Hi Sparklytreeangel - Still here had to nip off and decorate the house with sprigs of holly and all the xmassy stuff. AF due 13/12 so will keep fingers crossed for thechristmassyone too but Im not holding out much luck for me - all the usual PMT symptoms are coming to the fore... Had a major domestic putting up the tree so think PMT is to blame.... (something about who can put the tinsel on the tree best - how sad is that! .) Anyway friends again now - Best of luck to all of you ladies in waiting and lets get a few more BFP on this sleigh

AnnieA · 10/12/2006 22:18

Hello. This is the first time i have posted on the site but I've been looking at messages for a while. We've been TTC for 10 months. I have a short luteal phase i think and doc has referred us to the hospital but the appointment isn't til April. My BFP would be around 19 Dec - what a lovely Xmas pressie that would be.

Snowyowlet · 10/12/2006 22:42

Hi, AnnieA - welcolm to MN . I thought I had a short luteal phase til I started on MN - how many days does your LP last for - mine is 10 - 12 and have been on B6 to lengthen it.

You will find loads of advice and support on here - so stick with us and fingers crossed for a BFN

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 10/12/2006 22:43

hi Annie , welcome to ur sleigh! \

Im sure snowy meant BFP xx

MerryKitkatmas · 11/12/2006 08:27

Morning everyone - I'm still here too!! So sad to see so many leaving us... hope a break from these boards helps you put everything in balance. Come back soon though!

Hello and welcome to the new faces - you'll find the girls on here v supportive and helpful!

As for me, still only dpo...no symptoms whatsoever!! AF not due for ages - anyone testing this week?

MerryKitkatmas · 11/12/2006 08:28

Doh! Forgot to say hello to all the lovely ladies who are still here!! HELLO!!

MrsMcClaus · 11/12/2006 09:11

So annoyed, just wrote a long thread to you all and lost the lot! In an internet cafe getting a quick fix before I start my new job!

Welcome to the newbies - EagleBird and AnnieA. Wishing you festive BFPs. AnnieA - can recommend the B6 too and Evening Primrose Oil, last 2 cycles my LP has gone from 10 to 12 days and I have been taking the supplements pre-ov for 4 cycles.

Festive babydust to all expecting their BFPs in the next couple of days!

Hello N&T&B - birthday twins! Though I am considerbly older than you!

Pinky - some don't get much EWCM on the outside, it's quality not quantity anyway but the wet feeling is a really good sign of peak fertilty too. Hope that helps

CD9 for me and DH has promised me a BDing marathon this cycle, we'll see!

Speak to you all later!

ImpatientElf · 11/12/2006 09:36

Hello newbies, and welcome!

Good luck in your new job today MrsMc!

To anyone who wants to hear me still witter on about my confusing cycle, it's CD 10 today, STILL having ewcm, since CD5 so should have expected to ov yesterday on basis of usually having 5 days ewcm. I think someone put a spanner in my clockwork-works... A tiny bit of ov pain last night, but am usually very uncomfortable. Temp not yet up (yesterday's hike was 'cause I was poorly, but am better now), but it usually goes up after a few days. I guess this month I just have to keep plugging away at myself ! til no more ewcm or we go away at the end of the week, whichever comes first, and then just try and forget about it (yeah right!). So, anyone out there yet developed some magic device for knowing what the hell my body thinks it's playing at this month?!

PS, if anyone's car ever gets spraypainted by some oik, non-stick pan scrubber and a lot of elbow grease sorted the paint and glass out on mine, although I can't get it off the trim . Good thing I was well-slept, had loads of free time, wasn't sick and it wasn't raining while I was standing out there scrubbing, huh . Sarcasm by the way. Poor me.

BoJingles · 11/12/2006 09:37

Morning all
MrMcClause - good luck with the new job
Angel - I am still here!! my AF is not due till 22nd (ish) so I will be hanging around till then. How are you? I do hope you have been making the most of this weekend? I am convinced we've timed it all correctly this month so fingers so very tightly crossed. I'm trying to not get to hett up about it all and do feel a little more layed back this month - whether its because I've got xmas to look forward to if AF does arrive.... Oh I'd forgotten how tedious the wait is though and I'm sure by next week I'll be tearing my hair out

Uki · 11/12/2006 09:38

Morning All

Sorry to hear of all the bad things that are happening.
DecorativeD2B, hope you get your new card and it all worked out soon, I lost my card twice this year, very frustrating

Impatient-hope you can get your car fixed, was it spray paint?

Mrs Mc-Best of luck with the new job

I had something good happen this morning,

A BFP

I'm very haapy, really thought AF was comming went and bought all the stuff and all. I tested Sat one day late but BFN and today 2 x BFP

So that's my tip, buy all the AF things and it happens, also I bd later than usual up till day 18

Can't wait till you come join me in August thread. Rubbing the screen now to wish you all luck.

Uki · 11/12/2006 09:40

Impatient crossed posts, glad you got it off.

How old is your DS?

BoJingles · 11/12/2006 09:44

Impatience - gawd what a nightmare you are having. Thats awful news about your car.. whats to*ers would do that to someone's car .
I'm afraid I haven't any tips for removing graffiti but can only sympathise with confusing cycles. My ovulation pains seem to be getting longer and longer each cycle. They used to last a few days and now this cycle they have lasted 5 days - anyone experience this? If so when exactly would I ovulate? Sometime in the middle or at the end? Soo confusing

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 11/12/2006 09:49

UKI - CONGRATULATIONS [fgrin

I am so pleased for you xxxxx

YuleTideways · 11/12/2006 10:14

Uki - congratulations

Impatience - sorry about the car, that's a real pain. I suppose at least you managed to get it off. Sorry no clue what your body is doing, have enough trouble working out my own

MsMc - good luck with the new job, shame you won't be able to mn though!

Somewhere mid-cycle here (look, I'm just SO relaxed about it all I don't even know ) and into the 2ww. Did lots of bd but very early on. If I am wrong and don't ov on CD11 I have got it all wrong.

Who's testing next?

Dh went on a bit of a strike and accused me of only wanting him during my fertile phase. That was really annoying, as another couple of attempts would have been good. It is nice to get a good night's sleep for a bit though, isn't it?

BoJingles · 11/12/2006 10:16

Uki - congrats!!! I must have crossed with you and didn't see your message. Interesting about OD18 - was this late in your cycle? Any tips more than happily received

Kittiwakesnowflakes · 11/12/2006 10:18

Hi all

Sorry to everyone who has had AF or a bad weekend for other reasons. Congratulations to you Uki on your BFP

decorativeD2Bmum · 11/12/2006 10:46

good morning girls.

a/f is "due" tomorrow but has a tendency to arrive in the evening...
i will not be testing until saturday though should she happen to do a runner (positive wishes and tonnes of babydust plzzz)

i hope you are all ok.

@ uki losing your card twice!! i broke down in tears when i lost this one i cannot stand being without it and knowing that someone has got personal info about me ie account no. you dont know what can happen with all the dodgy people out there.

good luck mrsmc at your new job! im sure everyone will love you just as much as we do!

FactsAndFigures · 11/12/2006 11:58

Good luck to all the MNers who have decided to take a break

Congratulations Uki

Good luck in your new job MrsMcClaus

Kittiwakesnowflakes - My AF was also due on Friday but as yet I've not had any sign or spotting, just raging PMT hormones - fingers crossed your AF stays away. I'm going to try and hold out until Friday until I test - what about you, when do you think you'll test again?

Good luck to everyone else testing this week

minxpie · 11/12/2006 12:02

good morning to all.... just been for first session of reflexology, on cd5 today so quite excited with the whole well being etc just before ov and DH around this weekend and some of next week so hopefully good news for the new year.. slightly confused on the temps though as mine seem to be ranging from 37 - 36.1 this morning... does it get higher before ov then lower when af due ?

Mrs McClaus - good luck for new job today

Mincepieshu - how are you?

ImpatientElf · 11/12/2006 12:16

Uki, congrats! What a lovely way to start the week!

To all who commiserated about my car: Thank you. Sympathy helps. Perhaps scrubbing graffitti in the rain with a fever after extreme sleep deprivation will turn out to be what I needed to do differently this month to get my bfp...

decorativeD2Bmum · 11/12/2006 13:13

forgot to say congratulations uki!!! i missed your bfp part of the post (slaps myself in face for being so sleepy!!)

i hope more of us can come and join you soon. xx

endlesslove · 11/12/2006 13:32

Hi everyone. Hope your weekends were good and everyone is getting prepared for Christmas.

Well some news from me, I got a BFP on Saturday morning, Saturday night and Sunday morning. So praying with all my strength that this little one sticks.

My tips are that I used the CBFM for the first time and it stated that I ovulated a few days later than what I did when I used the OPKs. I also have been away from Mumsnet as some of you may well know and it did me the world of good. I was still watching you all though, but just didn't post anywhere near as much as I did before. I also had legs in air after every session including a couple of days after ovulation. Only took Pregnacare vitamins and DH took Multivitamins with Zinc in.

I am feeling crampy but this has only been since Saturday afternoon so please do not give yourselves a hard time if you do not notice symptons before AF due, although this is soo hard as I have done the very same every month. (My af was due Sat). Boobs not that much bigger. Just hoping that this BFP will stay for 9 months and will be healthy as am soooo worried.

So wishing you all the very best of luck in the world and I am sending you buckets and buckets of babydust. I will still be with you as you are all too nice to leave!

Take care all xxx

MerryKitkatmas · 11/12/2006 14:02

Endless and Uki congrats!!! So happy for you both! And always happy to have another CBFM BFP endless!

Hello everyone else!

decorativeD2Bmum · 11/12/2006 14:30

endless hunny that is fab news!!! congratulations to you and your dp

sparklytreeangel · 11/12/2006 15:38

Endless and Uki - great BFP news

Good luck to everyone else about to test.

I hope the new job is fun MrsMC did you get there in time for their Xmas party?

I am CD18 today with High CBFM, OPK and EWCM. I am happy with amount of bd and good looking temps this month. Trying not to get my hopes up!
