I filled up the last thread - sorry ladies... so thought I best start a new one since there is still a long ol' time to go in December!

OP posts:
MrsMcClaus · 17/12/2006 19:22

No, not yet but we'll be renting so hope it won't be hard to find something if and when we get a buyer.

whoopsfallenoffthexmastree · 17/12/2006 19:43

MrsMcClaus - dh went for months with nothing when I had my coil so he is very obliging (for the moment anyway!)
I also told him that I could quite possibly be pregnant so why not keep going til af arrived
someone else told me tell him that I had a bfp so it wouldn't matter although he would want to see the proof!

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 21:20

Hi MrsMc, thanks for your post, was very refreshing to hear someone so supportive

The doc said the 1st 1 may have been a m/c as i bled so heavily for a long time which was un-usual. He said last month was also poss 1 too as i was 3 days late and had never been late before. Bloody 15 days late now makes it like nothing in comparison! Am going to test Tues.......if i dont 2morro

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 21:27

just a Q, did anyones skin change in early pregnancy? My skin has become really oily, i mean if you run your finger over my face, oil will literally come out! Its horrible! Wondered if it was a sign.....hormones etc.....

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 21:41

Hi to everyone - can I join belatedly? I've been lurking for a while but I can't bear not to post any longer. Have been TTC for nearly a year but dh works away a lot and timing is often off. Af due 25th or 26th but bd'd 2-3 days before ov then dh left so don't know whether that'll work. Good luck to everyone - babylove, am keeping all fingers and toes crossed for you, and for everyone else!

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 21:43

Hey ladybug, fingers crossed for u!!

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 21:45

Thank you! Ooh, it's really exciting when someone replies for the first time! How are you feeling?

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 21:50

Yeh its nice isnt it?! Yeh im feeling ok, confused tho. never having been pg, i dont know what 2 look 4! Worried coz been having ovary pains.....

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 21:55

I'm afraid I can't help you - am trying for my first as well. But I would think the pains are not necessarily a bad thing. Oh, I don't know, but if you still haven't had af yet you've got everything to play for! The female body is a mysterious thing.

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 22:03

Keep getting this mysterious like jumpy feelings. y'kno like you get in your stomach and you say "oh i've got butterflies" - like that! Im trusting thats good! I get cramped up for 3 days before i bleed and havnt had that yet!

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 22:07

Hmm. I've read some of your other posts and I have to say that all your symptoms do sound really positive, except for the bfns of course. I've heard women mention the fluttering thing before. I don't want to get your hopes up, cos I'm certainly not expert, but I wish you lots and lots of luck.

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 22:10

do you ever wonder if your body makes these symptoms up?! I dont have that "i know im pregnant" but i do think i am.......i hope i am! Thanks, wishing you lots of luck too!

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 22:12

My body makes symptoms up every day - and not just about TTC! But yes, it's difficult to know when it's all you can think about. Remember, you can't make up not having af!

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 22:16

true! I've talked to my doc about "missing a period" but ive never done that in 8 yrs so hoping this isnt the 1st!!!

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 22:20

I've never missed a period in (gulp) 20 years. Had a chemical pregnancy in Feb (where you get a positive but then it doesn't implant or something - got my period 9 days late) but that was the only time it's been delayed. People certainly do get missed periods, but would there be a reason for you to?

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 22:28

No, no reason to as far as i know. Was un-well with kidney/water infection but wouldt have thought it would be enough to cause this!!!!

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 22:32

Shouldn't think so. Are you testing again tomorrow/

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 22:46

Think i may have to! Wasnt going to until Tues but i have some so i may need it! See how i feel when i get up! i bet £50 it'll be a BFN!

ladybug007 · 17/12/2006 22:54

Off to bed, but keep us informed! Good luck!xxx

babylove123 · 17/12/2006 22:56

Thanks will do cant sleep so going to do some research on net. I had something done a few yrs ago, some herbal thing where they can tell by your energy if theres anything wrong with you. trying to look it up and see if that can help - anythings worth a shot!

geekInSillySantaHat · 18/12/2006 11:58

Well as predicted, temp went up again this morning, so I'm pretty sure I OVed in the past 36 hours, and lovely DH obliged again last night I almost feel guilty that we've been enjoying lots of BDing in this month when it sounds like so many people on here are finding it tough for various reasons...

XmassyCharlotte, big hugs, really sounds like a difficult time for you honey! Are you getting some time off over Christmas? Maybe you need to take a day or an evening with DP and just relax together, have a romantic meal or something - have a good old fashioned 'date' to remind yourselves how much you do actually love each other, and forget about all the wedding and TTC stuff for a bit. Re the TCOYF, you may need to fiddle around with stuff in the 'Preferences' bit of the software to tailor the calculations to what's normal for you. Having said that, your chart does look fairly flat (on average) for the past week, so maybe it's right and you just haven't OVed yet this month. You could just be a few days late this month, so stay positive!

MrsMc - Congrats on the positive OPK How are things with your DH at the mo?

geekInSillySantaHat · 18/12/2006 12:01

Ooops, really haven't woken up yet, that post was meant for the TCOYF thread, not this one! What I was meant to say on this thread was, congrats to ticklemepink, yet another BFP, so exciting!!!

Welcome ladybug, lovely to have you. Hope we help you get through the 2weekwait still sane, and that you get your BFP soon!

And any news from babylove??!?

FactsAndFigures · 18/12/2006 13:44

Hi All

Congratulations to the BFPs

Unfortunately, my time with you has come to an end. AF has finally arrived, 11 days late!!!! I'm kind of relieved in a strange way as at least I know whats going on - the hanging around feeling no symptoms was doing my head in to say the least.

Good luck to those of you stil in the 2WW.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas

sparklytreeangel · 18/12/2006 17:06

Who's left on December? and who's next to test?

ladybug007 · 18/12/2006 17:13

I'm new on here - af due 25th or 26th.
