Ladies!! I have had a little break and am raring to go this cycle. This is cycle number 4 for us, and I am currently on CD8, so just coming up to the "fertile phase" and plan on plenty of sex not BDing!!

I looked for a January thread, but couldn't find one?? I don't think I am the only one hoping for my BFP in Jan am I ???

Fingers crossed for everyone!!

And I'm sure that not being pg this time is just because you are aware of it all. Sometimes its best just not too consider things too much!

I'm a great believer in, if you don't want something to happen it will and if you do, it won't!

ever the optimist!

honeyapple · 17/01/2007 10:22

Ammy- I know. i believe that too... but it's very difficult to try to forget!
It took me a couple of years to get DP to TTC for a third, and since he's said YES, it aint happening! I believe in fate to a great extent, but also, when I say I'm going to do something, I get on with it. I hate procrastination! And I'm rubbish at waiting!

honeyapple · 17/01/2007 10:26

Londonlottie- It's a horrible situation to be in, I felt like this a couple of months ago. Had a big heart to heart with DP and we managed to sort it all out.
Have you tried tempting DP with some special treatment... ie not vaginal BDing straight away, maybe something that just focuses on him, and how much you love him- men are very basic when it comes to certain acts...IYKWIM??
You need to show him that you love and fancy him, not just about TTC and the baby that doesnt exist yet.

Lottie- I'm sure the days when you have BDed sound good... and if you can do another tonight, all the better. Lots of hugs xx

Morning ladies. Am on cd30 today, thought I had a 29 day cycle but now not sure

Have had cramps on and off for the last three or four days so thought af was coming, not here yet though but have been on strict knicker watch all morning

Really don't think I am pg and refuse to do a test for at least another two days as did one on Sunday and it was a BFN.

Hope you're all feeling positive unlike me and hope theres some more BFP's soon

Wishing you all lots of luck. xx

honeyapple · 17/01/2007 13:15

Hi Furry fox- sunday sounds a long time ago! Sure you dont want a little quick test?

goingfor3 · 17/01/2007 14:18

I bought some cheapies from ebay today, hopefully they will come tommorow. Are they usually reliable?

FurryFox · 17/01/2007 15:48

honeyapple - Really really really want to test but don't want another BFN, think I would rather just get af iykwim? Know I will probably test first thing tomorrow morning even though I have said I'll wait till Friday

This whole ttc lark is sooooooooo easy to get obsessed about.

honeyapple · 17/01/2007 16:01

Hi goingfor3, I just got my cheapies from ebay. Did one, but it was a BFN. I think it was just way too early to test...
I reckon they work fine. Probably the sort that the GP would have. All the paraphenalia that goes with the pricey ones just is a marketing ploy to make us think we are paying £10 for a reason.

Furryfox, good luck with tommorrow.

FurryFox · 17/01/2007 16:12

Thanks honeyapple. Hopefully af won't arrive in the mean time.

Just looked down the thread and saw your af is due around 19/20. Hope she stays away - good luck

jersey · 17/01/2007 18:41

Hi can I join in. On second month of trying for no. 3. This is a slight surprise as fell with no. 2 within a first week! Did temperatures last 2 times but as I am up in the night with number 2 still don't think the temps work if you are up during the night.

So far leaving it to nature and trying to manage every other night around possible ovulation time.

honeyapple · 17/01/2007 18:45

Hi Jersey, well there are a few of us here who are TTC no. 3 and finding it surprisingly hard work! Hope it quick for you though. How old are your children?
Not sure I could cope with being woken up in the night and being PG...good luck!

jersey · 17/01/2007 18:50

DS1 is 2.5, 3 in July the 17th. DS2 is 6 months today, 1 July 18th (Deff not planned that way!!!) Hoping for a daughter this time . Hoping that as DS2 only usually gets me up once in the night now he will sleep through soon (fingers crossed as DS1 still doesn't!!!!)

honeyapple · 17/01/2007 19:05

My goodness! You are busy. I am impressed that you are already TTC no 3. It's taken me 4 yrs to get around to it!

Munz · 17/01/2007 19:10

ooh yay jersery! hiya!

no AF here still got more test arriving tomorrow! hoping to see a BFP this time

jersey · 17/01/2007 19:11

Unfortunatly time isn't on our side as I am 35 and didn't want to leave things to long in case we had probs this time!

jersey · 17/01/2007 19:15

Hiya Munz here we go again. Not doing the temps this time as between DS1 and DS2 and don't get to stay in bed long enough to get a good temp reading. Fingers crossed and hoping that I am ovulating after a mess up with several different pills having bad effects on my cycle!

Any suggestions re other methods I can try when I start tearing my hair out (in about 2 months!!!!!!).

Thanks

Munz · 17/01/2007 19:19

lol. I've been using persona - well was, I decided last night after 2 whole weeks I'm getting obssessed again, and after obsessing so much last time with J i'm going to go for teh loads of BD and hoping for the best

Eaglebird · 17/01/2007 19:37

Well, AF is definitely here .
Going to have that glass of wine I promised myself on Monday.
Good luck to everyone still playing the waiting game. Maybe see you on the February thread x

greedyforbabies · 17/01/2007 19:59

hello jersey! i am ttc no.3 too! my ds1 was born on july 18th too! but he will be 4 this year! dd1 has just turned 2 last week. i think you are doing the right thing goign for it again so soon cos we started ttc no.3 last april cos i wanted them all close together but its taking a while! i have now decided 4 is the way to go anyway, so i am no longer quite as stressed about no.3 (doesn't really make sense i know!) anyway...good luck!
sorry about af eaglebird. its not OFFICIAL that we cn no longer post on here once af has arrived is it? cos i know there is no chance of me getting a bfp this month but i am still posting on here anyway!

fettle · 17/01/2007 20:04

Hello all

How we all doing? Not quite sure where everyone is with regards to CDs - anyone due to test soon?

Not much to report here, just wanted to say hello.

Hi Greedy - I think we should be allowed to still post on here, cos otherwise we miss people who have moved over to the other thread. Also, once AF arrives at the weekend, I'll be all on my own on the March thread, as Feb is too short for my long cycle!

Take care all
x

jersey · 17/01/2007 20:16

Hi Greedy my DH is now suggesting a no 4. But I will see how this one goes as I might have to go the CSection this time as I was so close to emergency on last 2 deliveries due to complications so a bit worried when I get to that stage!
