Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 10, Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome.

alice don't worry I'm sure you dtd enough in your fw, only one spermy is needed!
DH last night couldn't 'finish' last night either - but it was a day after ovulation so chances should have been slim anyway and we dtd plenty in days before. Fx

snow interesting about the prog cream, I've read about it myself this week too and was debating whether to try it in a few cycles. Fx for you that it works but I'll secretly be gutted if you hop off the bus and leave us

CD16 / 1 dpo here. Apparently I ovulated on CD15 this cycle instead of CD14 (could have been the soy).
Hoping I dtd enough :( does dtd on CD11,12,13,14 sound enough to everyone?

alice ikwym, it messes with your head, and when you've decided on a pattern of when to dtd, not doing it once makes you all irrational and think "we'll obviously I'm not going to get pregnant this month!" All it takes is one sperm!

I'm irrational today! I was feeling so positive last week and now I'm not at all. Lack of cm, lack of any notable symptoms. Long bastard cycle! Still only 10 dpo! I've got another 12 days before af is due!

I have absolutely no idea when/if I'll ov but FF says I've got two more days to go, hopefully DH can be a bit more in the mood over the next few days. I'm disproportionately pissed off! Not showing it though, I'd feel horrible if it was the other way around, like coercion Confused

Stark lack of notable symptoms doesn't mean you're out. I've been a cm free zone and have only had v slightly sore nipples the last few days. Everything crossed for you ( including face - attractive!)

Lyssie sorry you've had a crappy day. Are there pancakes on the horizon at least?

We haven't had pancakes. We are living in France at the moment and their pancake day was last week, which we also didn't have pancakes for. Feel like a heathen!!

Hi feef! Are you in fw already? I'm so confused because Glow thinks my fw starts on Friday, and Ovia thinks it starts on Tuesday - that's a whole 5 days difference! So to answer your question moggy my strategy this month is to just dtd every other day from when AF ended til AF starts (if I can sustain that!). I tried opks last month but they confused me and OH accused me of being militant! So now I want to be a bit more relaxed but also dtd more...if that makes sense.

Also, I bought some pre-seed equivalent in boots yesterday (think called fertility balance or something like that) - didn't expect it to have an applicator! I don't want to freak OH out with it so will prob apply it in private, but what if he then isn't actually up for dtd and its wasted???! Lol!

For those who have tried it, for it make sex feel very different?

meadow not obsessive - I do about 3 opk's per day in fw (if I can).it can change quickly.

starky must be horrible having long cycles, I feel for you ladies that have to wait ages to know whether it's a bfp or not!

Hey Harriet, we've started using preseed with the applicators. It made us laugh- seems a bit strange at first but didn't put either of us off! I load it up before I get into bed quickly, we fool around and then after a bit of foreplay, quickly grab it and it takes literally a second to do. Otherwise, you can use it before you go to bed, up to 30 mins I think? But then it kinda limits foreplay. It feels more wet, DH liked it lol. And it made the whole thing less messy as everything seemed to stay inside for hours afterwards! I'm interested to see if it does for you too as it surprised me the first time!

Sorry you're feeling down kat - I'm trying to find hope in the thread BFPs - every one is a miracle we all know how hard it is. My first BFP took 12 months (granted I was not as well versed in the TTC as I am now!) but sadly ended in mc. Still I have high hopes for this time around. We are all here for each other and I'm so happy to have a lovely, extremely funny bunch to share every down, niggle, CM, fart and weepy tit tendencies with. Oh look at gushy me! I've gone from raging to gushy - def pre AF!

meadow, the best time to dtd can be before you even get the positive OPK. Some people can ovulate really quickly after the OPK detects a surge (12 -36 hours is the average but it can be sooner or later) and you're most fertile the few days before ovulation (not after) so don't wait until that positive OPK to dtd as you might miss valuable fertile days! Interestingly I read that the older you get, the shorter the time between positive OPK and ovulation.

Nipples have gone back to being sore again, especially the left one. DH came up behind me today and had a squeeze and I almost jumped in the air because it's so sore.

Thanks guys, think tonight we are going to leave it as I'm absolutely knackered and have a headache. I am CD12, my periods appear to be all over the place though. Fertility Friend says my FW doesn't start until Thursday but I don't think it is accurate as I haven't been using it long and it seems my cycle is about 15 days...I haven't long come off depo though so I'm hoping it will get longer, but my cycle was like that before I went on birth control soo I might be out of luck on that score. I would book to see a gynae but I think it could be months on a waiting list and I think if it doesn't happen within the next couple of months we will leave it awhile and then come back to it because of ~life stuff~.
