I've had all the tests, next step is IVF but personally I don't feel like we've been ttc long enough yet to go down that route.

How are you getting on now? Is everyone else ok? x

Ah no, sorry to hear this Mrsunsure, I definitely think you should speak to the clinic, are you still having the scans to check for follicles?

I'm also at 6dpo and have been having some cramps already and lots of creamy cm, have been a bit worried that its AF coming early Sad Tbh have felt a bit down lately, so frustrated with it all and I do keep getting negative moments thinking that if it hasn't happened by now it probably never will. Sad

It is so frustrating when you are doing everything right and it still isn't working out. I have been doing a lot of googling today about the constant cramps throughout the luteal phase and it seems quite a few people do get this every month, even the cycles that they got their BFP. But as soon as I start getting them I just assume I'm out. I hope you don't mind me asking but do you remember if you got the cramps the cycle you got your BFP before?

I'm going to be starting on the chinese herbs next cycle, and will stick with the royal jelly stuff and Co Q10 in the hope they make my eggs better. Think I will also try totally cutting out caffeine and alcohol as these past few months have been a bit busier than normal and I have been indulging a little more. I don't really know what else I can try. Hmm

Just checking in. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time Mrs. Hope things work out soon.

Sunshine I'm like you dint know what else to try..

I realised I had absolutely no idea what cycle day I was on, dot know wh. I ovulated as haven't taken BBT or filled in my chart on FF

We got a puppy and so everything I've googled has been to do with that and as I've been up in the night taking it to the toilet I've had a lot of e only reason I checked to see what cycle day I was on was because yesterday I had cramp on my left side and a bit of spotting in my underwear. I'm cycle day 25 and usually ovulate cycle day 18ish so who knows.

I'd completely forgotten about TTC.

My follow up appointment for gynaecologist to discuss HSG results isn't until July!!!

Ah Mrs, hope you get your progesterone!! I think it's so unfair they won't let people just try it and see if you have a short LP! It might work, it might not but why can't you just try! Still lurking ladies and rooting for you, answers have got to be in sight. In the meantime I'd say don't cut everything out, bodies take time to get used to one change and too many changes can confuse things!

sunshinegirl12 · 12/05/2016 09:36

That all sounds positive Mrsunsure and its always good to have a plan in place.

Sunshine, glad you're ok and have managed to put ttc out of your head, I wish I could do the same.

I'm feeling miserable, I'm only 8dpo and last night had quite a bit of brown spotting. Some cycles I have an 11 day luteal phase with no spotting and other months like this one, my cycle is rubbish. I do think I also need progesterone but there is no way they will give it to me as far as the consultants are concerned my cycles and progesterone levels are fine. I do have a pot of natural progesterone cream at home that I haven't tried yet, I'm not sure if I should give it a go next month??

I'm seeing my acupuncturist later who should have my chinese herbs and also bought a jar of apimist which is meant to do wonders for fertility, but I've tried so many things I've almost given up hope. Sad Sad Sad

sunshinegirl12 · 12/05/2016 10:01

Mascara, how are you getting on now? You can't have much longer to go? x

Friendlycav · 12/05/2016 11:17

I would definitely give the natural progesterone cream a go Sunshine, you have nothing to lose (just make sure you only use it after ovulation). I don't know why it is such a battle to get progesterone! It is such an easy fix for a short LP so don't get why it's not given out readily. Let me know how the apimist goes Sunshine, what is the different between that and royal jelly? I hope the herbs work for you. I have found really positive changes that I can only put down to herbs.. my uterus lining has increased by 2mm since taking the herbs and I'm having periods like I was when I was a teenager i.e. bright red full flow with no pain and no clots (sorry if tmi).

I had a HyCoSy booked for next month but have been calling all week to get a cancellation appt and have managed to get an appt for this afternoon! Will be so glad to get it out of the way.

Mrs, glad you are feeling more positive and have a plan of action in place.

Goodluck Friendly, let us know how you get on. xx

Friendlycav · 12/05/2016 18:20

The HyCoSy went well. A bit of discomfort and 3(!) people watching but all over quickly and dye flowed through tubes ok. Really hope this gives my tubes a 'jet wash' and this will be my month but trying not to get my hopes up.

Good luck everyone xx

mrsmugoo · 12/05/2016 18:25

Just a quick hi from me! Sorry this thread dropped off my active threads list.

I'm 36 weeks now and today was my last day at work!

Good luck to everyone - still rooting for you all!

sunshinegirl12 · 12/05/2016 20:18

So glad it all went well for you Friendly, such a relief when its done. I think I will give the progesterone cream a go next cycle, did it help you at all?

Nice to hear from you Mrsmugoo, wow that time has flown. x

Friendlycav · 13/05/2016 09:42

Hi Sunshine, I only used progesterone cream for 1 cycle and unfortunately didn't find it did much for me but I don't think I used enough. Progesterone cream is a much lower dose than is usually found in suppositories but apparently it's not possible to 'overdose' as your body gets rid of any it doesn't use. I would definitely give progesterone cream a go a couple of days after ovulation and apply twice a day liberally x

That is def an improvement Mrs. I'll soon be starting my 4th cycle of cyclogest. Going to try and persevere with it for another couple of cycles before looking at other options. Not sure clomid will do much for me as I am def ovulating x

Mrsunsure, thats what I don't understand either as my progesterone level was 62 but longest luteal phase is 11 days, and it's not consistent. It seems to alternate between one month being ok and the next month spotting from about 7dpo, do you think its even possible for it to alternate depending what side I ovulate on? Hmm

I'm currently working on improving egg quality, do you think that in turn will strengthen my ovulation too? x
