Sunshine, I have read a couple of times that clomid shouldn't be used if you have endo as it can make it much worse (although I know you only suspect it), although I think there are alternatives, but will be interested to hear what the consultant says. x

Im good thanks Mrsunsure, having weekly sessions of acupuncture and tbh shes been more thorough than any Dr I've seen. I'm trying hard not to over think ttc, I was getting to a point where I was constantly obsessing over ttc and couldn't genuinely enjoy things in life so I feel much better now I've taken a step back, I don't know if its the acupuncture thats helping me keep calm.Smile Going to ring the clinic tomorrow to book in for the HSG and got the gynae appt coming up in a couple weeks time, this is also my first cycle using the fertility monitor. x

Sunshine I'd never heard of that. Interesting!

Mrsunsure I don't know that I have endo I just think that might explain the heavy and painful periods. Also my mum had it so if it's hereditary I could have it.

Doctors don't seem worried about it though so perhaps they think I don't have it.

I've had two internal trans vaginal scans and one showed a strong ovulation apparently from my right ovary but left ovary was small. I know I ovulate from BBT. Other scan was on CD2.

Hopefully the gynaecologist is good.

OrianaBanana · 07/03/2016 06:54

This cycle's completely weird. I think I ovulated but I've had brown spotting on and off since a vaginal swab last Thursday and my temp, though it rose, is just swinging up and down (mostly down). Hmm

Really gutted and sad as 12dpo and BFN this morning. Temps still high so I was really hopefully this cycle. I plan to stop the cyclogest and will try again next cycle. Why is this so hard? Confused

OrianaBanana · 08/03/2016 11:18

Sorry friendlycav- did you use a FRER?

It really is an emotional rollercoaster.

I'm I don't know how many days post ovulation - going by OPKs 7, Fertility friend says 5, spotting still continuing and is now pink. Temps took a while to rise but are still high. Hopefully I can write this cycle off as 'getting back to normal' and move on with the next one.

DH still hasn't got his SA paperwork through and won't chase it up (understandable). It's been more than a week now.

So much stress with this and other things, really miserable, sorry Sad

Friendlycav · 08/03/2016 11:39

I've just had to go to the toilets at work to have a good cry. I used a FRER so pretty certain we haven't been successful this month.

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time too Oriana, it really is so stressful. I hope the paperwork for your DH comes through quickly and you are ok, sending hugs x

sunshinegirl12 · 08/03/2016 11:43

Sorry to hear that Friendly and Oriana. I'm another miserable one, and was doing so well to stay positive lately. I had high hopes that this month would be a good one as HSG all booked in, now DH can't come with me as can't get time off work as I'm too much of a wimp to go alone, so will have to waste another cycle waiting for next month. Which has then led to (probably irrational on my side) rows that DH isn't as bothered about all this as I am. I just really had my hopes up for this month and now feel so disappointed and tearful. I wish I could have the old carefree me back and stop being so pathetic.Sad

Friendlycav · 08/03/2016 12:00

Sorry sunshinegirl. I was hoping you'd have the HSG done soon so you could tell me all about it and put my mind at rest! I'm looking to get mine booked as soon as AF arrives so hopefully I'll be able to do the same for you :)

TTC is on my mind literally the entire time. I feel like I've done everything I can and it's still not happening, how can it be this difficult? Sad

Friendly, I wasn't sure if I'd be ok to go alone or go back to work after so atleast you'll be able to tell me. Theres not a very big time slot as it needs to be after AF ends and before CD10 so ring as soon as you can to make sure you get a slot. Did you have the AMH test? Also are you still having acupuncture/chinese herbs?

I feel the same, it's always there like a cloud hanging over my head. I'm really feeling sorry for myself today. Sad

Friendlycav · 08/03/2016 12:37

Thanks for all your support ladies, sorry to hear you're all having a rubbish time too Flowers

Sunshine - thanks and yes I plan to make an appt for the HSG test as soon as AF shows as I know it has to be done before ovulation. I'm going to make an appt for the AMH test too. I don't know whether to continue with the acupuncture and herbs.. They obviously haven't worked so far and they are expensive so I think I might stop and put the money towards all the private tests I need to have x

mrsmugoo · 08/03/2016 12:57

Friendly I think you should carry on for 2 or 3 more days?

Friendlycav · 08/03/2016 13:10

Do you mean the cyclogest MrsMugoo?

sunshinegirl12 · 08/03/2016 13:46

Friendly, how many acupuncture sessions have you had now? I've only had 2 but think it can take about 3 cycles to start working. It does all get expensive doesnt it x

Friendlycav · 08/03/2016 14:14

I've had about 10 acupuncture sessions Sunshine. I went weekly for nearly 3 months. I would definitely stick with it a bit longer and see if it works for you, I've read a lot of success stories.

sunshinegirl12 · 08/03/2016 14:34

I will stick with it as its still early days. I don't 100% believe in it (if you know what I mean) so I hope that doesn't ruin my chances of it working and also when I'm lying there with the needles in I find it almost boring, like its not doing anything, although I really hope it is. x

Friendlycav · 08/03/2016 14:42

I know exactly what you mean. Really hope it works for you sunshine x
