AAAAAARRRRRGH! we x-posts and i started a new thread too! how confusing! which do we go with!

festivefettle · 05/12/2006 22:03

Sorry GreedyMince - I preferred Rudolf's title - so I vote we go with this one

Yeah - my temps are still up, but I'm not even holding out a glimmer of hope for this cycle, although I'm going to my ILs this weekend and that tends to be quite boozy, will have to ponder maybe being a bit restrained!

Anyone else suffer from phantom pg symptoms during the 2ww - I'm sure I never did before I mc, but PMT is so similar to early pg signs - it is so UNFAIR!!

RudolphsREADY · 05/12/2006 22:05

Far better to have no symptoms and a BFP than phantom symptons huh!!! (hug) I know what you mean though

thechristmassyone · 05/12/2006 22:12

ahh, so that's where you all went! left last thread window open whilst doing tesco shop online and came back to find no msgs. thought you didn't like me only kidding - just getting used to this, I'm a bear of very little brain

thechristmassyone · 05/12/2006 22:16

as for phantom signs, boobs are sore, but I fell for that a couple of months ago so not reading anything into it this time. it's probably got more to do with packing boxes in my PJs (no bra,32f-g) the other morning (moving house in 2 weeks)

RudolphsREADY · 05/12/2006 22:17

Here's what I posted to you on the other thread ChristmassyOne "Welcome aboard ChristmassyOne! You are in the right place, there are so many wonderful and supportive ladies on the conception threads. What next? you ask... well, from a personal point of view, I ask LOTS of questions (I've been ttc for 3 months now) and always get the answers I need. Also, I like the banter and jus to generally chat with people that are going through the whole ttc battle too, and I just love to hear about the BFPs - I can't wait til one of them is my own!! Good luck x "

And for Natty too in case it gets lost "Natty!!!!! Welcome back sweets!! I wasn't on for long before you took your break but I have missed ya .... I am thinking of a festive name for you

I was good today and only posted in the evening, not sure I will be able to resist a peak throughout the day every day though
How are you feeling?? Are you sure AF is on her way??? xx"

Hi folks, took nearly 20mins to catch up on all your news tonight - and of course another five to find out where you had disappeared to. Didnt realise that a thread can get too long - so not only learning about BFP but also cyberspace too
Thanks MrsMcClause and Rudolphsready for your kind and supportive words - who says Im saneafter this rollercoaster ride there are some days when I dont know who I am! Anyway re. the supplements - no not recommended by consultant who only recommended folic acid. The low dosage asprin was recommended by a colleague at work who said that her consultant recommended this to most of his patients who were 'older' cos it apparently thins the blood of the uterus lining and makes it easier for the eggs to implant. Cos us older ladies are said to have harder shells (cos been in the body longer)....who knows! Since taking the EPO for the whole cycle my mood swings and headaches have gone which was a better option than headache tabs that were damaging stomach and egg production (says gp???). The B6 is also meant to regulate hormones. All I can say is that looking at my charts since taking them the temps are more regular whereas before the temps were up and down and ovulation occured at different times. For the last 3 months it has been around day 12 or 13 - I could never predict so well before.

No cyberslapping for MrsMcClaus - you give really valuable advice and much appreciated. We didnt want to go down the IVF route - felt unnatural and didnt want to press nature but desperation is a sad thing and it has made us re-evaluate all our values. Had IUI x 1 and didnt work last year so now on the IVF journey. But hey - still in my 2ww (due af next wed) so who knows!(fsmile)

minxi · 06/12/2006 07:55

okay didsay monday night af lookied like it was starting on the 2ww thread - well since then had slight dicoulouration on loo paper on monday night after going to the loo (sorry if tmi) since then a couple of brown string bits lat two days (very small and nothing else) so no actual bleeding sign yet but probably the start - as am due today...what do you think ? sorry if a bit jumbled - have no tests to test probably should just wait and see what happens today. Confused!

Chooster · 06/12/2006 09:13

Hi December ladies - Just popping in to say hello!! I always check on you to see how everything is going - Hoping to see some BFP's soon

Hi MrsMc - Sorry to hear DH is not doing quite so well this week! Yes, you're right about my thermometer - I got the fertility one from Boots (same as Ready's I think). It stores the last temp taken so if you can resist looking at it straight away, you can just look once you are up and about. Mind you I was always there with my mobile phone lit up looking at it straight away

Good luck everyone!

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 06/12/2006 09:19

yes we hit a 1000

MerryKitkatmas · 06/12/2006 09:24

Morning girls - how are you all feeling this morning?

Chooster, Natty - lovely to see you back here! How are you both??

Minxi, Christmassy - hello lovely newbies (well, newbies to me anyway!)

City, Ready, Greedy, Impatience, Fettle, MrsMc, Snowy (apologies if I'm missing anyone!) - how are you all doing? I'm OK - feeling considerably better than I did last week - just letting all the stress wash over me! Really looking forward to the Christmas break/mince pies/crackers/crqap TV etc etc! I'm on CD15 today, due to ov tomorrow I think (if the CBFM is telling the truth!) - BD'd last night. Not sure if we should do it again tonight, or save it until tomorrow. What do you guys think? BD every day or every other day???

I'm lost with everyone's cycles again - can we do another roll call?

Merrykitkatmas - cycle 3 - CD15 (due to ov CD16 I think) - AF due 21st Dec (ish)

alittlebitshy · 06/12/2006 09:59

Hi can i join you?
I'm (duh) ttc a scond child. My dd is 3.6, and I have suddenly got from "another baby someday" to "another baby now!!!!!". And I only had my last depo injection in august (so it ran out mid october) so am feeling very despondent after reading all the negative stories about ttc after depo.
Admittedly i am only 27 so time is on my side, but if I am feeling this desperate after only ttc for 2 weeks I'm going to be over the edge in 2 years time.
argh!!!

anyhow, after that whinge here's a big cheery hello to you all

sparklytreeangel · 06/12/2006 10:48

Thinking of renaming myself to Fedupashellsodxmas at the moment
Seem to have put dh off bd for life. Rowed about it yesterday which is very counterproductive.
Especially as things look promising down below .

Go for it tickleme I should be more positive like you!

sparklytreeangel - cycle 5 - CD13 due to OV CD17 AF due CHRISTMAS DAY too!
Ticklemepinkwithtinsel = cycle 10 - CD 22 -( ovulate around about 20 -23) - AF due 17th ish - Did get a BFP in July but had m/c in August

ticklemepinkwithtinsel · 06/12/2006 10:54

i know what you mean sparkly about rowing with Dh over it we BD sat,sun but on Monday he couldn't "perform" (fblush) as he said he felt to much pressure! I then got a bit frustrated which i know what totally unfair (did say sorry afterwards) - then we bd last night as he " knew he had to" - i think he finds it a relief when the 2 ww arrives as he know he can chill out a bit!

MerryKitkatmas · 06/12/2006 11:11

It's frustrating isnt it. So do you guys BD every day during the important week, or every other day??

sparklytreeangel · 06/12/2006 11:13

every never day at the moment!

MerryKitkatmas · 06/12/2006 11:26

Oh Sparkly - we put them under a lot of pressure dont we? I try not to tell my DH anything, that way he doesnt have to cope with all the gory details! The only thing I told him this month is that I'd like to try every other day during the fertile week. He seems Ok with it so far... Maybe switch to every other day instead of every day? I think it's meant to be better for sperm motility anyway...
