Sorry, should explain that I am feeling very negative because I have had textbook period pains for the last three days. I am still wearing a pad and don't want to jinx anything by stopping. I also think that it is possible that I have put off my period through stress and it will just turn up a week late (this happened a long time ago... but at that point in my life I was relieved!)

Morning!
Well on friday nt started to have a bit of spotting- got VERY VERY miserable and a big cry when DP came home from work. Felt very very sad and cross etc etc... had got my hopes up a bit too much this month. Anyway, Friday night was kept awake with BAD AF pains (quite unusual for me) and woke up on sat morn with AF from hell. Nice.
Anyway, we went for a lovely day trip to Camber Sands, ran around on the beach and up the sand dunes. Was freezing and v windy but lovely and really got the TTC stress out of my head!
So, going over to Feb thread, we have decided to BD every other day this month as a new trial! Perhaps every day was too much for the old Sperm... thinning them out a bit?
Have started temping this month too as worried i'm not even ovulating or something. Will drink lots of grapefruit juice too!
Good luck to anyone else for a JAn BFP.xx

Honeyapple, Oh babe, I am so sorry about AF (the bitch!), it's awful when you allow your hopes to build and they are dashed((((hugs))))... I think that every other day is the better option (IMO). Every day has got to add pressure to the situation, not only to you and your DP, but also to the sperm (o~) they need time to 'build up' the reserves, as it were. OOOh Camber Sands, I am sure I went there as a child?? Is it in East Anglia??

Greenblock ? A BFP??? You need to talk to Flossam, she was convinced that AF was on the way, had cramps and was wearing sanitary protection... but AF did not arrive, she got her BFP!! WOO. Is your AF due??

Lottie, Sorry to hear that you were feeling down, I hope you are happier today??? (hug) BUT hear me now - DO NOT keep beating yourself up over your alcohol consumption. So long as you are not getting trolleyed, I really don't think you can be doing any harm. Obviously it's best to try and reduce where possible, but a few glasses here and there is not going to hurt. LESS of the guilt please

I am patiently waiting to hear about the BFPs... well actually, not that patient really. I don't do patient. I know I am not really allowed on this thread anymore, but I hope you all don't mind me lurking.

Oh darn, I thought your message was from yesterday Lottie... slap me for not reading properly. My sentiments still stand, just read it as sorry you are feeling down today... what can we do to cheer you up??

sorry to hear of the AF's arriving for people

FactsAndFigures · 22/01/2007 08:49

Hi MrsMcJnr how are you doing and thanks for asking after me.

I'm now CD36 and no sign of AF. Did feel a bit odd over the weekend especially yesterday when I felt queasy on and off throughout the day but it didn't come to anything.

DH and I decided I should test yesterday afternoon did a Clearblue Digital and it errored ARRGGGGGHHHHHH I had the waiting symbol flash for about 2 seconds and then nothing and the screen remained blank! I'm going to call the CB helpline today and complain as there's no way the test itself got wet as I collected my urine in a small pot.

I couldn't go out and buy another test as the supermarkets were closed (blooming Sunday hours!) So I'll be paying Boots a visit today

WinniethePooh · 22/01/2007 09:37

Good Luck Factsandfigures.

Hopefully you will get a BFP.

I am currently CD23. AF is due next monday, but am hoping she stays away.

FactsAndFigures · 22/01/2007 09:43

Thanks WinniethePooh - I hope AF stays away for you

I've just called Clearblue and they're going to send me another test. I've got to send the one I used back in the pre-paid envelope so they can test it in their lab.

Oh well back to the waiting game!

MrsMcJnr · 22/01/2007 13:37

Hello ladies I wrote a really long post to you all yesterday and then my PC went on the blink so I lost it all anyway, I'll try and write it all again!

8dpo for me today, cd26. Still spotting/tinged CM (getting confused as to the difference now!) I've had this since 3dpo, never had it before. Trying so hard to see it as a postive but I think the brown is going pink (meaning fresh blood) and I'm getting a few cramps. Anyone else had any experience of this?

Sorry about AF FurryFox best of luck for Feb and have a lovely break with DH!

FactsandFigures - how frustrating re the test!! Fingers crossed and keep us posted!

Lottie - I think that TTC is hard enough without beating yourself up for a few glasses of wine. If you are like me and use wine to relax then maybe you needed it

Greenblock - have you tested again? wishing you tons of luck.

Honeyapple - sorry about AF, I know how down it makes you feel, great way to make yourself feel better though

9 days of January left - how many of us are left? time for a roll call:

MrsMcJnr CD26, 8dpo, AF due somtime between 24 & 26. Spotting since 3dpo!?

Fingers crossed for you all x

lissielou · 22/01/2007 13:41

MrsMcJnr · 22/01/2007 13:44

Just popping back from the February thread as have no idea what is going on with my body.

Thought AF arrived on Saturday (3/4 days late for me) but turned out she didn't. Ended up being a really tiny amount of bright pink blood (sorry if tmi) just on Saturday, then on Sunday when I wiped there was a really small amount of brown (really am sorry ) but not a dickybird since. Had a few cramps so over the weekend too but nothing else.

Am usually so regular so just don't know what it happening. I tested 4 days before af due - BFN. Tested Thursday, day after af was due - BFN and tested again this morning - and again BFN!

Anyone else experienced anything like this? Don't even know if I am now CD35 or CD3???

MrsMcJnr · 22/01/2007 15:25

FurryFox that's good news, you're still in with a chance. Some people don't get BFPs until 21dpo!! keeping my fingers crossed for you. Take it you'll be testing in a few days if AF doesn't come back for good?

FurryFox · 22/01/2007 15:37

Thanks MrsMcJnr. Am waiting for some tests from ebay I ordered so as soon as they arrive I'll be testing again. Ordered 15 so I'm sure I'll get through them within 3 days

It's so difficult not knowing either way. If I knew I definately wasn't I would be fine with that and would be thinking onwards and upwards but the fact that I've had no 'proper' af yet makes me think I might be, despite the bfn's. Arghhhhh it's driving me mad not knowing.

How's your spotting now? I saw your thread you started the other day but didn't post as had no valuable advice to give and other people are much more helpful than me! Really know very little about cycles and hormones etc .

geekInPigtails · 22/01/2007 15:52

FurryFox, do you know roughly when you ovulated?

Adding myself to the rollcall:

MrsMcJnr CD26, 8dpo, AF due somtime between 24 & 26. Spotting since 3dpo!?
LondonLottie CD23, 5dpo, AF/BFP due 27-29th.
GeekInPigtails CD22, 8dpo, AF due 29th, the past couple of days my temps have been unusually high and jumpy, plus other ghost symptoms that probably mean nothing!

FurryFox · 22/01/2007 18:09

GeekInPigtails - I think I ovulated somewhere between 1st and 5th Jan but that's a rough-ish guess. The 1st would have been cd14.

Had a bit more blood this afternoon when I wiped again but nothing since. What does this mean?

NotAnOtter · 22/01/2007 18:11

why dont you test furry

FurryFox · 22/01/2007 18:14

NotAnOtter - Have done 3, latest one this morning but all BFN's. AF sould have arrived last Wednesday.
