I think Ovia is on her period! I entered a neg opk and she just changed my fertile period from starting 23rd Jan to being most fertile today! What the hell? Anybody else have that level of crazy happen?

I wish I had more time to spend on here trying to catch up but impossible lol!

Yes ni that happened to me! My stomach almost fell out of my arse, it was awful! I just went ahead doing my okp's and adding in info and it changed twice more! Stick with your original dtd plan (ie Monday, Wednesday, Friday ), if you change it you will start wondering and it's awful! I had a meltdown, tried to rearrange my whole week, ended up being so confused and stressful! Do I make sense?

Glad your feeling better on cycle 2 starky and hope you had a nice time with your sister on her birthday and enjoyed the guilt free alcohol! That is such a nightmare choc sounds like she's trying to be very academic about the whole thing. I wouldn't bother with the contraception and I think the midwife will be much more useful, she is actually the expert here the GP is just that a general practitioner!

lauren ah similar cycle to me. Spotting is weird. I usually get a little spotting a few days ahead of af but your af is way off. Could it be implantation??

6dpo here. Feel bad as I had a bottle of wine last night and similar the night before. Hope it doesn't affect things. In reality even if I did conceive implantation probably hasn't even happened so I'll have a light few days until I know it's a bfn.

choc agree with everyone else. What on earth is the point in using protection when you're either already pregnant or still ttc!! Makes no sense.

Exactly my point feefs midwife was totally unphased and said to still call her 2 days before my appointment and she'll probably still see me if I haven't had a bleed. She said if a blood test doesn't show again they may scan me.

I'm keeping track of my bbt and I've had really flat temps for the last few days - does anyone know if that's weird or normal?

ladies who use OPKs I did one this morning with FMU (before realising you can't use them with fmu) ... control line is waaaay darker than the test line (as you can see in the pic) but apparently your LH is less in fmu and usually builds up during the daythanks Dr Google ... how odd?!

Oh great now I've googled lots of horror stories about drinking early in pregnancy & feel sick with guilt!!!!

Choc isn't the control line the one closest to the non-dip end? The test line looks considerably darker than the control to me. Is say you're ovulating.

Zaz really don't worry. Lots of the grads went and got drunk at Christmas parties thinking we weren't pregnant and non of our little ones seem to have suffered.
Prolonged heavy drinking over several days can cause harm but one boozy night out won't.

Don't worry Zazzles - firstly, you can find horror stories about anything online, as there's an exception to everything.

Secondly, people tend to post bad things rather than good things - bad things always seem more newsworthy and people are less likely to post 'I had a drink and it was fine'.

Thanks lisa and runner. Still kicking myself and will be worrying until af comes. Heavy nights were 4dpo and 5dpo so hoping that's too early to have any impact.

Don't feel guilty Zazzles! It's way, way too early for it to matter. Far better for you to be relaxed and happy (although I admit to being slightly jealous of your tolerance, since I hit my 30's, more than a glass gives me a terrible hangover)

Choc, so sorry that you're feeling so bad and the doctor was so unhelpful. I hope you're able to put your feet up this weekend and take care of yourself.

I'm only 10 days into my 30 day cycle but there was definitely some EWCM this morning. Now just have to wait for DH to wake up just in case!

Hi Lisa I'm ok, no real improvement on my end (morning sickness getting worse ) but I'm being well looked after by my very attentive OH and just looking forward to the mythical second trimester when all will be well lol

But I read fmu with opk isn't reliable?

I alway did one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Both were usually similar.

If you weren't having a hormone spike the strip couldn't pick it up as it's more likely the test line will be lighter in the morning.

If I were you I'd get shagging as with a line that strong you will probably ovulate within 48hours.

Choc def looks like you're ovulating - all the more reason you should be having sex unprotected right now stupid doctor! As for all the symptoms you've been having, could it be your body's way of getting back to normal after coming off the pill? Not sure how that would explain the pos pregnancy tests though !!

Zazzles seriously don't beat yourself up about it. It is so common for people with unplanned pregnancies that by the time they find out they are maybe 4-6 weeks in and have been drinking up until that point. It happened to me ;) I was so worried and told the midwife and she said not to worry as it is very common and extremely unlikely it would cause any damage.

holly it's looking that way isn't it! Did a superdrug test this morning, definitely a squinter but more likely an evap I'm suspecting... don't feel so confident about superdrug tests as 3 out of 4 of the 'positive' tests I got were from there!

So what are people's thoughts on implantation bleeding? Is it really a thing? I had watery pink spotting last night. Nothing today. Mild cramps all night. My temp went down this morning but is stil 0.71f above my cover line. I usually have a bright red spot or two the evening af shows up abs then she's hear in full force an hour later. But nothing today. I don't want to read too much into it. No other symptoms anyway. It's just interesting as I've never noticed watery pink as a precursor to Af. Maybe it's the dreaded menopause lol I feel all sweaty but I'm not really running a fever (97.98).
