hello former D2B- liking the new name! How about Iwillhaveababybyendof2007 even more positive for you!

iwillbepgbydec07 · 18/01/2007 19:33

honeyapple - i think that is a bit too optimistic of me and probably would only be setting myself up for dissapointment putting too much pressure on it.

well that holiday i have booked is in september soooo i am actually not "trying" to get pregnant this month or next month so i can fly and not be a big momma on the beach.

but if it happens i shall glady move my holiday forward

i am filled with positivity for all of us ready we will all get there!!!

i had a long long think the other day and i know its not the case for all but i am 20 i do have time on my side and i can take my time a little and i dont need to stress myself out like this.

i also brought the TCOYF book and it is fantatsic so i will be charting from cd1 next cycle and monitoring cm and cp so look out for my chart god that woman makes so much sense in her book wish id started reading it sooner

honeyapple · 18/01/2007 20:26

Gosh you're 20! Well definitely relax about it! (Sorry dont want to sound patronizing)
I am impressed that you know that you want kids already- and feel in the right space. I was PG with my DS at 21- and it was good, although I guess I did miss out on some of the stuff my friends got up to. I did however do a lot with DS. He's been to Thailand, Canada, America... he was a well travelled baby!

iwillbepgbydec07 · 18/01/2007 20:34

yeah i feel like 20 going on 40!

my dp is 41 but i have always known i wanted to be a young mum and as we have been together 5 years and are established in life it seems like the most natural thing to do in our relationship.

wow your baby has been to more places than me!! i havnt been further than spain unfortunately but hopefully that will change in the future.

MrsMcJnr · 18/01/2007 21:51

Evening ladies, only have time to say hello to you all and welcome back to our new for 2007 D2BM! good to have you back!!

greedyforbabies · 18/01/2007 22:46

so then 'iwillbepgbydec2007'! HOW are we supposed to abbreviate that one!? how inconsiderate of you D2B was sooooooooooo much easier! nice to see you back, despite the long name! also, if you are going to be charting, join us on the chart spotters thread! AND ANOTHER THING!!!!!.....if you are only 20, you still potentially have at least another 20 years of fertile time left, so there is NO WAY you should worry about ttc! you are sooooooooooooooooo young and i am sooooooooooooooo jealous! OH TO BE YOUNG AGAIN!

honeyapple · 19/01/2007 09:32

Sorry to be nosey D2B (Sorry until you show us how to abbreviate the other name i'm sticking to your old one!), but if you have been together 5 yrs... you must have been 15 and your DP 36! Must have caused a few eyebrows to be raised...? I did go out with a bloke 16 yrs older than me when i was about 19... but he didnt last too long...
Do you feel you want to have babies now because of the age gap between you and DP?

WinniethePooh · 19/01/2007 10:27

DP and I had a good session last night.

Here's hoping I ov a bit later in my cycle as I am currenty CD20 AF due 28/29th Jan.

greenblock · 19/01/2007 10:47

Can anyone help? I did a clearblue test this morning which was negative after 2 mins but debatably (maybe) positive after five mins. Period due today ish (or yesterday). What does it mean? also have had cramps for last 2 and a half days.

honeyapple · 19/01/2007 10:55

Greenblock- I would say do another test tommorrow. When I have had positive PG tests they have come up pretty quickly.
I wouldnt get too excited until you do another test. All the best.

Winnie- good to hear you had fun last night. Probably no good for TTC but nice to have sex without thinking about it!

greenblock · 19/01/2007 10:57

Thanks, good advice!

honeyapple · 19/01/2007 11:00

Cramps can be a good sign of PG or a sign of AF coming... fun isnt it!

iwillbepgbydec07 · 19/01/2007 16:46

sorry ladies i wasnt thinking of you all abreviating my name when i thought of it...shall i change it to make it easier for you? although i do quite like it....

honeyapple - you are correct in you mathematics it was a hard start for our relationship as we didnt tell anyone we were seeing eachother for a LONG time (im talking 2 years) and yes we we did eventually fess up to being in love my mum had rather a few unpleasant words for him but after a few days she came round and all my family love him to pieces they think he is fantastic!
the baby thing has nothing to do with the age gap between us i dont even notice it tbh..we are trying for a baby because it just feels like the right time and i REALLY want one.
we proved everyone wrong as people said we wouldnt last bla bla bla but he is sooo not like a normal 41 yr old and he certainly doesnt look it and i dont act like a normal 20 yr old so i guess we balance eachother out.

people form opinions on the facts and the figures as some of you probably will and raise an eyebrow or two in but if you were to see us together you would say we are made for eachother

honeyapple · 19/01/2007 18:00

IWBPG07- I think age gaps are fine if you get along and are both going in the same direction. ie you both want to have kids! How did you meet? Sorry- I'm being nosey again! BTW I am not raising my eyebrows!

iwillbepgbydec07 · 19/01/2007 18:49

yeah we both know what we want.

btw he has never been married before and doesnt have children so this baby would both be our first baby.

i met him when i went bowling with friends and we just got chatting and i assumed he was younger and he thought i was older and it went from there, we swapped numbers and txted for weeks then met up and the rest is history!

at my abbreviated name!

greedyforbabies · 19/01/2007 20:48

iwbepg07 - aaaaahhhhh! how sweet! wish i had such a romantic story!!!!! mine was a blind date!

greedyforbabies · 20/01/2007 10:37

whoopsfallenoveragain · 20/01/2007 15:20

Hello, sorry for not being on here for a while, kind have come to a standstill on the ttc front! not sure why really just haven't been in the mood.
have we had anymore bfp's from anyone?

FurryFox · 20/01/2007 17:07

Hi ladies. AF arrived today , cd33, about five days late for me. Never mind, just looking forward to February now and weekend away with DH.

Will be first time away without dd (apart from the odd night) since she was born 18 months ago. Am so looking forward to it . Hope that doesn't sound too mean that I'm excited about going away without dd , will just be nice to spend some time alone with dh but know I will really really really miss dd.

Hope everyone else waiting get their bfp's really soon, MrsMcJnr, Honeyapple and everyone else I haven't mentioned .

Will make my way over to the Feb thread now but will keep an eye in here to look out for those BFP's. Good luck to you all. xx

greenblock · 20/01/2007 18:51

MrsMcJnr, how lovely of you to think of me! I'm a longtime lurker on these threads. Well, I did a First Response this morning (actually at 3am since the cat woke me up) and I think it was positive but now I am convinced that my period will come anyway and I'm being quite negative because I can't quite believe it. I think I'll do another test tomorrow morning. Not sure what it will take to convince me. Actually, even writing the above had made me think I am tempting fate.
