When to expect period - Provera

EllaMenoPea · 06/10/2015 09:42

As above really. I finished 5 days of Provera on Saturday to induce a bleed to start Clomid. When should I expect a period? Just wondering if anyone has any experiences. Google is telling me lots of different times. Getting impatient Blush

Lovely scan photos moomin Smile
My brothers wedding was a really lovely day but went so fast! We are going over to my parents later for a buffet to round the weekend off and we can then give them their wedding present.

Will be testing in a weeks time. Starting to feel nervous about it all as I know this is closest I've come and will be heartbroken if it's negative xxx

EllaMenoPea · 10/07/2016 17:08

Ah I'm glad the wedding went well boggle. How are you feeling?

Have a brilliant holiday robber. You deserve it. What cd are you on?

OP posts:
RobberBride · 10/07/2016 17:30

Ahhhhhhhhh, as Ella says, it is a real baby! Congratulations Moomin and MrMoomin.

Ella how are you feeling?

Boggle what did you get them? Good weddings always go so fast.

I'm CD11 but we're telling ourselves this isn't a real cycle. Trying to DTD just for fun (the novelty!) I'll do a progesterone test on CD23, the day we're back from holiday, and if it is flatline low as usual I'll start norethisterone to induce AF.

YouBoggleMyMind · 10/07/2016 18:25

No obvious symptoms other than nips are sensitive but that's been the same for most of this cycle. Feeling nervous other than that.

We got them some money towards their honeymoon and a silver frame with their names, the date and the venue engraved on it.

Xxx

EllaMenoPea · 10/07/2016 18:32

I'm ok thanks robber, just exhausted.

Haha have fun DTD for fun (what is that again?!)

That's a lovely gift boggle. I think no symptoms is always a potential good sign!

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 10/07/2016 19:06

Or it could be that no symptoms mean nothing is happening and it's not worked! Knowing my luck it'll be that...

They seemed pleased with the gift. Hoping once they get their photos back they can put a nice one in there xxx

Moomin37 · 10/07/2016 19:35

I wouldn't worry Boggle - if it weren't for the fanjo bullets (progesterone pessaries) I doubt I'd have had any symptoms either. Well nothing out of the ordinary for that time in my cycle.

AmyC86 · 10/07/2016 22:58

Sounds like you had a good weekend boggle xx fingers crossed for you and test day xx

Brilliant picture moomin xx send some luck to us all xx I'm cd4, feeling similar to yourself boggle and that this Clomid isn't going to work again this time, so even know I've taken it, I think that the pressure is going to be off this time.

Strangely enough, this AF came after a 74 day cycle. The last 2+ years my AFs have been a drawn out 7 days of light to heavy to light bleed with minimal cramps. This time, horrendous cramps, extremely heavy to very light & it's only lasted 5 days, which is very similar to what my cycle was like years ago..... don't know if the last clomid has changed it or if it were a proper natural period!

YouBoggleMyMind · 11/07/2016 08:06

Ladies, you're going to have to look after me once I know what's going on at the end of this week. I am so scared of more bad news xxx

YouBoggleMyMind · 11/07/2016 08:55

I guess I can be pleased that by this time in my last cycle, I'd started spotting but no sign of that so far!

danikagrace · 11/07/2016 11:26

Robber gosh that's a long week! I hope you have an amazing holiday and catch up on what must be much needed rest!

Moomin woooow! How lovely amazing fantastic! Also that sounds like a really sensible plan, I bet it just being the two of you knowing is special in a way, shame your body forces you into reveal!

Boggle hope you enjoyed your brother's wedding weekend. My fingers and toes ar crossed for you for your test!!

Amy hopefully that's a good sign that your period seems more like how it used to be, I hope so!

Ella how are you feeling?

Well we DTD when I had ewcm out of nowhere last week (for the first time since I came off my pill), I'm hoping maybe it meant something, but maybe it didn't! Will test in about 2 weeks I think.
OH has his sa on Thurs (apologies in advance for the possible tmi) but they sent a pot and a letter saying please do it at home and have it with us in less than an hour, but if you'd rather do it here it can be arranged. Now obviously he'd much rather do it at home but the hospital we have to take it to isn't our local one and google says 1 hour 5 mins with no traffic then we have to park etc. What did your partners do?

YouBoggleMyMind · 11/07/2016 11:51

Thanks danika.
My DH did it at home and drove the the hospital but it is only 10 mins at most from our house.

AmyC86 · 11/07/2016 12:53

My husband had to take it to the labatory rather than the hospital x again did it at home and took it in x

EllaMenoPea · 11/07/2016 14:11

Thank you danika, I'm feeling OK :)

My DH has done one at the clinic and one at home but again were only 10mins ish from the hospital.

danikagrace · 11/07/2016 21:00

Thanks girls. I rang them and they said 5/10 minutes later than the hour is okay but not 20 mins. And when we checked google again today it said 50 mins so I think we might chance it... It's in the cup, quick I've got the engine running, go go go! Grin The things this whole journey has lead to already!! Lol

Tryingtowait · 11/07/2016 23:03

Hey guys, not been around again for a while sorry! Had 3 deaths at work (I work with the elderly) which hit me quite hard and this month had an annovoltry (sp?) cycle as I was temping. I've finally booked to see my gp next week which is a new one too to see what help they may be with my pcos. I've got 2 weeks off in August to destress and basically hide from work as not had a holiday in 6 months and a lot of changes is making me overly involved with my residents and it's getting emotionally hard.

Lovely pic moomin congrats

robber enjoy your hols and dtd for fun!

boggle hot everything crossed for you

And it's a page or two ago now ella but can't beat the CB 3+ digit feeling of relief

Anddanicka don't think you were on here last time I was so hi.

amy hope the change in period is a good sign too

Tryingtowait · 11/07/2016 23:04

I will try and stick around a bit longer time instead of keeping disappearing

EllaMenoPea · 12/07/2016 09:29

Hi trying glad to hear you've booked in with docs, let us know how it goes and get all your questions ready.

Sorry to hear you've had a tough few weeks Flowers

OP posts:
danikagrace · 12/07/2016 09:37

Trying hi Smile Gosh those do sound like a rough few weeks Flowers. When is your docs appt? Will it be the first time you've seen them about pcos?

YouBoggleMyMind · 12/07/2016 12:06

I'm starting to go crazy. I am so scared about the result on Sunday. SadSadSad it's going to be negative isn't it. I don't have any symptoms.

EllaMenoPea · 12/07/2016 12:24

boggle please try not to worry about no symptoms, it's still very early days. Most people's symptom is a missed period at this point Flowers I've got everything crossed for you xx

OP posts:
YouBoggleMyMind · 12/07/2016 12:41

Thanks ella. Just feeling so rubbish about it all right now. This shit weather isn't helping either! Why is it pouring with rain?? It's July AngrySad
