babylove123 · 12/12/2006 09:10

Just wanted to wish everyone luck for this month! Hopefully all of us will be getting the news we want! To anyone who feels bad and as if they're wallowing in self pity....dont. I've done it/do it and i've had docs say "oh you're young....it'll happen". Well i hope they never have to go through the upset caused and experience ie because they'd soon have a different approach to it! sorry, rant over

sparklytreeangel · 12/12/2006 10:16

Snowyowlet good luck. It's hard waiting isn't it... temps sound positive

FestiveFettle that's really hard. Having never had BFP it must be a real blow after all the excitement.

snowdivaflakes · 12/12/2006 11:30

hi all, im new to this thread. af due on thursday. ttc since summer, still no luck.
hopefully i will have my xmas prsent early.
congratulations to those who had bfp

sparklytreeangel · 12/12/2006 11:41

snowdivaflakes fingers crossed for you.. have you been trying anything to track or help with ttc? It's hard waiting... let us know how you get on

snowdivaflakes · 12/12/2006 11:58

thanks sparklytreeangel,
last month i was 5days late, i was almost sure i was bfp.i have quite regular af, but since we ttc, its gone all mad. hoping for this time although we did it only 3times
if no luck this month, we decided to stop ttc. as its getting hard. last couple months, i have i been really miserable and depressed. dh blames me being too emotional. prob he is right.
sorry writing this on hopefully ttc thread.
but all the best wishes to others and it will decide me on thursday.
diva

sparklytreeangel · 12/12/2006 12:20

Oh diva it is hard. Some say that a break can help relax couples and bingo BFP. It certainly is stressful and emotional but worth it in the end hopefully
Let us know how you get on on Thursday

BoJingles · 12/12/2006 13:04

Snowydiva - good luck to you. You're safe to say what you like on here, we're all on the emotional rolleroaster with you.

Angel - how are you cycle buddy? Did you make the most of the weekend? I do hope so - fingers crossed for you. I'm on the long old road of the 2ww which feels endless at the moment

Babylove123 - thats such sad news. Sometimes I wish the GP wouldn't tell you things like that as its so upsetting. Good luck to you

greedyformincepies · 12/12/2006 14:07

sorry honeyapple, i thought you had said previously that your 2 were close together, and i got it completely wrong! it must have been someone else who said that but i cant remember who! i think i am just trying to find something to worry about with the whole age gap thing! at least i will have a break from nappies for a while the last 3.5 years have been one pooey nappy after another!

how is everyone today then? i think its good you are feeling positive sparkly! its more fun than being miserable during the 2ww isn't it!
i am hoping this month will fly by with xmas and everything and my fertile window will get here really quickly! i know its not always advised but i am going to try agnus castus this month. my friend took it and ended up with twins after 2 miscarriages. i might chicken out though once it arrives!

Kittiwakesnowflakes · 12/12/2006 14:37

Hi all hope everyone is okay today.

Hi Greedy I know, I had a good feeling about both of us too! Maybe next time we won't get too excited - yeah right

Actually I am feeling pretty low this afternoon Ithink I may have caught but it's not stuck AF was three days late I had loads of weird cramps from a few days past OV and TMI ALERTI have had so much blood today including lots of clotty stuff and the most awful cramps ever. I guess I won't know exactly what happened but it sounds a bit like what babylove mentioned elsewhere and I knew something was going on down there.

FactsAndFigures · 12/12/2006 14:47

Hi babylove123 - Thanks for your reply and sorry to hear that you had upsetting news last month.

I'm now 4 days late still no sore boobs or funny tastes! I did have some cramping this morning and thought AF was on her way but so far no sign!

of course we remember you firststar! (well i do anyway!)...you are grouped in my head with chooster, bodkin, kyte and bubble! you lucky things! congrats on the scan, why did you have one so early? no problems i hope. i had one at 6 weeks with ds and he looked like a kidney bean! i was AMAZED by the difference at the 12 wk scan, he had turned from a kidney bean to a baby!

factsandfigures.....how can you resist testing? go for it! it sounds promising!

greedyformincepies · 12/12/2006 17:17

firststar - i bled with both of my pregnancies too. i panicked first time and thought it was all goign wrong, but it didnt! i also bled again at about 13 or 14 wks both times, so try not to panic if that happens too! its all stress you can do without isnt it!
my memory is scarily good when it comes to some things i am afraid!

babylove123 · 12/12/2006 17:24

Hi Snowdivas,

Im in the same boat as you, ttc since July and it gets harder everytime. I was so naive thinking it would happen quickly! Good choice on the taking a break thing, if that will work for you and make you stronger then go for it i do wish you the best of luck.

Thanks Bojingles for your comments, i just think its rather cruel to asume that because you're young you can shrug it off. just proves to them in not some stupid kid trying to have a baby for the wrong reasons, feels like a lack of respect really. Especially when i approached the topic of implantation bleeding, they said "oh just wait and see" rude

Hi factsandfigures. Am wishing you massive amounts of luck....im you but 7 days later, hehe. Keep me posted

Congratulations firststar, wishing you a wonderful pregnancy!
