Kat I think different people have different AF types. Mine is not long (4days) and doesnt hurt, just a bit sometimes. But I remember when I was younger it used to be a week and sooo painful. So I want to think that it just changes? But if you are worried maybe ask the doctor. Just to ease your mind.

I have the sperm meets egg on my kindle, I think it is free. I will try that this month but I cant always fit all the sex with our schedules!

I was fully planning on dtd everysingledaythismonthsoibloodywellgetpregnantfinally but DH has tonight asked me when I shall be fertile as we will be dtd eod as he wont make enough sperm for every day and there won't be enough of the little guys. Pfft. I don't want to miss it!! This is month 6 and I'm getting impatient/bored tbh.

Mine have been very tender for about the last week now, started a few days after I ovulated. We watched a tv show about someone getting their nipple pierced and I literally them up just thinking about it. I'm sleeping on my front with them pressed into the bed so I limit the chances of brushing them (or DH going in for a cheeky fondle) in the night!

Sad but true guys, sad but true. No fw for me at all in Jan, possible fw early/middle Feb, won't be testing till end of Feb/early March. How about I just be the bus driver? I'm likely in for the long haul 🚃

Third BFN in a row, two days before AF due. Feel like she is on her way. Will be glad when she arrives so I can relax for a few days and stop wondering what everything my body does means! Think the testing is helping me stay realistic about my chances this month but going to put them aside now for the rest of the month (unless I'm more than a day of two late). Trying SMEP next - somehow without telling DH when I'm ovulating because I know it will stress him out.

Sorry to hear about the bfn Leonie. SMEP sounds good but I'm not sure my DH would be up for something so prescriptive. Good luck engineering it on the sly - that would be some impressive work!!

Leonie, sorry to hear about this morning's BFN. If AF is planning on making an appearance, I hope she does it soon so you can move forward. Will be interesting to hear how you get on with SMEP especially if you can manage it without telling DH; I'm pretty sure that's how we'd have to do it too so that there was no performance anxiety...

I had a bit of a stress out yesterday about TTC or the lack thereof but feeling a bit more positive today. DH has always been a little bit more wary of TTC than I have (although is clearly a willing participant!) particularly because of the financial impact of having a baby but he initiated a conversation this morning about re-mortgaging while we have two salaries and no significant outgoings so that feels like progress!

I'm officially into my sexathon week, my plan was DTD EOD after AF and then everyday from yesterday until Saturday as this is FW according to ovia. Then from Saturday EOD until AF is due..surely one of his swimmers will catch the bloody egg that way?! I actually feel tired thinking about it all! I am quite relaxed this month though so hopefully won't be too upset if AF arrives next month. I have a girls trip booked late March which would be fine if I was PG or not (it's not a crazy partying mini break) so I keep thinking if I'm not PG by then I can enjoy a few cocktails with the girls.

I'm having a bit of a weird one. I was just trying to do a rough estimate this month based on cycle length and EWCM, LMP was about 28th Dec (it was a hectic time, I didn't make a note...) and I have a 30 day cycle. We DTD Sunday 10th, on Monday 11th I had orthopaedic surgery and general anaesthetic, and also loads of EWCM, but I was totally not going there... Peak EWCM was Tuesday 12th. Still had some and DTD again on Thursday 14th. Yesterday morning I got some brown spotting, but a little bit of red too, and then the brown carried on all day and is still showing up today.

Obviously the tiny hopeful bit of me wants it to be implantation bleeding, but the more realistic bit know that not much BDing happened, and I was off my face on painkillers etc which have probably just messed up my cycle. With 1 and 2 I was able to get a BFP about a week before my period was due, but that's still ages (4 days) off, so I'm trying really hard to control expectations.

It's been ages since I was on one of these threads (DS2 will be 4 in April!), but they're so fab, so I thought I'd join one again if that's okay?

Although I've just realised that TTC#1 is actually referring to DC number, and not the thread number I will slope off somewhere else! Sorry!!
