That's good news mrsunsure and sounds positive for next cycle!

5/6 days po here so just waiting.. DH had SA this morning so can phone for GP appt for referral when I know when his results might come through xx

Friendlycav · 31/03/2016 11:25

Good news Mrs, all sounds very positive. Strange isn't it how just a little intervention can really make a difference to your cycle. My usual 23/24 day cycle with 8/9 day luteal phase changed to a 30 day cycle with a 14 day luteal phase with cyclogest! I'm now on the 2nd cycle with it and 6dpo. Currently on holiday so really trying to forget about it all and having some cocktails! Keeping my fingers crossed for everyone x

sunshinegirl12 · 31/03/2016 11:51

I've booked in for my AMH and HSG on Monday, not looking forwards to it but hopefully it'll help make me extra fertile after it x

Friendlycav · 31/03/2016 12:34

Good luck sunshine, please let us know how you get on as I'll be booking my HSG next cycle x

Thanks mrsunsure! About to have to leave so this is short but he went on Thursday and it will take about a week. I could only get a GP apt with my specific GP for April 27th to discuss the referral!!

OrianaBanana · 03/04/2016 09:54

Quick update, I'm on day 9 po and no spotting or AF still high temps. No symptoms but it's so unusual I did a test - BFN of course!

Hope everyone is ok xx

Sunshinegirl2015 · 03/04/2016 10:32

Oriana good luck! Be nice to have a BFP here!

Sunshine good luck tomorrow. I was told to use condoms or refrain from DTD after my HSG (not had it yet). This is what my letter said (see pics)

Thanks Sunshine for posting that, it is strange as she made a point of saying to carry on DTD straight after but I will check again tomorrow as it is back with the private hospital (it was my NHS consultant who said its ok to carry on as usual) so will see what they say. I haven't actually been given any proper info on it, but I've booked the whole day off work and DH is taking me. Think I'll take some painkillers before too.

I'm actually terrified, I've got my AMH blood test just before and I know I've mentioned before what a wimp I am and usually faint, so to then have to have the HSG I think I'll be in a bit of a state.

Fx for you Oriana, 9dpo is still early to test though x

OrianaBanana · 03/04/2016 11:32

Yes totally agreed, it's just last time I got a BFP was on day 9 po and AF has usually started by now so in some ways I'm 'late' already! Smile

Sunshinegirl2015 · 03/04/2016 14:49

Well good luck sunshine and let us know how it goes. It's odd we all get told different things. What is the AMH blood?

I have to have three blood tests this week to check progesterone levels as last time my level was 21 at 8DPO (clinic was closed when I was 7DPO) and AF arrived at 9DPO so gynaecologist wants to make sure we don't miss the surge.

But this entire cycle (I'm CD16 today) I've had my highest ever temps - all above my usual post ovulation coverline. Very odd. Only difference is I've been trying to eat more organic foods.

Oriana when will you next test?

OrianaBanana · 03/04/2016 15:50

I'll test again in a few days (around 12dpo) if AF hasn't arrived. She usually comes day 7-ish. x

mascaraisamust · 03/04/2016 20:09

Hi all, just checking in. Good luck Sunshine, wishing you all the best and hoping for some good news from you Orianna.

Sunshine high temps sound good, i also made a conscious effort to eat organic before I got my bfp. It's difficult! Limited choice most places.

OrianaBanana · 04/04/2016 10:19

AF has got me I'm afraid but a longer than usual LP which is something. Don't think anything was different about what I did but I only spotted for an evening so that's good x

sunshinegirl12 · 04/04/2016 16:41

Sorry for AF Oriana.

So I've had the AMH blood test and HSG today. The HSG was quite uncomfortable and totally lost all dignity as it took longer than I expected. Felt like a really bad period pain although an hour later and I'm only getting a few cramps, tbh it probably wasn't as bad as I had built it up to be. Luckily both tubes are clear, one of them took a while for the dye to come through so he said that this could be because there was a little blockage which has now been pushed through, and to start DTD as soon as I feel comfortable enough. Really hoping this will help and it will be money well spent. xx

mascaraisamust · 04/04/2016 16:49

Glad to hear it went well sunshine, everything crossed for you.

Sorry about AF Orianna, but at least an improved LP.

Friendlycav · 04/04/2016 17:54

Sorry AF got you Oriana but a longer LP is always good news x

I'm away on holiday and it has been a great break away from constantly thinking about ttc. I'm on my 2nd cycle of cyclogest and am 10dpo, I'll test in a couple of days and if BFN will come off it and try again next cycle.

Thanks for the update on your HSG sunshine. Keeping my fingers crossed you are now extra fertile x

Sunshinegirl2015 · 04/04/2016 21:09

Sorry for AF oriana but a longer LP is a positive!

Sunshine so they still said to DTD? Glad no blockages!

Good luck friendly!

Have got another blood test to check progesterone levels tomorrow. Three blood tests this week all to check my levels to make sure we don't miss the surge. You must be jealous of all those needles sunshine ;)

Sunshine, he definitely confirmed it was fine to DTD as much as possible now, it's not good that we have been told different things. Saying that though, I'm not really in the mood to DTD as still feeling really bloated and tender in my tummy, although no bleeding which he said was likely. I also noticed that your letter mentioned antibiotics though I was told just to go my GP if I feel I'm getting an infection (luckily I think I'm ok)

Friendly, glad you're having a good break, when are you testing?

Mrsunsure, I'm sure your DH will be fine with his SA, fx. x

Friendlycav · 05/04/2016 20:02

Thanks girls x

It's been so good to get away and I've really tried to forget obsessing about ttc. I'm 12dpo and going to carry on with the cyclogest until 14dpo which will be when I get home and I'll test then. I'm not too hopefully as no pregnancy symptoms and I don't think ovulating early is a good sign. Good to hear that you haven't had too many nasty side effects following your HSG Sunshine, fingers crossed for you and I hope the tenderness and swelling settles down very soon.

I thinks it's good that you haven't felt the effects of clomid so much this time Mrs, keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Sunshinegirl2015 · 05/04/2016 21:57

Sunshine I'll have to ask at my appointment about DTD but it's odd to be told different things.

Mrs I had a blood test for progesterone levels today, have another Friday and another next Tuesday. Not sure when I get results as its not through GP it's through referral but I reckon it won't be until after I've had my HSG at end of April at least.

Fingers crossed friendly.

mrsmugoo · 07/04/2016 08:40

Just checking in to say hi - hope everyone is well and that I'm still rooting for some more BFPs in this thread.

Mascara how is your pregnancy going? I'm 31 weeks now and seriously counting down to mat leave in 5 weeks!
