Thread 10 ttc#1 The one where we're all really bored of hormones, the tww and cervical mucus or Why is my eggo not preggo!?

Symptom spotters, tww - ers, slightly hysterical hormone laden ladies! Regs, lurkers, intermittent posters! Our raison d'etre is 'am I pregnant?' Depending on how much Ovia (Whybird/Ovibitch) has pissed us off/messed with our fw she is either the oracle or a sanctimonious charlatan.

Just a warning, we move FAST! Our threads last on average, about a week before they're full.

Thread 10, Welcome one and all! Group of weirdos, wee hoarders, covert opk or okp, depending on what your autocorrect decides addicts with a side business in CM management!

We do not judge, we enjoy TMI, we i encourage waiting to poas nobody listens and all the grossness you can find from a group of intelligent, articulate ladies. Fart stories make us laugh, stories about cervical mucus, pooing, cysts and nausea equally welcome.

Post your stats and add your dates. We have a register thanks to kat, I have been dubbed the resident piss stick queen loaaaaaads of bfp'ers who keep us positive! We don't have rules, we love a good symptom spot, we try to stay grounded and not be hysterical sometimes we manage it aswell

We like acronyms, we make some up: PET = Proper expensive test. We love the d(h)...which can of course mean 'dearest' or 'dickhead' why, what were you thinking?

Starky 29, Cycle 2. Cd 25 (of a 37-42 average) 8dpo, no notable cm today. Jelly legs have been a real problem this week, as has Vibro-tum. Roll on next week for the end of purgatory the tww.

? 11dpo, sore boobs and very sensitive nipples. Felt a bit sick on waking today

Cthulhoo · 07/02/2016 18:09

Kat: EPO = Evening Primrose Oil. I've seen it mentioned frequently as something that can increase cervical mucus.

KatOnATinRo0f · 07/02/2016 18:15

that would make a whole entire world more sense!! Does it actually work???

Sorry you're feeling down Ctul. Sending hugs and chocolates Brew Cake Chocolate

Come on eggo, let's get preggo Grin Jem! Will try not to mutter that while dtd this week. FW starts tomorrow according to ovia but I've had EWCM since fri. Kind of hope she's wrong as we've managed to dtd a few times over the weekend but are a bit crap at fitting it in during the week.

Not sure if this will work for you too but I find it works if we DTD when I get in from work, rather than when we go to bed, as always just ready to sleep as soon as it get past about 10pm zzzzzZZZZ

Feeling a lot more positive now and also have decided not to obsess like I did last month!! I'll still use opks as my period is so irregular and I may temp too. I'm taking EPO up until ovulation and I've cut my caffeine intake to one-two coffees a day, otherwise I'm drinking fertility boosting herbal teas. Also mindful of what I'm eating. Just need to make time for some exercise. Fx for all of you this cycle Smile

firstgo1984 · 07/02/2016 18:56

A few little cramps this evening. I assune this is a fair sign AF may appear in a couple of days

Cycle 6 :(
CD 27 of a 26 (or so I thought) day cycle. Awaiting imminent AF and wishing it would hurry up so I could get rid of this glimmer of hope!
Symptoms- v tender and swollen boobs. Other than that, nada.

Kathrino · 07/02/2016 19:16

Been a bit absent recently as nothing much to report but glad I found the new thread!

Kathrino, 32
Currently CD4 of cycle 3 so bang in the middle of AF.

Doubt February will be our month but we just booked our accommodation for our belated honeymoon in April/May so it won't be the worst thing in the world if I remain unpreggo until then. NB there might be an element of reverse psychology in my thinking...

Cthulhoo, lots of ThanksThanksThanksThanksThanks for you.

LillianFullStop · 07/02/2016 19:18

Sorry you are feeling down ct - I hope the lovely ladies here will help in some way to cheer you up. It's a stressful time for all of us but I'm glad we have this thread

kat a wedding in Greece sounds amazing esp when your DH organised it all and all you have to do is enjoy it! You're not out yet though!

I'm planning to start the gym again myself this week - being fit and healthy is meant to make for an easier pregnancy and childbirth... look at optimistic me 4 days until I'm due to test!

Been trying since Sept 2014. Irregular periods since coming off pill - just 3 in 18 months. Had mc at 9 weeks the week before Xmas. No idea what's going to happen to cycle now or when gp will consider referring me again to fertility dept.

CD 14 / 28 - ovulation day today! Dtd on CD 11-13 and will again tonight so I'm really hoping this cycle is the one. But I'll be holding out for a starky Star and poas on CD28 who am I kidding

ElleSarcasmo · 07/02/2016 19:24

Oh just saw that Jem! Smile That is a good idea about trying to do it after work...I have told DH he needs to shag me tomorrow (romantic!)...we'll see what happens!

Fx for you Kat, you totally deserve some good news! Flowers

How are you doing Bellini?

KatOnATinRo0f · 07/02/2016 19:27

Zazzle yup poas this morning - IC and sainsburys own brand both bigfatnada.
A tiny piece of me is really hoping they just aren't sensitive enough to detect it yet and AF won't arrive... But I think she's just teasing me. V mild cramps starting now so I guess she'll turn up. Maybe even before midnight and then she won't even end up late after all just pissing me off all day by not being here already!!

ElleSarcasmo · 07/02/2016 19:28

Holly what teas are meant to boost fertility? Drink a ton of herbal/fruit teas anyway so may as well try to drink the right ones! I am trying to get healthy too, have started exercising more and trying to eat 'healthy'.

Have any of you using EPO noticed a difference in CM?

SuchaJem · 07/02/2016 19:31

Sorry about your mc maple, hope 2016 brings you better luck. Have you asked your GP to refer you at all?
