me cd8 so officially started smeping

Thank you girls, I'm going to do a CB digital with FMU tomorrow to make sure I'm not totally out of my mind!

So we woke up at 5am having barely slept all night to do more tests to confirm it and there it was - CB digi pregnant 1-2 weeks. Lots of happy tears ensued and now we can't get back to sleep!!!
