Oh mrs I am so sorry that you are in so much pain. Your decision is totally understandable, I really hope things work out for you. Take a bit of time to feel better and maybe plan something nice for yourself (holiday??) And really hope to hear some good news from you in the future. Wishing you all the best xx

sunshinegirl12 · 05/06/2016 00:25

Mrsunsure, sorry to hear you are feeling so down esp as the last few weeks you have been able to stay so positive. I do understand that sometimes it's necessary to take a step back from all this ttc stuff, maybe do as Jess mentioned and focus on planning a holiday or special weekend away for you and DH. I would even recommend acupuncture, even if you don't necessarily go to help ttc but just to balance your whole body in terms of stress and take an hour out of every week just to totally relax and have a chat about everything. Flowers

sunshinegirl12 · 05/06/2016 00:28

Jess, how are you feeling? Any symptoms?

I'm only CD6, still getting pink spotting where as usually by now AF would be finished, just really hoping I actually ovulate this month. Hmm

JessJR23 · 06/06/2016 14:34

Hi sunshine have been having period type cramps since my BFP and am tired (but always am!) Last week I was ravenous and really really moody but am ok this week:) are you having acupuncture atm? Xx

Friendlycav · 06/06/2016 17:45

Congrats MrsMugoo and Jess.

Hugs Mrsunsure, I know how you feel Flowers

Sorry for being quiet on here. I've been feeling disillusioned and that I've tried everything to no avail. My best friend also told me she is pregnant so although I'm thrilled for her, it's hard. I've had 4 cycles of cyclogest now with no luck. DH is away with work for 2 weeks now so we are already out for this cycle :( Sunshine, like you, I'm now going to focus on improving my egg quality and try not to obsess about ttc. I'm seeing a naturopath and going to start living again rather than putting my life on hold, not looking for new jobs, going on holiday etc. I hope you are doing ok, how are you getting on with the Chinese Herbs? x

sunshinegirl12 · 07/06/2016 20:26

Nice to hear from you Friendly, though sorry to hear you've also been feeling down. It's so hard when friends tell you they're pregnant, my best friend is also pregnant (unplanned after being with her boyfriend for about a month!).

I think things are going ok with the chinese herbs although last cycle was my first month on them though I didn't ovulate and started AF on CD17!! But I'm putting that down to the apimist which I've stopped now. This cycle is going ok so far but my bbt does seem lower than usual. Hmm. How are you doing with the naturopath?

Glad you are doing ok Jess and not having any horrible symptoms yet, did you get morning sickness in your first pregnancy? x

Friendlycav · 08/06/2016 20:08

I've only had one session with the naturopath so far. I found it quite interesting and she has made some general suggestions on how I can improve my lifestyle and also some other tests I could have such as DHEAS and a hypo-thyroid check. Not sure whether to go ahead as all these tests obviously cost more money. But these tests are cheaper than going for private IVF if I have to go down that road.

DH is away for the next 2 weeks so know these is no chance for us this cycle. It's actually quite liberating to have the pressure off x

I use 2x 400mg suppositories daily (in the back door, 1 every 12 hours). I've found that I get a slightly upset stomach and I'm a bit gassy (sorry tmi) but it's nothing too bad. I start taking it 3 days after ovulation and I continue to 14dpo and then test. Good luck Mrs x

You can do either front or back door. I've heard that the back door is more effective and less messy. You can start cyclogest as soon as you've ovulated (progesterone inhibits ovulation so that's why you shouldn't take it before) and you'll know for sure with ovulation tracking. I do three days after just to be double sure I've ovulated as temping/OPKs aren't always that accurate. I hope all goes well at your next appt x

I think I'm going to give it another couple of cycles and then go back to the consultant to see if there is anything else I can try (clomid?) before considering IVF. Cyclogest extends my luteal phase until I test and stop taking it (AF then arrives 2-3 days later) so I def think it's a helping hand and I still have hopes that it's going to work for me! x

JessJR23 · 09/06/2016 21:12

Hey mrs glad to hear you have got something sorted. Nice to hear you sounding positive again :) sunshine hope the Chinese medicine works for you this month. When are you due to ovulate again? I am ok so far, just really tired some days. Had a nap this evening! Few mild cramps too but no sickness yet!

I never had spotting, my LP was just 8 days. Took 48 hours after ovulation and all worked out. Hope it works for you, everything crossed. I think after the mc having it to keep my pg levels sustained was such a reassurance for me.

I'm fine thanks, 35 weeks on Sunday. Can't believe I'm near the end. I won't relax until he is here and safe though.
