Took an IC preg test as temp was climbing. Can you see a line?

18 dpo and it seems 4w and 6 days. I'd had those two light days of 'period', tested and had a BFN so forgot about it. But today realised my temp had been above the cover line since ovulation so tested again fully expecting a BFN. In shock.

OMG oriana congratulations!!!! So excited we were overdue a BFP here! Any symptoms? I am scrutinising your chart haha.

Mrs what are the questionnaires?

Friendly I got told 3yrs for IVF but they are doing tests. I've had two internal ultrasound scans and one external, 4 "day 21" blood tests (three of which were last week. I have a nice bruise to show for it) and I'm booked in for HSG (well as soon as AF arrives I will be and they only do the X-ray on Monday's here.

sunshinegirl12 · 12/04/2016 19:19

Congratulations Oriana, great news xx

Sunshinegirl2015 · 12/04/2016 19:19

Oh and DH had sperm analysis results back. He has 7% deformed swimmers but he needed to produce a minimum of 30million sperm in his sample and he apparently produced 401million!! He was very happy haha. We abstained for two days as it was around my ovulation.

Friendlycav · 12/04/2016 19:21

OMG congratulations Oriana, soo happy for you!

I can't believe it but have just got a text from the NHS to say I've got an appointment booked for next Weds!

OrianaBanana · 12/04/2016 19:33

Thank you! No symptoms but I'm expecting sickness to hit round week 7 if last time is anything to go by.

Scrutinising my chart Blush You'll see how often I can persuade DH to dtd... He hasn't yet got his SA results back actually but I'm interested now!

mrsmugoo · 12/04/2016 20:19

Congrats oriana!! (We only dtd twice the month I got my bfp too - it only takes one sperm!)

mrsmugoo · 12/04/2016 20:21

Also - I have boxes and boxes of cyclogest leftover! I'm dying for someone to take them off my hands. They're not doing any good gathering dust.

Friendlycav · 12/04/2016 20:37

If you're serious, I would love to have them MrsMugoo x

Orianna fantastic news!! Woo a bfp!

sunshinegirl12 · 13/04/2016 13:55

I'm having a down day today, have been totally distracted from it all lately and thinking what will be will be, but keep thinking about it today and what if it never happens. I think I ovulated sometime over the weekend but still having sharp, almost like ovulation pains again today (this is probably why its on my mind again.) I always seem to get this after ovulation, when I google it it says its most likely the fallopian tube contracting to move the egg along which obviously happens to everyone, but not everyone feels it. But I suppose its just another worry. x

mascaraisamust · 13/04/2016 19:19

Sunshine Flowers, it will happen. I'd have pains after ovulation. Light cramping feeling. What's next for you in terms of investigations?x

Friendlycav · 13/04/2016 19:20

Sorry you're having a down day Sunshine. Have to admit that I'm struggling a bit too. Post holiday blues don't help but all I want in life is to be a mother and it's like Groundhog Day trudging myself into work each day when I feel like my life should be very different by now. I know these feelings are normal and i should make the most of my life now without dependants buts it's really hard x

sunshinegirl12 · 13/04/2016 20:01

Sorry you're struggling too Friendly, holiday blues definitely doesn't help. I often regret not starting ttc sooner but we were just too busy doing other things, if only I'd known it would take so long. Sad

Mascara, I think I've pretty much done all the investigations other than that the consultant wants me to re-do day 3 bloods as they didn't do all the ones they were meant to, but everything else has come back ok, day 21 bloods, HSG, SA, internal scan (just waiting for AMH blood test results.) The consultant said the next step will be IVF although I don't feel ready for that or like we've been trying long enough. Saying that, both consultants were hopeful that the HSG and a bit of weight gain would give me a boost to conceive naturally. x

Sunshinegirl2015 · 14/04/2016 06:52

7DPO today and a tempt drop of more than half a degree Celsius! Massively below my coverline. Hope AF doesn arrive as that would mean my shortest LP of 6 days :(

Sunshine, how was your temp this morning? Hope it shot back up for you.

Mrsunsure, all my tests have come back ok so I suppose I fall into the 'unexplained' category. My progesterone at 6dpo was 62 although I only have a 10 day luteal phase which is obviously still short. I just wish I knew what the problem was as every month we are doing everything right and still nothing. At 3dpo I don't think you would feel any different yet so try to keep your chin up Smile

I'm CD19 today, usually only have a 23 day cycle and already got the usual PMS signs so think another month I'm out. It's all so frustrating. Sad

Sunshinegirl2015 · 15/04/2016 14:06

Didn't go down but still way below my coverline. I've been having mild cramp on and off too and only 8dpo.

Hopefully a strong ovulation means this is your month mrs!

Sunshine keep with it. If AF does arrive at least I can book my HSG.

Mrsunsure, I really wouldn't worry too much about an odd night of drinking, I don't think that alone will affect things as you don't do it all the time Smile I am going to be drinking this week as am away with family, I doubt this will be my month anyway and if I don't drink they will get suspicious. I'm more worried about the hot tub as have read it can even cause birth defects/early miscarriage, and have obviously had to ask DH to avoid it all together.

I'm still getting cramps and feel a bit sicky, though I always get that a bit before AF, it's always hard not to hold out a tiny bit of hope. In reality I am fully expecting AF in the next few days x
